Introduction
This Bulletin is being issued to provide notification of the planned retirement and Manufacture
Discontinue of the following:
•Digital Mobility Handset 7420 product
Prior to the Last Time Order Date, Nortel strongly encourages Customers to purchase Digital
Mobility Handset 7430 and 7440 products which offer improved functionality.

Definition
Manufacture Discontinue (MD) – This notice serves as formal communication of
Nortel’s intent to MD the product(s) noted. No further orders will be accepted as of
the Last Time Order Date shown above and no further shipments made after the
product has been discontinued. The MD of these products should not be interpreted
as the discontinuance of any Nortel agreements to support the existing field
population. Services to the existing product base will continue to be provided until the
End of Life (EOL) date shown above.

and BCM50 R2.0.
