1 Introduction
This document describes the specifications for the Installation Wizard performed from
MUTOH Status Monitor (referred to as “MSM”).
MSM and other related applications should be installed from All-in-one installer.

2 Installation Wizard Functions
The Installation Wizard guides you through the printer initial installation process for your
selected printer and informs the installation result to All-in-on installer.
When the Installation Wizard is fully completed, MSM is closed and you will return to the
All-in-one installer process.
For the details of the Installation Wizard, see “3 Installation Wizard”.
VJ-628's Installation Wizard screens are used as examples here, unless otherwise noted.

3 Installation Wizard
The Installation Wizard launches depending on the printer status and guides you through
the printer initial installation process after the printer registration.
3-1 Launching Installation Wizard
The Installation Wizard launches if any of the following conditions apply;
1. The MSM initial setting has not been completed.
2. The printer activation has not been completed
3. The initial ink charge has not been performed.

If you cannot access the Internet, uncheck “MUTOH Club Service”.

e-mail address specified in MSM.

Select the checkbox to use the service to back up the printer
information to MUTOH Club from MSM, and check the printer
information through MUTOH Club.

Specify the mail notification system for the report mail function.
Please select the system according to your e-mail environment.

7-2 Mail Setting(SMTP)
Set up the SMTP.
For the setting contents, please check with your network administrator.

Please register the e-mail address to be used for report mail function.
Perform "Send Test Mail" to check the mail sending condition.
If you do not register the e-mail address during the initial setting, click “Next”to skip this setting.
