1. Measurements and user’s profile will not be erased during baery replacement.
2. Be sure that the polarity of the baery is set properly.

Before Using the Monitor
1.6 Introducon
Product descripon: This unit is measuring the user’s body weight and to esmate the value of
the Bio-Impedance body composion.
Product use: Body Fat, Visceral Fat, BMI, BMR, Muscle Rate, Body Age and Body Weight.
Measuring Principle: Biological impedance Analysis (BIA) works together with such as gender,
height, weight, age, other relevant factors, conversion of the user’s body
composion to determine whether the body is obese.
(If input profile is incorrect, it would result in incorrect measurement values.)
Recommended Measurement Times: It is recommended to use this unit in the same
environment and daily circumstances.

1. People with an electronic medical implant, such as a pacemaker, should not use a Body Fat Monitor
as it passes a low-level electrical signal through the body, which may interfere with its operaon.
2. Pregnant women should use weight funcon only. All other funcons are not
intended for pregnant women.
3. Keep out of reach of young children.
4. Do not jumping on the unit plaorm.
5. Do not step on the edge of unit plaorm.
6. Person with disabilies or physically frail should be assisted by another
person when using this unit.
7. Do not disassemble or modify the unit.
8. Using the baeries specify by the product specificaons, polaries match
the polaries of the baery compartment as indicated.
9. Remove the baeries if the unit not be used for three months or longer.
10. If the display not shows, check the baeries.
11. Do not mix old and new baeries or different types of baeries to extend the life of the unit.
12. Do not use the unit on slippery surfaces such as le floors or wet floors.
13. Place the unit in an area free from direct sunlight, heang equipment, high humidity or extreme
temperature change.
14. Avoid excessive impact or vibraon to the unit.
15. Never submerge in water. Use alcohol to clean the electrodes and glass cleaner (applied to a cloth first)
to keep them shiny.
16. Place the unit on a hard, flat surface where there is minimal vibraon
to ensure safe and accurate measurement.

Electromagnec propagaon is affected by absorpon and
reflecon from structures, objects and people.
Field strengths from fixed transmiers, such as base

and TV broadcast cannot be predicted theorecally with
accuracy. To assess the electromagnec environment due
to fixed RF transmiers, an electromagnec site survey
should be considered. If the measured field strength in the
locaon in which the FEP-103 should be observed to verify
normal operaon. If abnormal performance is observed,
addional measures my be necessary, such as re-orienng
or relocang the FEP-103.

Recommended separaon distance between portable and mobile RF communicaons equipment and the FEP-103
The FEP-103 is intended for use in an electromagnec environment in which radiated RF disturbances are controlled. The customer or
the user of the FEP-103 can help prevent electromagnec interference by maintaining a minimum distance between portable and
mobile RF communicaons equipment (transmiers) and the FEP-103 as recommended below, according to the maximum output
power of the communicaons equipment.

3.1 Care and Maintenance
1. Store the unit in a safe and dry locaon.
2. Avoid place on the aisle, to avoid accidentally tripped over
pedestrians.
3. Never submerge in water.
4. Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight, extreme hot or cold temperatures
or high humidity.
5. Avoid contact with corrosive chemicals or gas.
6. Clean the unit with a so dry cloth for daily use.
7. Wipe the plaorm and display using clean so cloth.
8. Do not use benzene, detergents or gasoline to clean the unit.
9. Avoid rough, scking cloth, to prevent scratching the plaorm and screen panels.
10. Prevent water infiltraon affecng the measurement accuracy.
