Pursuit Bow Motor Mount Instructions
-Phillips Screwdriver -7/16” Wrench -Drill with 1/4” drill bit
Tools Required:
4. Fasten Quick Release Puck to Large Mount Plate.
4. Secure Motor Mount to Boat
5. Zip Tie Rod Tubes.
For MotorGuide use:
[4] 1¾” Panhead Screws
[4] Thin Lock Nuts
[4] Washers
For MinnKota use:
[4] 2” Flathead Screws
[4] Thin Lock Nuts
[4] Washers
Rest Mount on bow so that the bow is nestled into the plate
groove and slides over eyebolts. Secure using:
For eyebolt holes use:
[2] 1” Washers
[2] Locknuts
For bow hole use:
[1] 1¼” Panhead Bolt
[1] 1” Washer
From inside hull chamber:
[1] Bonded Sealing Washer
[1] Locknut
a. Remove Bow Handle. Rest small motor plate on bow
so that the bow is nestled into the plate groove. Rest
large motor plate on top of small plate and temporarily
insert eyebolts (not shown) into eyebolt holes to keep
plates aligned properly.
bb. Using a 1/4” drill bit, drill out the bow hole, then
temporarily insert a bolt in bow hole to maintain plate
alignment.
a. Measure 9-1/8” from bow hole drilled in step 1 along each
gunwale. Find and mark center point vertically on bow
feature.
b. Using a 1/4” drill bit, drill out the eyebolt holes on port and
starboard side.

3. Install Eye Bolts
a. Cut the zip ties securing the Rod Tubes
inside the Gear Vault to enable access to
bolts.
bb. Insert spacer into eye of eye bolt. Using
5/8” black washers on both sides of the eye
bolt, insert 1” Truss Screw through bolt and
then through eyebolt hole drilled out in step
2. Secure with 1” Bonded Washer - rubber
side to the hull - and locknut. Repeat for both
Eye Bolts. Make sure Eye Bolts are pointed
up up vertically.
Run Zip Ties through the Deck Ring beneath Gear Vault Toggle and around rod tubes. Tighten to snug. Repeat on each
side.
