•Antes deutilizarelhervidor por primeravez,llénelocon agualimpiahastaelnivelmáximoyhiérvala.
Tire el aguayrepitalaoperación.
•El hervidor siempre debeestardesenchufadoantesdellenarlooañadiragua.
•Llene elhervidor con lacantidaddeaguaque desee. Nolollene demasiadoyaque podríaderramarse o
gotear. Elindicadordenivelmáximodeagualeayudaamedirlacantidadcorrecta.Puedellenarel
hervidor através delpicooquitandolatapa.Noolvidecerrarlatapadespués dellenarla.Sinoesasí,el
hervidor no se apagaráautomáticamenteunavezque hayahervidoel agua.
•Noutiliceelaparatoconmenos de0.3Litros deagua(indicador “min”) paraprevenirque elhervidor se
quedesinaguamientrasestaencendido.
•Nosobrepase lamarcadenivel "MAX"en el indicador denivel deagua(1.0litros deagua).

HERVIDOR
•Coloque labase sobre unasuperficiesecayplana.

Se encenderáun indicador luminoso.
•Unavezque hayahervidoelagua,elhervidor se apagaráautomáticamente. Acontinuación dejeque el
hervidor se enfríedurante1minuto. Elaguase puedevolver allevaraebullición pulsandoelinterruptor
denuevo. Duranteeltiempo derefrigeración, nofuerceelinterruptor on/off (encendido/apagado)ala
posición ON(encendido),yaque estopuededañarel mecanismodefuncionamiento.
•Noretire el hervidor delabase sinapagarloprimero.
•Recuerde, si no deseavolver ahervirel agua,apague el hervidor.

MANTENIMIENTODEELHERVIDOR

maneranaturalyque seadhiere principalmentealelementocalefactoryreducelacapacidadpara
calentar.
•Lacantidad decal depositada(ypor tantolanecesidad delimpiarodescalcificarel hervidor)dependeen
granmedidadeladurezadel aguaydelafrecuenciacon laque se utilice.
•Lacalnoes perjudicialparalasalud.Pero sise vierteen labebidaestropeaelsabor delamisma.Por lo
que el hervidor se debe descalcificardemaneraperiódica,tal ycomose indicaacontinuación.
DESCALCIFICACIÓN
•Limpielacal del hervidor con regularidad.Con un uso normal,al menos dosveces al año.
•Llene elhervidor hastaelindicador "MAX"con unamezclaquecontengaunapartedevinagreydos
partes deagua.Enciéndaloyespere hastaque elhervidor se apague automáticamentedespués dellevar
lamezclaaebullición.
•Dejelamezclaen el hervidor durantelanoche.

INSTRUCTION FORUSE
•Beforefirstuse fill the kettlewithcleanwater tomaximumcapacityandboil．Discardthe water
and repeat the process．
•The kettleshould alwaysbe unplugged when filling or adding water．
•Fill the kettlewithwater todesiredlevel．Donotoverfill or there will be ariskofspillageor
spitting．The water levelindicator will assistyou tomeasure the correctamount．Youcanfill the
kettleviathe spoutor after openingthelid．Donotforgettoclose the lid after
filling otherwise the kettlewill not automaticallyswitchoff after use．
•Donotfill withlessthan0.3liters ofwater（to“min”indication）topreventthe kettlerunning
drywhileoperating．
•Donot fill withmore than1.0liters ofwater（to“max”indication)．
•Anautomaticsafetycut-outhasbeen fittedfor protection againstoverheating it will operateif
the kettleisswitchedonwhen containinginsufficientwater．Alwaysensure the water insidethe
kettlecovers the minimummarkonthe water levelindicator gauge．Iftheautomaticsafetycut-
outhasoperated switchthe kettleoff disconnectfromthe power outletandallowthe kettle
tocool downfor 5to10 minutes．The refill withand switchon the kettlewill workasnormal.
KETTLE
•Placethe power base on adry,flatsurface. Placethe kettleon the power base. The electrical
connection will be madeautomaticallyasthekettleslides ontothe power base. Plugthe cordset
on the power base. The electricalconnection willbe madeautomaticallyasthe kettleslides onto
the base.

•Plugthe cordsetintoanearthedpower socketandswitchon bydepressingthe switchofthe
kettletothe “on”position.
•When the water hasboiled,the kettlewillswitchoff automatically,afterallowingthe kettleto
cooldownfor 1minute, the water canbe broughtbacktothe boil bypushingthe switchbackto
the “on”position.Duringthe coolingdowntimedonotforcethe on/off switchintothe “on”
position asthiscandamagethe operating mechanism.
•Donot remove the kettlefrom the power base without switching off first.
•Remember, ifyou donotwish tore-boil the kettle, switchit off.
•The kettlemaybe switchedoff manuallyatanytimebysettingthe on/off switchintothe “off”
position.
•Topour water, lift the kettlefrom the power base and pour.
HOW TOCARE FORYOURKETTLE
•Wipe the exterior ofthe kettlewithasoft,dampclothor sponge. Removestubborn spotswitha
clothmoistened withmild liquid detergent.Donot use abrasive scouring padsor powers.
•Never immerse the kettleinwater or other liquids.
•Fromtimetotime, dependedon the nature ofyour water supply,aboiledscaledeposit is
naturallyformedandcanbe foundmostlyadheredtothe heatingelement,thus reducingthe
heating efficiency.
•The amountofboiledscaledeposited(andsubsequentlytheneedtocleanorrescale)largely
dependson the water hardness inyour areathe frequencywithwhichthe kettleisused.
•Boiledscaleisnotharmfultoyour health. Butifpouredintoyour beverage, it cangive apowdery
tastetoyourdrink.Therefore, the kettleshould be descaled periodicallyasindicated below.
DESCALING
•Descalekettleregularly.Withnormaluse:atleasttwiceayear. Fill the kettleup to“max”witha
mixture ofone partordinaryvinegarandtwopartswater. Switchon andwait for the applianceto
switchoff automatically.
•Let the mixture remaininsidethe kettleovernight.Discard the mixture the next morning.
•Fill the kettlewithcleanwater up to“max”markandboil again. Discardthe boiledwater to
remove anyremaining scaleand vinegar.
•Rinse the insideofthe kettlewithcleanwater.
Disposal of oldelectrical appliances.
TheEuropeandirective2002/96/EConWasteElectricaland ElectronicEquipment(WEEE), requires
thatold household electricalappliancesmustnotbedisposed ofinthenormalunsorted municipal

•Avantlapremière utilisation, remplissezlabouilloire avecdel’eaupropreaumaximumdesa
capacitéet faites-labouillir. Jetezl’eauet répétezl’opération.
•Débrancheztoujourslabouilloire pour laremplirou ajouter del’eau.
