ToSitDown
1. Engagetherearwheellocksbypushingdownonthebrakehandleuntilthebrakeshoepressesfirmlyonthe
wheelandpreventsthechairfromrolling.
2. Flipthefootrestsintoanuprightpositionsothattheusercanstandbetweenthefootrestswiththebackof
theirlegstouchingtheseatupholstery.
3. Frombehindthechairassisttheuserbyslowlyloweringthemintothechair.
ToRisefromSeatedPosition
1. Engagetherearwheellockssothatthewheelsbypushingdownonthebrakehandleuntilthebrakeshoe
pressesfirmlyonthewheelandpreventsthechairfromrolling.
2. Flipbothfootrestsintoanuprightposition.
3. Placebothfeetfirmlyonthegroundandriseslowlyfromthechairwiththeassistanceofacaregiver.
ToTransferfromSeatedPosition
1. Placethechairalongsidethedesiredseatingdevice.
2. Engagetherearwheellockssothatthewheelsbypushingdownonthebrakehandleuntilthebrakeshoe
pressesfirmlyonthewheelandpreventsthechairfromrolling.
3. Releasethearmonthesideofthetransferchair.
4. Flipthebothfootrestsintoanuprightposition.
5. Carefullytransferfromthechairtodesiredseatingareawiththeassistanceofacaregiver.

Wipeallmetalpartsatleastonceaweekusingasoftcloth.Drychairimmediatelyifitisexposedtomoisture.Abrasive
cleanersormaterialswillscratchthesurfaceofthechair.
Tires
Minimalmaintenanceisrequiredforrubbertires.Wipewithadampclothoccasionally.Iftiresbecomecrackedorworn,
replaceimmediately.
FrontCasters
Inspectcastersperiodicallyandlubricatethemwhennecessary.Tolubricate,removetheforkandgreasethecasterbearings.
Removethewheelfromtheforkandgreasethewheelbearings.Thewheelandforkcanbereassembledbytighteningthenuts
untilthereisnoplayremaining,butthewheelrollsfreely.Theforkwillrevolvefreelywhenadjustedcorrectly.Thecasterwill
utterifthenutistoolooseorbedifficulttosteerifthenutistootight.
Wheels
Inspectmonthlyforcorrecttightness.Ifthewheelseemstobelooseorwobbly,releasethelocknutandtightentheaxlebolt.
Leanchairtoonesideandspinadjustedwheeltocheckforcorrectadjustments.
WheelLocks
Wheellocksshouldbecheckedforcorrectlockingactionbeforeactualuse.Pushingthehandlecompletelyforwardactivates
thewheellocks.Ifthewheellocksareworkingcorrectlytheywillbeembeddedintothetireatleast1/8".Toadjustwheel
locks,loosennutoncarriagebolt.Slideclamptowardrearwheeluntillockshoeisembeddedatleast1/8"intoreartirewhen
lockhandleisengaged.Tightennuttosecureintoposition.tenance

andpromptCustomerService(Press1).DONOTusethetransportchairuntilallpartsarereceived.

ToUnfold

Step1:Placethechairuprightonaflatservice(picture1).
Step2:Pivotthelegriggingsfullydownward(picture2).
Step3:Pivotthepushhandlesupwarduntilthepushpinsengageintotheframeofthechair(picture3).




Step4:Tounfoldthechair,standoneithersideandpullupwardonthebackresthandlewhilepushingdownwardon
thesamesidefrontcornerofthechair(picture4).
(Besurethechairisinthecompletelyopenpositionbypushingdownonthetwofrontcornersofthefront
upholstery.)
Step5:Toengagethearmrestspivotthearmsupwardwhileatthesametimepushingdownwardonthesameside
frontcornerofthechair(picture5).
(Pushdownwardonthearmreststomakesurethepushpinisfullyengaged.)
Step6:Unfoldthefootrestsothattheheellooppost(circledinred)isonthetopofthefootrestandinsertthetubes
intotheframesothepushpinslineupwiththeholesinthelegriggingsandtheplasticfootrestsaredirectlyin
frontoftheframeofthechair.
Step7:Squeezethepushpinsandinsertthetubesintothelegriggingstoyourdesiredheight(picture6a).Besurethat
bothpushpinsarefullyinsertedintotheholes(picture6a).Makecertainthatbothfootrestsaresettothe
sameheight(picture6b).
Step8:Removetheplasticfromthewheelsbeforeusing.






ToFold(TransportandStorage)

Step1:Removethefootrestsfromthelegriggingsbypushinginonthepushpinsandpullinguntilfullyremoved
(picture7).
Step2:Releasethearmsbypullingonthereleaseknobsandpivotingthearmsdownward(picture8).
Step3:Standoneithersideofthechairandgraspbothsidesoftheseatupholsteryandpullupward(picture9).














Step4:Pushinwardfromthefrontandrearofthechairuntilitiscompletelyfolded.Swivelthefrontwheelssotheycan
slidebetweentherearframes(picture11).
Step5:Pushdownonthearmreleasebuttonslocatedonthebackofthechairandpivotthepushhandlesdownward
(picture10).
Step6:Pivotlegriggingsupuntiltheyaretouchingtheframeofthechair(picture12a).
