1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Diese Druckkammer-Lautsprecher mit hohem Wir-
kungsgrad sind für den Einsatz in Beschallungsanla-
gen konzipiert. Das Modell IT-40 ist speziell für ELA-
Anlagen ausgelegt, die mit 100-V-Technik arbeiten
und das Modell NR-40KS mit einer Impedanz von
16 Ω ist zum Anschluss an Verstärker mit niedriger
Ausgangsimpedanz geeignet. Durch die wetterfesten
ABS-Gehäuse sind die Lautsprecher auch im Außen-
bereich einsetzbar (Schutzklasse IP 66).
2 Wichtige Hinweise für den sicheren
Gebrauch
Diese Druckkammer-Lautsprecher entsprechen allen
relevanten Richtlinien der EU und sind deshalb mit
gekennzeichnet.
GVerwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein weiches,
eventuell angefeuchtetes Tuch. Geben Sie bei Be-
darf als Schmutzlöser nur etwas Spülmittel zu, auf
keinen Fall scheuernde Mittel oder Chemikalien.
GSetzen Sie den Lautsprecher nicht zu großer Hitze
oder Kälte aus (zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbe-
reich
- 20 °C bis +50 °C).
GWird der Lautsprecher zweckentfremdet, nicht fach-
gerecht angeschlossen oder überlastet, kann keine
Haftung für daraus resultierende Sach- oder Perso-
nenschäden und keine Garantie für den Lautspre-
cher übernommen werden.
3 Montage
Den Lautsprecher mit dem Montagebügel an geeigne-
ter Stelle fachgerecht befestigen und auf den zu be-
schallenden Bereich ausrichten.
4 Elektrischer Anschluss
Der Anschluss des Lautsprechers darf nur durch
Fachpersonal erfolgen.
WARNUNG Bei dem Modell IT-40 liegt im Betrieb
berührungsgefährliche Spannung bis
100 V an der Anschlussleitung an.
Achten Sie bei dem Modell IT-40 auf die
richtige Leistungsanpassung. Eine fal-
sche Anpassung führt zur Zerstörung
Soll der Lautsprecher endgültig aus dem Be-
trieb genommen werden, übergeben Sie ihn
zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem örtli-
chen Recyclingbetrieb.
1) Zuerst den Verstärker, an den der Lautsprecher an-
geschlossen werden soll, ausschalten!
2) Den Lautsprecher an den Lautsprecherausgang
des Verstärkers anschließen.
Beim Anschluss von mehreren Lautsprechern da-
rauf achten, dass die Lautsprecher alle gleich ge-
polt werden (schwarze Ader = Minuspol).
3) Bei dem Modell IT-40 vor dem Einschalten des Ver-
stärkers die Nennbelastung durch den Druckkam-
mer-Lautsprecher mit dem Schalter auf der Rück-
seite einstellen. Dazu einen Schraubendreher zur
Hilfe nehmen.
Die Impedanz, die sich aus der eingestellten Belas-
tung ergibt, ist in der folgenden Tabelle aufgeführt:

Horn Speakers
Please read these operating instructions carefully
prior to installation and keep them for later reference.
1 Applications
These horn speakers of high efficiency are designed
for PA applications. Model IT-40 is especially suitable
for PA systems which operate with 100 V technique,
and model NR-40KS with an impedance of 16 Ω is
suitable for the connection to amplifiers with low output
impedance. Due to the weatherproof ABS housings
the speakers can be used outdoors as well (protective
class IP 66).
2 Important Safety Notes
These horn speakers correspond to all relevant direc-
tives of the EU and are therefore marked with .
GFor cleaning only use a soft cloth which may be
moistened. If necessary, only add some washing-
up liquid to solve the impurities, by no means scour-
ing agents or chemicals.
GDo not expose the speaker to excessive hot and
cold temperatures (admissible ambient temperature
range
- 20 °C to +50 °C).
GNo guarantee claims for the speaker and no liability
for any resulting personal or material damage will be
accepted if the speaker is used for other purposes
than originally intended, if it is not correctly connect-
ed, or if it is overloaded.
3 Installation
Fix the speaker with the mounting bracket at a suitable
place in a qualified way and direct it towards the
PA area.
4 Electrical Connection
The connection of the speaker must only be made by
authorized personnel.
WARNING During operation of model IT-40, there
is a hazard of contact at the connection
cable with a voltage up to 100 V.
Pay attention to the correct power
matching in case of model IT-40. In
case of wrong matching, the power
If the speaker is to be put out of operation de-
finitively, take it to a local recycling plant for a
disposal which is not harmful to the environ-
ment.
1) First switch off the amplifier to which the speaker is
to be connected!
2) Connect the speaker to the speaker output of the
amplifier.
When connecting several speakers, observe that
all speakers are polarized in the same way (black
core = negative pole).
3) Regarding model IT-40, adjust the rated power by
the horn speaker with the switch on the rear side
prior to switching on the amplifier. For this purpose
use a screw driver.
The impedance which results from the adjusted
power is listed in the following table:

Haut-parleurs à chambre

Veuillez lire la présente notice avec attention avant
lʼinstallation et conservez-la pour pouvoir vous y re-
porter ultérieurement.
1 Possibilités dʼutilisation
Ces haut-parleurs à chambre de compression à haut
rendement sont conçus pour des installations de sono-
risation. Le modèle IT-40 est particulièrement bien
adapté à des installations de Public Address, fonction-
nant en ligne 100 V; le modèle NR-40KS avec une im-
pédance de 16 Ω est adapté au branchement à un am-
plificateur avec une faible impédance de sortie. Les boî-
tiers en ABS, résistants aux intempéries, permettent
une installation en extérieur (classe de protection
IP 66).
2 Conseils importants dʼutilisation
Ces haut-parleurs à chambre de compression répon-
dent à toutes les directives nécessaires de lʼUnion eu-
ropéenne et portent donc le symbole .
GPour nettoyer lʼappareil, utilisez un chiffon doux,
éventuellement légèrement humidifié. Si nécessaire,
nʼajoutez quʼun peu de détergent pour la vaisselle
pour faire disparaître les impuretés, utilisez en aucun
cas de produits chimiques ou de détergents abrasifs.

Ne lʼexposez pas à des températures excessives (tem-
pérature dʼutilisation admissible:
- 20 °C à +50 °C).
GNous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dom-
mages matériels ou corporels résultants si le haut-
parleur est utilisé dans un but autre que celui pour
lequel il a été conçu, sʼil nʼest pas correctement
branché, sʼil y a surcharge ; en outre, la garantie de-
viendrait caduque.
3 Montage
Fixez le haut-parleur avec son étrier de montage à
lʼendroit souhaité et dirigez-le vers la zone à sonoriser.
4 Branchement électrique
Seul un technicien habilité peut effectuer le branche-
ment du haut-parleur.
AVERTISSEMENT Sur le modèle IT-40, une tension de
contact dangereux de 100 V maxi-

réglez la puissance nominale par le haut-parleur à
chambre de compression avec lʼinterrupteur de la
face arrière. Pour ce faire, utilisez un tournevis.
Le tableau suivant indique lʼimpédance en fonction
de la puissance.

Altoparlanti a compressione
Vi preghiamo di leggere attentamente le presenti istru-
zioni prima dellʼinstallazione e di conservarle per un
uso futuro.
1 Possibilità dʼimpiego
Questi altoparlanti a compressione ad alta efficienza
sono stati realizzati per lʼimpiego in impianti di sonoriz-
zazione. Il modello IT-40 è previsto specialmente per
impianti PA che lavorano con uscita audio a 100V, men-
tre il modello NR-40KS, con la sua impedenza di 16 Ω,
è previsto per il collegamento con amplificatori a bassa
impedenza. Grazie alle custodie in ABS, resistenti alle
intemperie, questi altoparlanti possono essere impie-
gato anche allʼesterno (classe di protezione IP 66).
2 Avvertenze di sicurezza
Questi altoparlanti a compressione sono conformi a tutte
le direttive rilevanti dellʼUE e pertanto porta la sigla .
GPer la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido, even-
tualmente inumidito. Se necessario aggiungere un
poʼ di detersivo, in nessun caso impiegare prodotti
abrasivi o chimici.
GNon esporre lʼaltoparlante a forte calore o freddo (tem-
peratura dʼimpiego ammessa fra
- 20 °C e +50 °C).
GNel caso di uso improprio, di collegamenti sbagliati
o sovraccarico non si assume nessuna responsabi-
lità per eventuali danni consequenziali a cose o per-
sone e non si assume nessuna garanzia per lʼalto-
parlante.
3 Montaggio
Fissare lʼaltoparlante in un punto adatto servendosi
della staffa di montaggio; quindi orientarlo verso la
zona da sonorizzare.
4 Collegamento elettrico
Il collegamento dellʼaltoparlante devʼessere eseguito
solo da una persona esperta.
AVVERTIMENTO Durante il funzionamento, nel modello
IT-40 il cavo di collegamento presenta
una tensione pericolosa fino a 100 V.
Nel modello IT-40 fare attenzione al
corretto adattamento della potenza.
Lʼadattamento sbagliato porta alla di-

1) Per prima cosa spegnere lʼamplificatore al quale
sarà collegato lʼaltoparlante!
2) Collegare lʼaltoparlante con lʼuscita altoparlanti del-
lʼamplificatore.
Nel caso di collegamento di più altoparlanti fare at-
tenzione allʼidentica polarità di tutti gli altoparlanti
(conduttore nero = negativo).
3) Nel modello IT-40, prima di accendere lʼamplifica-
tore, impostare la potenza nominale tramite lʼalto-
parlante a compressione con il commutatore sul re-
tro, servendosi di un cacciavite.
