Pace Denali HD Specification User manual

All Digital MPEG-4/MPEG-2, High-Definition DVR
Set-Top Box Solutions
Pace’s “Dallas” and “Denali” range of high-performance HD set-top boxes
(STBs) feature fully integrated MoCA®1.1 for home content sharing and
Multiroom DVR functionality.
Options include CableCARDTM Conditional Access for systems in the United
States and Embedded Conditional Access for Canadian and Latin American
markets.
The “Dallas” HD-DVR includes an easy fit, replaceable Hard Disk Drive (HDD)
subassembly for service purposes, which may also be retrofitted to “Denali”
eSATA STBs for full DVR upgrades.
The “Dallas/Denali” STB range provides cable operators with a robust, leading
edge secure platform for authorization entitlements, code download, and billing
system messages and signaling through an out-of-band (OOB)
messaging system.
The range also runs native electronic program guide applications commonly found
at today’s cable systems, including VOD and next-generation applications.
