General
ThisManualhasbeenpreparedtoassistyouinthecor-
rectprocedureforrunning-in,driving,operatingandfor
themaintenanceofyournewtractor.Yourtractor,which
isdesignedtopowerandpropelitself,isintendedforuse
innormalandcustomaryagriculturalapplications.
ReadthisManualcarefullyandkeepitinaconvenient
placeforfuturereferences.Ifatanytimeyourequiread-
viceconcerningyourtractor,donothesitatetocontact
yourAuthorisedDealer.Hehascompanytrainedper-
sonnel,genuinemanufacturers’partsandthenecessary
equipmenttocarryoutallyourservicerequirements.
Yourtractorhasbeendesignedandbuilttogivemaxi-
mumperformance,economyandeaseofoperationun-
derawidevarietyofoperatingconditions.Priortodeliv-
ery,thetractorwascarefullyinspected,bothatthefactory
andbyyourdealertoensurethatitreachesyouinbest
condition.Tomaintainthisconditionandtrouble-freeop-
eration,itisimportantthattheroutineservices,asspec-
iedinchapter-7ofthismanual,arecarriedoutatthe
recommendedintervals.
Cleaningthetractor
Whilecleaningthetractor,particularlywhenusingahigh
pressuretractorwashingequipmentprecautionhasto
betakentosafeguardtheelectroniccomponentsand
theelectricalconnections.Thepressuregeneratedby
someofthesemachinesissuchthatcompleteprotection
againstwateringresscannotbeguaranteed.While
washingthetractor,usingahighpressurewashingma-
chine,donotstandtooclosetothetractorandavoid
directingthejetatelectricalconnections,breathers,
seals,llercaps,etc.Neverdirectacoldwaterjetata
hotengineorexhaust.
Safety
Chapter-2includesthelistofprecautionstobeobserved
toensureyoursafetyandsafetyofothers.Readthe
safetyprecautionsandfollowtheadviceofferedbefore
operatingthetractor
First50hourservice
Afteryouhaveoperatedthetractorfor50hours,takeyour
tractor,togetherwithwarrantybooklettoyourdealer.He
willthenperformthemanufacturerrecommended50hour
serviceandcompletetheservicereport.Ensurethecom-
pletionofthecouponandsignatureofservicemanageror
thedealer.
Serviceparts
Itshouldbepointedoutthatgenuinepartshavebeen
examinedandapprovedbythecompany.Theinstallation
andusageof‘non-genuine’productscanhavenegative
effectsuponthedesigncharacteristicsofyourtractorand
therebyaffectitssafety.Thecompanyisnotliablefor
anydamagecausedbytheuseof‘non-genuine’partsand
accessories.
OnlyGenuineNewHollandreplacementpartsshouldbe
used.Useofnon-genuinepartsmayinvalidatelegalap-
provalsassociatedwiththisproduct.
Itisprohibitedtocarryoutanymodicationsinthetractor
unlessspecicallyauthorised,inwriting,bytheservice
departmentofthecompany.
Warranty
Yourtractoriswarrantedaccordingtothecurrentleg-
islationinourcountryandwithcontractualagreements
reachedwiththedealeratthetimeofsale.However,the
warrantyisnolongervalidiftherulesandinstructionsfor
theuseandmaintenanceofthetractordescribedinthis
manualarenotobserved.Formoredetailsonwarranty,
pleasereferwarrantybookletsuppliedalongwiththisop-
erator’smanual.

ingeneral.Wherelegislationdoesnotyetrulethetreat-
mentofsomeofthesubstanceswhicharerequiredby
advancedtechnology,commonsenseshouldgovernthe
useanddisposalofproductsofachemicalandpetro-
chemicalnature.
Thefollowingarerecommendationswhichmaybeofas-
sistance:
1.Becomeacquaintedwithandensurethatyouunder-
standtherelativelegislationapplicabletoyourcountry.
2.Wherenolegislationexists,obtaininformationfrom
suppliersofoils,lters,batteries,fuels,cleaningagents,
etc.,withregardtotheireffectonmanandnatureandhow
tosafelystore,useanddisposeofthesesubstances.
Helpfulhints
1.Avoidllingtanksusingopencontainersorinappropri-
atepressurizedfueldeliverysystemswhichmaycause
excessivespillage.
2.Ingeneral,avoidskincontactwithallfuels,oils,acids,
solvents,etc.Mostofthemcontainsubstanceswhichcan
beharmfultoyourhealth
3.Modernoilscontainadditives.Donotburncontami-
natedfuelsandwasteoilsinordinaryheatingsystems.
4.Avoidspillagewhiledrainingoffusedenginecoolant
mixtures,engineoil,gearboxandhydraulicoil,brake
uids,etc.Donotmixdrainedbrakeuidsorfuelswith
lubricants.Storethemsafelyuntiltheycanbedisposed
ofinaproperwaytocomplywithlocallegislationand
availableresources.
5.Moderncoolantmixtures,i.e.antifreezeandother
additives,shouldbereplacedevery12monthsor1200h.
Theyshouldnotbeallowedtogetintothesoilbutshould
becollectedanddisposedofsafely.
6.Repairanyleaksordefectsintheenginecoolingor
hydraulicsystemimmediately.
7.Donotincreasethepressureinapressurizedcircuit
asthismayleadtothecomponentexplosion.
8.Protecthosesduringweldingaspenetrationofweld
splattermayburnaholeorweakenthem,causingthe
lossofoils,coolant,etc.

besidesyou.Donotexceedthelegalspeedlimitset

Makesurethelightsareadjustedtopreventblinding
thedriverofanoncomingvehicle.
4.Reducespeedbeforeturningorapplyingthebrakes.
