•Antes deutilizarelhervidor por primeravez,llénelocon agualimpiahastaelnivelmáximoy
hiérvala.Tire el aguayrepitalaoperación.
•El hervidor siempre debeestardesenchufadoantesdellenarlooañadiragua.

•Llene elhervidor conlacantidaddeaguaquedesee. Nolollene demasiadoyaquepodría
derramarseogotear. Elindicador denivelmáximodeagualeayudaamedirlacantidad
correcta.Puedellenarelhervidor através delpicooquitandolatapa.Noolvidecerrarlatapa
después dellenarla.Sinoes así,elhervidorno seapagaráautomáticamenteunavezque haya
hervidoel agua.
•Noutiliceelaparatoconmenos de0.5Litros deagua(indicador “min”) paraprevenirque el
hervidor se quedesinaguamientrasestaencendido.
•Nosobrepase lamarcadenivel "MAX"en el indicador denivel deagua(1,7litros deagua).
•Elhervidordisponededesconexión deseguridadautomáticacomoprotección contra

HERVIDOR
•Coloque labase sobre unasuperficiesecayplana.

•Noretire el hervidor delabase sinapagarloprimero.

MANTENIMIENTODEELHERVIDOR

calcáreo demaneranaturalyque se adhiere principalmentealelementocalefactor yreducela
capacidad paracalentar.

dependeen granmedidadeladurezadel aguaydelafrecuenciacon laque se utilice.

DESCALCIFICACIÓN
•Limpielacal del hervidor con regularidad.Con un uso normal,al menos dosveces al año.
•Llene elhervidor hastaelindicador "MAX"con unamezclaque contengaunapartedevinagre
ydos partes deagua.Enciéndaloyespere hastaque elhervidor se apague automáticamente
después dellevarlamezclaaebullición.
•Dejelamezclaen el hervidor durantelanoche.
•A lamañanasiguiente, tire lamezcla.
•Llene el hervidor con agualimpiahastael nivel “MAX”ylléveladenuevo aebullición.

INSTRUCTION FORUSE
•Before firstuse fill the kettlewithcleanwater tomaximumcapacityandboil．Discardthe
water and repeat the process．
•The kettleshould alwaysbe unplugged when filling or adding water．
•Fill the kettlewithwater todesiredlevel．Donotoverfill or there will beariskofspillageor
spitting．The water levelindicator will assistyou tomeasure the correctamount．Youcanfill

the kettleviathespoutor after openingthelid．Donotforgettoclose the lid after
filling otherwise the kettlewill not automaticallyswitchoff after use．
•Donotfill withless than0.5liters ofwater（to“min”indication）topreventthe kettlerunning
drywhileoperating．
•Donot fill withmore than1.7liters ofwater（to“max”indication)．
•Anautomaticsafetycut-outhasbeen fittedforprotection againstoverheating it will operate
ifthe kettleisswitchedonwhen containinginsufficientwater．Alwaysensure the water inside
the kettlecovers theminimummarkon thewater levelindicator gauge．Ifthe automatic
safetycut-outhasoperated switchthe kettleoff disconnectfromthepower outletand
allowthe kettletocooldownfor 5to10minutes．The refill withandswitchon the kettle
will workasnormal.
KETTLE:
•Placethe power base on adry,flatsurface. Placethe kettleon the powerbase. The electrical
connection will be madeautomaticallyasthe kettleslides ontothe powerbase. Plugthe cord
seton the powerbase.The electricalconnection will be madeautomaticallyasthekettleslides
ontothe base.
•Plugthecordsetintoanearthedpower socketandswitchon bydepressingthe switchofthe
kettletothe “on”position.
•When the water hasboiled,the kettlewillswitchoff automatically,after allowingthe kettleto
cooldownfor 1minute,the water canbe broughtbacktothe boil bypushingthe switchback
tothe “on”position. Duringthe coolingdowntimedonotforcethe on/off switchintothe
“on”position asthiscandamagethe operating mechanism.
•Donot remove the kettlefrom the power base without switching off first.
•Remember, ifyou donotwish tore-boil the kettle, switchit off.
•The kettlemaybe switchedoff manuallyatanytimebysettingthe on/off switchintothe “off”
position.
•Topour water, lift the kettlefrom the power base and pour.
HOW TOCARE FORYOURKETTLE
•Wipe the exterior ofthe kettlewithasoft,dampclothor sponge. Remove stubborn spotswith
aclothmoistened withmild liquid detergent.Donot use abrasive scouring padsor powers.
•Never immerse the kettleinwater or other liquids.
•Fromtimetotime, dependedon the nature ofyour watersupply,aboiledscaledeposit is
naturallyformedandcanbe foundmostlyadheredtothe heatingelement,thus reducingthe
heating efficiency.
•The amountofboiledscaledeposited(andsubsequentlythe needtocleanor rescale)largely
dependson the water hardness inyour areathe frequencywithwhichthe kettleisused.

•Boiledscaleisnotharmfultoyour health. Butifpouredintoyour beverage, it cangive a
powderytastetoyourdrink.Therefore, the kettleshould be descaledperiodicallyasindicated
below.
DESCALING
•Descalekettleregularly.Withnormal use: at least twiceayear. Fill the kettleup to“max”witha
mixture ofone partordinaryvinegarandtwopartswater. Switchon andwait for the appliance
toswitchoff automatically.
•Let the mixture remaininsidethe kettleovernight.Discard the mixture the next morning.
•Fill the kettlewithcleanwater up to“max”markandboil again. Discardthe boiledwater to
remove anyremaining scaleand vinegar.
•Rinse the insideofthe kettlewithcleanwater.
Disposal of oldelectrical appliances.
TheEuropeandirective2002/96/EConWasteElectricaland ElectronicEquipment (WEEE),
requiresthatoldhousehold electricalappliancesmustnotbedisposedofin thenormal

•Nedépassezparlamarque «MAX »présentesur l’indicateur duniveaud’eau(1,7litres d’eau)

•Undispositifd’arrêtautomatique aétémisen placepour protéger delasurchauffe. Ilse
mettraenroutesilabouilloire estallumée avecune quantitéd’eauinsuffisante. S’il se
