Precautions:
Carry
out
periodic
test
measurements.
Parti-
cularly
after
the
instrument
has
beensubject
to
abnormaluse,
and
before,
during

after
important
measurements.
Make
sure
the
optics
is
keptclean
and
that
there
isno
mechanicaldamage
tothe
bumpers.

instrument
for
distancemeasure-
ments

unforeseen
events

A
built-insensorautomaticallydetects
the
orientation
of
the
positioningbracket
and
adjusts
the
zeropoint
of
the
instrumentaccordingly.
•
For
measurements
from
an
edge,
fold
outthe
positioning
bracket
until
it
first
locks
in
place.
•For
measurements
from
a
corner,open
the
positioning
bracketuntil
it
locks
in
place,then
push
the
positioning
bracket
lightly
tothe
right
to
fold
itout
fully.
A
built-insensorautomaticallydetects
the
orientation
ofthe
positioning
bracket
and
adjusts
the
zero
point
ofthe
instrumentaccordingly.
