5.1.1 Parameters of Resource Block
Relative
index Parameter name R/W Data format Description
0 Block Header Description about this block
1 ST_REV R TYPE_U16/2
The revision level of the static data associated with the function block. The revision
value will be incremented each time a static parameter value in the block is changed.
2 TAG_DESC W TYPE_OCT_STRING/32 A parameter to describe a comment about the content of the tag
3 STRATEGY W TYPE_U16/2
A parameter available for high-level system to group or identify the
function block. This data is not checked or processed by the block.
4 ALERT_KEY W TYPE_U8/1 Identification number of the plant unit. This information may be
used for sorting alarms, etc.
5 MODE_BLK.TARGET W TYPE_ENUM/1 A parameter to set the mode of function block. Only one of the
supported modes can be selected.
6 MODE_BLK.ACTUAL R TYPE_ENUM/1 The current mode of the block. (May differ from TARGET based
on operating conditions.)
7 MODE_BLK.PERMITTED W TYPE_ENUM/1 Mode that is supported by function block
8 MODE_BLK.NORMAL W TYPE_ENUM/1 Mode that is set by normal operating condition
9 BLOCK_ERR R TYPE_ENUM/2
This parameter reflects the error status associated with the
hardware or software components associated with a block.
Multiple errors can be shown by a bit string.
10 RS_STATE R TYPE_ENUM/1 Indicates the state of function block application
11 TEST_RW.VALUE_1 W TYPE_BOOL/1
For maintenance
12 TEST_RW.VALUE_2 W TYPE_I8/1
13 TEST_RW.VALUE_3 W TYPE_I16/2
14 TEST_RW.VALUE_4 W TYPE_I32/4
15 TEST_RW.VALUE_5 W TYPE_U8/1
16 TEST_RW.VALUE_6 W TYPE_U16/2
17 TEST_RW.VALUE_7 W TYPE_U32/4

22 TEST_RW.VALUE_12 W TYPE_TIME/6
23 TEST_RW.VALUE_13 W TYPE_TIME/6
24 TEST_RW.VALUE_14 W TYPE_BIT/16
25 TEST_RW.VALUE_15 W TYPE_TIME/8
26 DD_RESOURCE R TYPE_STRING/32 String identifying DD (Device Description) which contains
resource description
27 MANUFAC_ID R TYPE_ENUM/4 Identification number of the manufacturer
(OVAL:0x0000043e)
28 DEV_TYPE R TYPE_ENUM/2 Certified model number of the device
(ALTImass:0x0dd9)
29 DEV_REV R TYPE_U8/1 Revision number of the device
30 DD_REV R TYPE_U8/1 Revision number of DD the device complies with
31 GRANT_DENY.GRANT W TYPE_ENUM/1
Selection of an item (program, tuning, alarm, or local) which the
operator, a higher level device (HLD), or a local operator's panel
(LOP) is permitted to operate.
32 GRANT_DENY.DENY W TYPE_ENUM/1
The denied attribute is reserved for a monitoring application of an
interface device. This parameter cannot be changed by an operator.
33 HARD_TYPES R TYPE_ENUM/2 Type of hardware available in the channel
34 RESTART W TYPE_ENUM/1
Execute restart by using communication. Several methods of restart are possible.
1: During normal operation 2: Restart
3: Restart with parameter default and 4: Restart processor
35 FEATURES R TYPE_ENUM/2 Display of the options supported by the resource block
36 FEATURE_SEL W TYPE_ENUM/2 Parameters to configure the options of the resource block
37 CYCLE_TYPE R TYPE_ENUM/2 Display of the cycle type supported by the resource block
38 CYCLE_SEL W TYPE_ENUM/2 Parameters to set the types of cycle of the resource block
39 MIN_CYCLE_T R TYPE_U32/4
Time duration of the shortest cycle interval of which the resource is capable
40 MEMORY_SIZE R TYPE_U16/2 Available size of configuration memory. To be checked before
attempting a download
41 NV_CYCLE_T R TYPE_U32/4
Interval between writing copies of NV parameters to non-volatile memory
42 FREE_SPACE R TYPE_FLOAT/4 Percent of memory available for further configuration
43 FREE_TIME R TYPE_FLOAT/4

46 FAULT_STATE R TYPE_ENUM/1
Condition set by loss of communication to an output block, failure
promoted to an output block, or a physical contact. When faultstate
condition is set, output function blocks will perform their FSTATE
actions.
