WARNING- To guard against injury, basic
safety precauons should be observed,

•Switch off all units in the aquarium and
disconnect the power plugs of all units
before reaching into the water or
moving/cleaning the unit.
•CAUTION! Risk of Electric Shock -
Don’t use the unit when there are
people in the water.
•CAUTION! This unit has been
evaluated for use with water only.
•WARNING! To reduce the risk of
electric shock, use only on portable
self-contained fountains.
•DANGER! Never operate the unit
if either the electrical cables or the
housing are defective!
• Do not install or store the appliance
where it will be exposed to the weather

or to temperatures below freezing.
• Do not carry or pull the unit by its
electrical cable.
• Don’t remove the grounding pin from
the plug.
• Don’t use extension cords.
• Don’t aempt to open the pump/motor
enclosure.
• Route cables/hoses such that they are
protected from damage and do not
present a tripping hazard.
• Only open the unit housing or its
aendant components, when this is
explicitly required in the operang
instrucons.
• DANGER! Only carry out work on the
unit that is described in this manual.
If problems cannot be overcome,
please contact an authorised customer
service point or, when in doubt, the
manufacturer.
• Only use original spare parts and
accessories for the unit.
• DANGER! Never carry out technical
modicaons to the unit. Don’t cut the
cord or remove the plug from the cord.
• Power connection cables cannot be
replaced. If a cable is damaged, dispose of
the respective unit or components.
•The impeller unit in the pump contains
a magnet with a strong magnetic field that
may affect the operation of pacemakers
or implantable cardioverter defibrillators
(ICDs). Always keep magnets at least 0.7
ft. away from implanted devices.
Electrical connection
•WARNING! Risk of electric shock – This
unit is supplied with a grounding
conductor and grounding-type attachment
plug. To reduce the risk of electric shock,
be certain that it is connected only to a
properly grounded, grounding-type
receptacle.
•Read and observe all the important
notices on the appliance.
•Only connect the unit if the electrical
data of the unit and the power supply
coincide. The unit data is to be found on

the unit type plate, on the packaging or
in this manual.
• Protect the plug connections from
moisture.
•Only plug the unit into a correctly fitted
socket.
•This appliance has a polarized plug (one
blade is wider than the other). As a
safety feature, this plug will fit in a
polarized outlet only one way. If the plug
does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician. Never use with an
extension cord unless plug can be fully
inserted. Do not attempt to defeat this
safety feature.
•Do have all electrical outlets installed
and serviced by a licensed electrician.
•DANGER! Do disconnect the unit from
the electrical outlet at the first sign of
any problem.
•DANGER! If the plug or receptacle does
get wet, DON’T unplug the cord.
Disconnect the fuse or circuit breaker
that supplies power to the appliance.
Then, unplug and examine for presence
of water in the receptacle.
•DANGER! Don’t pinch, twist or damage
the electrical cord. A minor cut even
if only in the outer shell could allow water
to reach the motor enclosure and damage
the unit. If you notice any damage to the
cord remove the unit and store in a dry
place. Consult any damage to the electrical
cord will void all warranties and could
cause serious electrical shock hazard.

5. Remove the foam filter and rinse in warm
water or replace.
6. Replace the activated carbon.

Warranty
This product is covered by a 36 month
limited warranty by OASE. The limited
warranty period commences on the
original purchase date and covers
material and production defects, or
failure of the product to operate as
specified by OASE during the duration of
the limited warranty period.
This limited warranty does not cover
failure or problems relating to:
− Improper or incorrect installation of the
product (refer to these instructions of use
regarding proper installation);
− Modification of the product in any way
including attempts to repair the product
by someone other than an OASE
authorized repair technician;
− Normal wear and tear (including, but
not limited to, wear and tear related to
pump impellers, filter mats and filter
media in filters, bulbs in lights and UV
water treatment basins);
Failure to observe or follow safety, care and
maintenance instructions as outlined in
these instructions for use or as set forth by
OASE from time to time;
− Defects or damage resulting from
improper treatment;
− Defects or damage resulting from product
misuse (including, but not limited to, non-
observance of the instructions for use).
OASE’s sole liability under this limited
warranty shall be to replace or repair the
product covered by this limited warranty.
OASE shall not be subject to liability for any
consequential damage to any other part of
the water garden, pond, water feature
system, landscape, aquarium, paludarium,
structure or the contents of any structure
where the product is located or used,
construction or part of the construction
where the product is located or used,
including no liability for damage or harm to
fish, animals or water plants in, around or
surrounding the water garden, pond,
aquarium, aquatic systems, paludarium or
water feature system

ou de corps défectueux, il est interdit
d'exploiter l'appareil.
• Poser les câbles de manière à ce qu'ils
soient protégés contre d'éventuels
endommagements et veiller à ce que
personne ne puisse trébucher.
• N'ouvrir le corps de l'appareil ou des
éléments s'y rapportant que si cela est
expressément sollicité dans la noce d'emploi.
• RISQUE ! Exécuter des travaux sur l'appareil
uniquement si ces derniers sont décrits dans la
noce d'emploi. S'il est impossible de remédier
aux problèmes, contacter le SAV agréé ou en
cas de doute le constructeur.

contient un aimant à champ magnétique
puissant qui risque d'avoir un impact sur

défibrillateurs implantés (ICD). Maintenir
une distance d'au moins 0,2 m entre
l'implant et l'aimant.
Raccordement électrique
•AVERTISSEMENT ! Risque de décharge

• Ne brancher l'appareil que lorsque
les caractérisques électriques de
l'appareil et de l'alimentaon électrique
correspondent. Les caractérisques de
l'appareil sont indiquées sur la plaque
signaléque de l'appareil, sur l'emballage
ou dans cee noce d'emploi.
• Protéger les raccordements à che contre
l'humidité.
• Raccorder l'appareil uniquement à une
prise installée de manière réglementaire.
• Cet appareil est muni d'une che
polarisée (une lame est plus large que
l'autre). Par mesure de sécurité, cee
che peut être insérée dans une prise
polarisée que d'une seule manière. Si la
che n'entre pas dans la prise, retournez‐
la. Si elle ne rentre toujours pas, contactez
un électricien qualié. Ne jamais uliser
avec une rallonge à moins que plug
peut être enèrement insérée. Ne pas
essayer de vaincre cee caractérisque
de sécurité.
• N'ont toutes les prises de courant installé

petite coupure même si ce n'est que dans
la coque extérieure l'eau pourrait atteindre
le boîtier du moteur et endommager
l'appareil. Si vous remarquez un endommager
le cordon d'enlever l'appareil et la ranger
dans un endroit sec. Consulter tout
dommage à la rallonge électrique annulera
toute garantie et pourrait entraîner de
sérieux risque de choc électrique.
