Keep carefully in case it is needed!
This electric mattress heater is a high-quality product designed to last for many years if it is properly used and
cared for. Read the following instructions carefully to prevent damage or danger from incorrect use. Keep
the instructions so that you can refer back to individual points when necessary.
If you let somebody else use the blanket, you must be sure to let them have the instruction on use.
This appliance is not intended for medical use in hospitals.
zPlease read carefully and follow the instructions.
zUse the device only as an electric mattress heater.
zOnly connect to the voltage shown on the rating plate.
zThe electric mattress heater must not be used when folded or crumpled.
zDo not use when folded.
zDo not use when crumpled.
zDo not treat the electric mattress heater as a sheet or tuck it in under the
mattress.
zDo not use the blanket for persons who cannot move without help, small
children, persons who cannot feel heat, or animals. Persons who can
feel heat to some extent may only use the blanket with supervision.
zDo not prick it with needles or other sharp objects.
zDo not tug or twist the power lead.
zDo not expose the switch or power lead to moisture or liquids.
zIf the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or similar qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
zDo not use the electric mattress heater when it is damp or wet.
zThe device may not be switched on using a time switch.
zAvoid folding the blanket tightly.
zWhile the blanket is switched on,
-Do not place any large or heavy objects on it such as suitcases, etc.,
-Do not place any source of heat on it such as hot water bottles,
heating pads or such like
-Do not allow the switch to be concealed under blankets, pillows or the like and lie on the
electric mattress heater.
zDo not fold the blanket when hot.
zPlease check the blanket and power lead frequently to look for signs of wear or damage. If you
find evidence of wear or a defect, or the blanket has been used incorrectly, return it to us for
checking and any necessary repairs.
zIf you do not use the blanket daily, remove the plug from the socket and take the blanket off
your bed. Keep it dry until it is taken out for use again – the original bag is an ideal place to
store it.
zThe setting of the control unit for all night use.
zDo not use on an adjustable bed or if used on an adjustable bed, check that the blanket or cord
cannot become trapped or rucked.
zThis blanket is not to be used by young children unless the controls have been preset by a
parent or guardian or the child has been instructed and how to operate safely.
zWhen storing the appliance, allow it to cool down before folding.
zDo not crease the appliance by placing items on top of it during storage.

SWITCHING ON
1. Spread the blanket out flat on the mattress ensuring there are no folds with the lower edge is at the
bottom of the bed and the power lead towards the head end. Then lay a sheet over it.
take care not to allow any folds or kinds to develop where mattress sections abut. Each time the blanket
is used please check that it is spread absolutely flat on the mattress. Then place a blanket or duvet on
top of the electric mattress heater and covering sheet to prevent loss of heat.
2. Push the flat plug of the blanket into the socket.
The blanket may only be used with 220-240 Volts a.c.
Switch on the blanket using the hand-operated switch.
3 = maximum warmth, warm-up time approx. 30 minutes. The indicator light will keep on and
won’t flash
2 = moderate warmth, the indicator light will flash
1 = minimum warmth, the indicator light will weak flash (setting 1 is recommended for all
night use.)
0 = OFF, the blanket is disconnected from the power supply.
The indicator light lights up during the heating phase: now you can experience the pleasant
warmth. After about 120 minutes the blanket silently switches off automatically.
ADDITIONAL NOTE:
The electronic components inside the switch may lead to a slight warming of the switch when the blanket is on.
Therefore the switch must not be covered or placed on top of the electric mattress heater when it is in
operation.
You should not reply on using your hands to gauge the blanket’s temperature because they are much les
sensitive to heat than the surface of the human body. A temperature, which may feel tepid to your hand, may
feel unpleasantly hot on your body.
The blanket must be covered by a duvet, for example, because otherwise there will be a high loss of heat and
the blanket cannot warm up properly.
Qualified persons using original replacement parts may only undertake repairs to the electric mattress heater.
Repairs carried out by unqualified persons may cause substantial risk to the user.
CLEANING AND CARE
The electric mattress heaters should be kept clean because it must not be laundered or dry-cleaned.
Small stains can be removed with a cloth or a damp sponge, perhaps using some mind liquid detergent.
Before cleaning the blanket, always remove the plug from the power socket. The blanket must not become
wet. If it gets damp it needs natural drying in the air.
Never switch on the blanket to dry it.
RETAIN FOR FUTURE USE
Examine the appliance frequently for signs of wear or damage. If there are such sign or if the appliance has been misused,
return it to the supplier prior to nay further use.
