4. MEASURING PROCEDURE
1) Connect the ORP Electrode ( optional ) to the " BNC
socket " ( 3-5, Fig. 1 ).
2) Power on the instrument by pressing the " Power ON
Button " ( 3-2, Fig. 1 ).
3) Plug in the " BNC Plug of ORP Electrode ( optional ) "
( 3-10, Fig. 1 ) into the " BNC Socket " ( 3-5, Fig. 1 )
4) Place the ORP electrode ( optional ) into the measured
solution, the LCD Display ( 3-1, Fig. 1 ) will show the
ORP value in " mV " unit.
5) During the measurement, pressing the " Hold Button "
( 3-4, Fig. 1 ) will freeze the display value, at the same time
the LCD will show the " HOLD " indicator.
To release the Data Hold function, just pressing
the " Hold Button " again, then the " HOLD " indicator
will be disappeared and cancel the Data Hold function.
6) Power off the instrument by pressing the " Power OFF
Button " ( 3-3, Fig. 1 ).
Remark :
a. After make the measurement, please rinse the
electrode in distilled water.

b. The meter build in one " Calibration VR "
( 3-6, Fig. 1 ) on the side case. However, the
complete calibration procedure was already
done when meter was produced. New
calibration procedure is not necessary except it
will be executed by the qualify technician people.

5. REPLACEMENT OF BATTERY
1) When the left corner of LCD display show " " ,
it is necessary to replace the battery. However, in-spec
measurement may still be made for several hours after
" Low Battery Indicator " appears before the
instrument become inaccurate.
2) To replace the battery, remove the " Battery Cover "
( 3-7, Fig. 1 ) on the rear cabinet.
3) Take out the battery, install a new one ( 006P DC 9V ) and
reinstall the battery cover again.
