You have selected a high-quality product.
The operating instructions are part of this product.
They contain important information on safety,
usage and disposal. Before using the product,
familiarise yourself with all operating and safety
instructions. Use the product only as described
and for the specified areas of application. Please
also pass on these operating instructions to any
future owner.
Intended use
This appliance is intended exclusively for personal
dental care at home. This appliance is intended
solely for use in private households. The appliance
is not intended for use in industrial or medical
environments. It is not suitable for animal care.
Do not use it for commercial purposes.

Safety instructions
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► To avoid damage, do not allow liquids to penetrate the appliance
and do not submerge it in water.
► Ensure that no foreign objects penetrate the appliance.
► In the event of malfunctions or obvious damage, please
contact our Customer Service department.
► Toothbrushes may be used by children and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and/or knowledge if they are supervised or have
been told how to use the appliance safely and are aware of the
potential risks.
► Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed
by children unless they are under supervision.
► Children must not use the appliance as a plaything.
► Do not allow the appliance to come into contact with hot surfaces.
The appliance could be irreparably damaged!
► Do not open the appliance (except the battery compartment)
yourself. Risk of injury if appliance is not properly assembled!
HANDLING BATTERIES
► Do not throw batteries into a fire. Do not recharge batteries.
There is a risk of explosion and injury!
► Never open batteries and never solder or weld batteries.
There is a risk of explosion and injury!
► Check the condition of the batteries at regular intervals.
Leaking batteries can cause damage to the appliance.

HANDLING BATTERIES
► If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period,
remove the batteries.
► If the batteries have leaked, use protective gloves. Clean the
battery compartment and the battery contacts with a dry cloth.
► Keep batteries out of the reach of children. Children might
put batteries into their mouth and swallow them. If a battery is
swallowed, medical assistance must be sought immediately.
Preparation
Unscrew the battery compartment cap 5.
1) Insert the batteries as per the polarity diagram
in the battery compartment.
2) Screw the battery compartment cap 5back
on.
3) Select a sticker and stick it on the front of the
appliance.
4) Before initial use, clean the new brush heads 1
with fresh water.
Fitting/removing brush heads
■ Push a brush head 1onto the hand element 4
with a slight twisting motion.
■ To remove the brush head 1, turn it a little
anticlockwise while pulling it upwards and off.
NOTE
To avoid damage to the appliance, always use
original brush heads.
(See section “Order replacement parts” for
replacement brush heads)
Brushing teeth
This appliance is not intended for
children under 3 years of age.
WARNING!
Due to the unaccustomed effect of the tooth-
brush, there may be some initial gum bleeding.
This is normal. If this continues for more than
two weeks, you should consult your dentist.
1) Place the brush head 1onto the drive shaft
on the handset 4.
2) Moisten the brush under flowing water.
3) Put a little toothpaste onto the wet brush.
NOTE
To avoid spray, do not switch on the appliance
until it is in your mouth
4) Turn the sandglass 6over and press the on
switch 2.

5) Divide your mouth into four parts (quadrants):
upper right, upper left, lower right and lower
left.
6) Start in one quadrant:
Start with the brush head 1on your gums,
and move the brush upwards/downwards
from the gums to the crown of the tooth.
Proceed in this manner on both the inside and
the outside of the tooth. Start again at the
gums for each individual tooth.
Do not forget to brush the back of the rear
molars.
To clean the chewing surfaces, guide the
brush over them with a little pressure.
7) After about 30 seconds, move on to the next
quadrant. Clean each jaw quadrant using the
same technique.
8) After about two minutes, the sand in the sand-
glass 6will have run through, indicating
that you have completed the two minutes
of cleaning recommended by dental profes-
sionals.
9) Press the off switch 3. The toothbrush stops.
10) Then take the toothbrush out of your mouth.
11) After use, rinse the brush head 1thoroughly
under running water.
12) Remove the brush head 1from the handset 4.
To clean the drive shaft and the handset 4,
rinse them briefly with water. Hold the handset 4
so that the drive shaft is at a downward angle.
Cleaning and care
WARNING! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
Never submerge the hand element 4in
water or other liquids!
► Do not use detergents or solvents. They can
damage the plastic surfaces.
1) Remove the brush head 1from the handset
4. After use, clean the brush heads 1
thoroughly under running water.
We recommend cleaning the brush heads 1
in a standard commercial denture cleaning
fluid every 2–4 weeks. A new brush head 1
should be fitted after about 3 months, and the
brush head must always be replaced when
the bristles start to bend outwards.
2) To clean the drive shaft and the handset 4,
rinse them briefly with water. Hold the handset 4
so that the drive shaft is at a downwards angle.

Disposal
Never dispose of the appliance
in the normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the
provisions of European
Directive 2012/19/EU.
Dispose of the appliance via an approved waste
disposal company or your municipal waste
disposal facility. Please comply with all applicable
regulations. Please contact your waste disposal
centre if you are in any doubt.
Your local community or municipal
authorities can provide information
on how to dispose of the worn-out
product.
Disposal of (rechargeable) batteries
Used batteries may not be disposed of
in the household waste. Consumers are
legally obliged to dispose of (recharge-
able) batteries at a collection point in their
community/city district or at a retail store. The
purpose of this requirement is to ensure that
batteries are disposed of in an environmentally
friendly manner. Only dispose of batteries when
they are fully discharged.
The packaging is made from
environmentally friendly material and
can be disposed of at your local
recycling plant.

Note the labelling on the packaging
and separate the packaging material
components for disposal if necessary. The
packaging material is labelled with abbreviations
(a) and numbers (b) with the following meanings:
1–7: Plastics, 20–22: Paper and cardboard,

warranty
Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from
the date of purchase. If this product has any
faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way
by the warranty described below.
Warranty conditions
The validity period of the warranty starts from
the date of purchase. Please keep your original
receipt in a safe place. This document will be
required as proof of purchase.
If any material or production fault occurs within
three years of the date of purchase of the product,
we will either repair or replace the product
for you at our discretion. This warranty service
is dependent on you presenting the defective
appliance and the proof of purchase (receipt)
and a short written description of the fault and
its time of occurrence.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your
product will either be repaired or replaced by us.
The repair or replacement of a product does not
signify the beginning of a new warranty period.
Warranty period and statutory claims
for defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs
effected under the warranty. This also applies to
replaced and repaired components. Any damage
and defects present at the time of purchase must
be reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs
carried out after expiry of the warranty period
shall be subject to a fee.

Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in
accordance with strict quality guidelines and
inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production
faults. The warranty does not extend to product
parts subject to normal wear and tear or fragile
parts such as switches, batteries, baking moulds or
parts made of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has
been damaged, improperly used or improperly
maintained. The directions in the operating instruc-
tions for the product regarding proper use of
the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and
actions that are discouraged in the operating
instructions or which are warned against must be
avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and
not for commercial purposes. The warranty shall
be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper
handling, use of force and modifications/repairs
which have not been carried out by one of our
authorised Service centres.
Warranty claim procedure
To ensure quick processing of your case, please
observe the following instructions:
■ Please have the till receipt and the item
number (e.g. IAN 12345) available as proof of
purchase.
■ You will find the item number on the type plate,
an engraving on the front page of the instructions
(bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom
of the appliance.
■ If functional or other defects occur, please
contact the service department listed either by
telephone or by e-mail.
■ You can return a defective product to us free
of charge to the service address that will be
provided to you. Ensure that you enclose the
proof of purchase (till receipt) and information
about what the defect is and when it occurred.

Upute za rukovanje predstavljaju sastavni dio
ovog proizvoda. One sadrže važne napome-
ne za sigurnost, rukovanje i zbrinjavanje. Prije
uporabe uređaja upoznajte se sa svim pripada-
jućim uputama za uporabu i svim sigurnosnim
napomenama. Proizvod koristite isključivo na
opisani način i u navedenim područjima uporabe.
U slučaju predaje proizvoda trećim osobama

Namjenska uporaba
Ovaj uređaj je predviđen isključivo za osobnu
njegu zubiju u okviru domaćinstva. Ovaj je ure-
đaj namijenjen isključivo za uporabu u privatnim

Sigurnosne napomene
UPOZORENJE! OPASNOST OD OZLJEDA!
► Ne dopustite da tekućine prodru u unutrašnjost uređaja, a uređaj
ne uranjajte u vodu, kako biste izbjegli oštećenja.
► Izbjegavajte prodiranje stranih tijela.

► Četkice za zube smiju koristiti djeca i osobe sa smanjenim fizičkim,

nom rukovanju uređajem te razumiju opasnosti koje proizlaze iz
uporabe uređaja.
► Čišćenje i korisničko održavanje ne smiju obavljati djeca, osim ako
su pod nadzorom.
► Djeca se ne smiju igrati uređajem.
► Uređaj ne smije doći u dodir s vrućim površinama. Time biste mogli
nepopravljivo oštetiti uređaj!
► Ne otvarajte uređaj na vlastitu ruku (osim pretinca za bateriju).
Nestručno sastavljanje krije opasnost od ozljeđivanja!
RUKOVANJE BATERIJAMA
► Baterije ne bacajte u vatru. Baterije nemojte ponovno puniti.
Postoji opasnost od eksplozije i od ozljeđivanja!
► Nikada ne otvarajte baterije i nikada ih nemojte zavarivati ili lemiti.
Postoji opasnost od eksplozije i od ozljeđivanja!
► U redovnim vremenskim razmacima kontrolirajte baterije. Baterije,
koje cure, mogu uzrokovati oštećenje uređaja.
► Ako uređaj duže vrijeme ne koristite, izvadite bateriju.

RUKOVANJE BATERIJAMA
► Kod iscurjelih baterija koristite zaštitne rukavice. Pretinac za
baterije i baterijske kontakte očistite pomoću suhe krpe.
► Baterije ne smiju dospjeti u dječje ruke. Djeca bi baterije mogla
staviti u usta i progutati. Ukoliko dođe do gutanja baterije, neizo-
stavno mora biti zatražena liječnička pomoć.
OPASNOST – STRUJNI UDAR!
Oprez! Upozorenje: Mogućnost strujnog udara!
Ne otvarati kućište proizvoda!
Pripreme
Odvrnite poklopac pretinca za baterije 5.
1) Umetnite baterije u skladu s polaritetom
navedenim u pretincu za baterije.
2) Ponovno zavrnite poklopac pretnica za
baterije 5.
3) Odaberite naljepnicu i nalijepite je na prednju
stranu uređaja.
4) Prije prve uporabe novu glavu četkice 1
očistite čistom vodom.
Postavljanje/skidanje glave
četkice
■ Nataknite glavu četkice 1laganim zakretnim
pokretom u smjeru suprotnom od smjera kazaljke
na satu na pogonsku osovinu ručnog dijela
uređaja 4.
■ Za skidanje glavu četkice 1lagano zakrenite
u smjeru kazaljke na satu i istovremeno povucite
prema gore.
NAPOMENA
Koristite isključivo originalne glave s četkicom,
kako biste spriječili oštećenje uređaja.
(Rezervne glave četkice vidi poglavlje „Naruči-
vanje rezervnih dijelova“)
Pranje zubiju
Uređaj nije prikladan za djecu mlađu od
3 godine.
UPOZORENJE!
U početku uslijed neuobičajenog nadraživanja
može doći u manjoj mjeri do krvarenja desni,
što predstavlja normalnu pojavu. Ukoliko to
potraje duže od dva tjedna, trebali biste za
savjet upitati Vašeg zubara.
1) Glavu četkice 1nataknite na pogonsku
osovinu ručnog dijela uređaja 4.
2) Četkicu navlažite pod mlazom tekuće vode.
3) Nanesite nešto paste za zube na vlažnu
četkicu.
NAPOMENA
Uređaj međutim uključite tek kada se četkica
nalazi u ustima, kako biste izbjegli rasprskavanje.
4) Okrenite pješčani sat 6i pritisnite tipku za
uključivanje 2.

5) Čeljust podijelite u četiri dijela (kvadranta):
gore lijevo, gore desno, dolje desno i dolje
lijevo.
6) Započnite u jednom od kvadranata:
Prislonite glavu četkice 1na zubno meso, a
zatim četkicom s desni prijeđite prelp zuba.
Tako postupite sa unutrašnjom stranom kao
i sa vanjskom stranom zuba. Za svaki zub
iznova krenite postavljanjem četkice na desni.
Ne zaboravite na stražnju stranu zadnjeg
kutnjaka.
Za čišćenje desni pomičite rotirajuću četkicu
uz blagi pritisak preko desni.
7) Nakon 30 sekundi prijeđite nasljedeći kvadrant.
Sva četiri kvadranta očistite istom tehnikom.
8) Nakon otprilike 2 minute, pijesak u pješča-
nom satu 6će isteći, čime pokazuje da je
isteklo vrijeme čišćenja od 2 minute koje pre-
poručuju zubari.
9) Pritisnite tipku za isključivanje 3. Četkica
prestaje s radom.
10) Zatim izvadite četkicu za zube iz usta.
11) Glavu četkice 1nakon uporabe temeljito
očistite pod mlazom tekuće vode.
12) Skinite glavu četkice 1s ručnog dijela
uređaja 4.
U svrhu čišćenja pogonske osovine i ručnog
dijela uređaja 4iste nakratko stavite pod
mlaz tekuće vode. Ručni dio uređaja 4pritom
držite tako da pogonska osovina pokazuje
ukoso prema dolje.
Čišćenje i održavanje
POZOR! OPASNOST OD OŠTEĆENJA!
Ručni dio uređaja 4nikada ne uranjajte
u vodu ili druge tekućine!
► Ne upotrebljavajte nikakva sredstva za či-
šćenje ili otapala. Ista mogu oštetiti plastičnu
površinu uređaja.
1) Skinite glavu četkice 1s ručnog dijela uređa-
ja 4. Glave četkice 1nakon uporabe teme-
ljito očistite pod mlazom tekuće vode.
Preporučamo čišćenje glava četkice 1u
tekućini za čišćenje proteza, i to u razmacima
od ca. 2–4 tjedna. Nakon ca. 3 mjeseca, a
najkasnije kada se čekinje počnu savijati pre-
ma vani, trebali biste početi koristiti novu glavu
četkice 1.
2) U svrhu čišćenja pogonske osovine i ručnog
dijela uređaja 4iste nakratko stavite pod
mlaz tekuće vode. Ručni dio uređaja 4
pritom držite tako da pogonska osovina
pokazuje ukoso prema dolje.

Zbrinjavanje
Uređaj nikako ne smijete ba-
cati u obični kućni otpad. Ovaj
proizvod podliježe europskoj
direktivi 2012/19/EU.
Uređaj zbrinite preko autoriziranog poduzeća za
zbrinjavanje ili preko Vaše komunalne ustanove
za zbrinjavanje otpada. Poštujte aktualno važeće
propise. U slučaju dvojbe obratite se mjesnom po-
duzeću za zbrinjavanje otpada.
O mogućnostima zbrinjavanja dotra-
jalog proizvoda možete se raspitati
kod vaše općinske ili gradske uprave.
Zbrinjavanje baterija/akumulatora
Baterije/akumulatori ne smiju se zbrinja-
vati zajedno s kućnim otpadom. Svaki
potrošač ima zakonsku obavezu bateri-
je/akumulatore predati na sabirnom mjestu svoje
općine/svog kvarta, ili u trgovini. Svrha ove obve-
ze je da se baterije/akumulatore zbrinjava na na-
čin neškodljiv za okoliš. Baterije/akumulatore vra-
tite isključivo u ispražnjenom stanju.
Ambalaža se sastoji od materijala
neškodljivih za okoliš koji se mogu
zbrinuti preko mjesnih ispostava za
recikliranje.
Pakiranje zbrinite na ekološki ispra-
van način. Pazite na oznake na ra-
zličitim ambalažnim materijalima i
po potrebi ih zbrinite odvojeno.
Materijali ambalaže označeni su kraticama (a) i
brojkama (b) sljedećeg značenja: 1–7: Plastika,
20–22: Papir i karton, 80–98: Kompozitni ma-
terijali.

Za ovaj uređaj odobrava se jamstvo u trajanju od
3 godine od datuma kupnje. U slučaju nedostata-
ka ovoga proizvoda, Vama pripadaju zakonska
prava na teret prodavača proizvoda. U nastavku
izloženo jamstvo ne ograničava ova zakonska
prava.
Uvjeti jamstva
Jamstveni rok započinje danom kupnje. Molimo
Vas da dobro sačuvate originalni račun. Ovaj
dokument je potreban kao dokaz o kupnji.
Ako u roku od tri godine od dana kupnje ovog
proizvoda dođe do greške u materijalu ili izradi,
proizvod ćemo - prema našem izboru - besplatno
popraviti ili zamijeniti. Za takvo ispunjenje jamstve-
ne obaveze potrebno je unutar trogodišnjeg roka
uređaj s nedostatkom i dokaz o kupnji (račun)
predočite i pismeno ukratko opisati u čemu se
sastoji greška proizvoda i kada se pojavila.
Ako je kvar pokriven našim jamstvom, poslat

kom ili zamjenom proizvoda ne započinje novi
jamstveni rok.
Jamstveni rok i zakonsko pravo u sluča-
ju nedostataka
Korištenje prava na jamstvo ne produžuje jam-
stveni rok. To vrijedi i za zamijenjene i popravljene
dijelove. Štete i nedostatke koji eventualno postoje
već prilikom kupnje treba javiti neposredno nakon
raspakiranja. Nakon isteka jamstvenog roka
izvršeni popravci se naplaćuju.

Opseg jamstva
Uređaj je pažljivo proizveden sukladno strogim
smjernicama u pogledu kvalitete i prije isporuke
brižljivo provjeren.
Ovo jamstvo vrijedi za greške u materijalu i izradi.
Jamstvo ne obuhvaća dijelove proizvoda koji su
izloženi normalnom trošenju i stoga se mogu sma-
trati potrošnim dijelovima, niti oštećenja lomljivih
dijelova, npr. prekidača, baterija, kalupa za peče-
nje ili dijelova izrađenih od stakla.
Ovo jamstvo propada ako je proizvod oštećen, i
ako nije stručno korišten ili servisiran. Za stručno
korištenje proizvoda potrebno je točno poštivati
sve naputke navedene u uputama za uporabu.
Uporabne namjene i radnje, koje se u uputama
ne preporučuju ili na koje se upozorava, obave-
zno se moraju izbjegavati.
Proizvod je namijenjen isključivo za privatnu,
nekomercijalnu uporabu. Jamstvo prestaje vrijediti
u slučaju zloporabe, nenamjenskog korištenja, pri-
mjene sile i zahvata na uređaju koje nije obavila
za to ovlaštena podružnica servisa.
Realizacija u slučaju jamstvenog
zahtjeva
Kako bismo zajamčili brzu obradu Vašeg zahtje-
va, molimo slijedite sljedeće napomene:
■ Molimo Vas da za sve upite u pripravnosti
držite blagajnički račun i broj artikla (npr. IAN
12345) kao dokaz o kupnji.
■ Broj artikla možete pronaći na tipskoj pločici
u obliku gravure, na naslovnoj stranici Vaših
uputa (dolje lijevo) ili u obliku naljepnice na
stražnjoj ili donjoj strani.
■ Ako dođe do smetnji u radu ili drugih nedosta-
taka, najprije telefonski ili preko elek-
tronske pošte kontaktirajte servisni odjel
naveden u nastavku.
■ Proizvod registriran kao neispravan onda
možete zajedno s priloženim dokazom o kupnji
(blagajnički račun) i s opisom nedostatka i
kada se pojavio, besplatno poslati na dobive-
nu adresu servisa.
