Check regularly to make sure the knobs are fully tightened before using. Use a mild detergent and warm
water to clean and thoroughly dry with soft cloth. Regularly inspect your item and its parts for any corrosion,
breakage, compression, or wear. DO NOT use if product is damaged.

• DO NOT use commode inside shower. This product may result in damage if exposed to excessive moisture.
• DO NOT use commode without first reading and understanding these instructions and warnings.
• DO NOT use if any parts are cracked, warped, or damaged.
• Ensure all parts are correctly assembled and all screws and nuts are secure and fully tightened before using.
• Ensure all brakes are properly engaged before attempting to sit down on or stand up from unit.

Insert the backrest into the vertical
tubing of chair frame.

Pull up on the arms of backrest until the push pins
on arms into designated holes (pull on black knob to
release armrest into downward position).
Jale los brazos del respaldo hacia arriba hasta

4Insert the 2 black knob screws into the screw holes
where the backrest frame meets the seat frame.
Tighten and test for stability.

Place the commode seat with bucket onto the chair frame.
Push down on commode seat until the seat snaps onto frame
and stabilizes. (Black seat pad may be placed on top of
commode seat).
To remove commode bucket, slide out bucket towards the rear
of the seat.
Coloque el asiento cómodo con cubeta sobre el marco. Empuje
el asiento cómodo hacia abajo hasta que se encaje al marco y

Set chair frame on flat surface. Spread frame apart by pulling on the longer sides of the frame. Pull apart until
the 3 gold push buttons are fully engaged (located in the 3 cross bars). Test for stability and make sure all
push pins are fully engaged.
Coloque el marco de la silla en una superficie a nivel. Para abrir el marco, jale los tubos más largos del marco.

Foot Rests and Heel Strap
To put on footrests: Place both top and bottom pin holes of footrest onto the designated pins towards the side (90
degrees from the front of the chair), swing the footrest towards the front until in clicks into place.
To take off footrests: Push the small black lever and allow the footrests to swing out 90 degrees, lift directly upwards
to remove.
Heel Strap: To install, wrap the ends of the strap around the leg of each installed foot rest. Secure each side of strap
by connecting the Velcro pieces.
Reposapiés y Correa para reposar talones
Para ensamblar los reposapiés: Meta los pasadores (colocados a 90 grados de la parte delantera de la silla) dentro
de ambos agujeros (de arriba y abajo) del reposapiés, gire los reposapiés hacia el frente hasta que hagan clic.
Para quitar los reposapiés: Presione la palanca negra y permita que los reposapiés se giren 90 grados, levante los

Brakes
To lock brakes: push down the silver metal tab on both sides of back wheels (make sure brakes are locked before
sitting or attempting to stand up).
To unlock brakes: pop the silver tab up by pressing down on the smaller raised tab.

This warranty does not cover problems due to user negligence, misuse of the product, failure to adhere
to product instructions, or normal wear and tear. Items that have been subject to negligent abuse,
modified without prior written authorization are not covered within this warranty.
For warranty service, please contact the dealer from whom you purchased your NOVA
product. In the event that you do not receive satisfactory service, please call us directly at the number
on the bottom front of this sheet. Be prepared to indicate, the nature of the defect, the product serial
number, and the name and location of where you purchased the product. You will also be required to
provide a receipt of your purchase. Do not return any products to our office without prior consent.
