Overview
Thisproductisshippedout asabarebone. Some compo-
nentsare equippedwhilesome are optional. See thefollowingfor
thestandardandoptional items:

setup. Before assemblingyoursystem, pleasebepreparedforthe
installation toolsandappropriateitems.If you are not clear about
theitems, contact yourdealer fortheinformation.

RemovingCover
Loosethethree thumbscrewson the
back panel.
Remove thechassiscover.

RemovingDrivesCage
Locatethedrivescage.Lift the
handleupwardand pullthedrives
cage toanupright position.
Push thelockingcliptotheright
sidetolock thedrivescage inan
uprightposition.

Releasethecabletie.
Pushtoremove theblack plastic
platefromthedrivescage.

Pull thedrivescagebackandup-
wardfromthechassis.
Pull toreleasethewhiteclips on
bothsides.
To releasethedrivescagefromthe
chassis,positionthescrewtothe
screw hole.

PuttheCPUontothesocket.
Make sure thepins are com-
pletelyembeddedintothe
socket. TheCPUcanonlyfit in
Pull theleverawayfromthe
socketandraiseit uptoa90-
degree angle.
Closethelever tocompletethe
installation.
LocatetheCPU socket.
InstallingAMDK8 CPU(optional)

Insertthecoolerintothebare
boneand putit ontotheCPU.
Usethescrewdrivertosecurefour
built-inscrews.
Connectthepower cord.
Note:Readtheinstructionson
thecoolerbeforeyou startthe
installation.

PuttheCPUontothesocket.
Makesurethepinsarecompletely
embeddedintothesocket. The
CPUcanonlyfitinthecorrect
direction.
Pull theleverawayfromthe
socketand raiseitup over90-de-
gree angle.
Closethelevertocompletethe
installation.
LocatetheCPU socketandtake
off theprotectingcover.
InstallingIntel CPU(optional)

Peel off thesticker before you install theCPU cooler.
Usethescrewdrivertosecurefour
built-inscrewsfollowingthein-
dicatedorder(1-->2-->3-->4).
Connectthepower cord.
Note: Readtheinstructionsonthecoolerbeforeyoustartthe
installation.
Insertthecoolerintothebare
boneand putit ontotheCPU.

Theplasticclipateachsideof
theDIMMslotwill automatically
close.
Insert theDDR DIMMvertically
intotheslot.
Note:TheDIMMhasonlyone
notchon thecenterofmodule.It
will onlyfitintherightdirection.
WARNING!
Readthisbeforeyou proceed......
Droppingiron dustintothechassisduringsystemassemply
maycauseserious damagetothemainboard.Therefore,
allpartsmust beproperlyinstalledawayfromthechassis
before proceedingtothefinal step---replacingthedrives
cage.

Pushthebracketsout-
wardsasthepicture
shown.
Theemptydrivescageisremoved
fromthechassis.
Push thelock bracket
totheright side.
InstallingHDD
Remove theHDD tray fromthe
drivescage.

Insert theSATAorIDEHDDmodule
intotheHDD tray.
Make suretopushtheHDDmodule
allthewaydownuntilittouchesthe
end.
Pushthebracketsinwardstolock the
HDD moduleinplace.

InstallingCD-ROM
Pullthelockbracketsoutwards be-
foreyou caninserttheCD-ROM
drive intotheCD-ROMtray.
AligntheCD-ROMdrive sscrew
holewiththeCD-ROMtray s.Push
thelock bracketinwards tosecure
themodule.
Remembertosecurethelockbrack-
etson bothsides.
ImportantNotice!
Pleasenotethatourspecially
designedchassisisnotcom-
patiblewithanyopticaldrive
withconvex frontbezel.
(Recommended: Foreasyas-
semblyandnormaloperation,
usetheoptical drive withflat
frontpanel.)

Pushthelockbrackettotheright
sidetosecuretheHDDtray tothe
drivescage.
Pullthelockbracket totheleft side.
