Multiple documents with thicknesses ran in
from 11 lbs bond to 110 lbs index and up to 3 hard
ID cards, such as driver's licenses and medical
cards, can be scanned at the same time. The
inherent desi n of the KV-S1045C allows both
documents and hard cards to be scanned in a
sin le batch, even as part of the same document.
In addition to its double-feed prevention roller,
the double-feed prevention system is enhanced by
an ultrasonic sensor that detects the double feedin
of ori inals durin scannin . This innovative desi n
prevents double feedin , and has been proven
effective even when the documents bein scanned
contain a mix of paper of different wei hts or
thicknesses. Thanks to ultrasonic double-feed
prevention, optimum reliability is assured even
when scannin hi h volumes of documents.
By selectively usin the KV-S1045C and
the optional KV-SS080*, you can easily
scan documents and booklets, and save
them in the same document.

The KV-SS080 does not operate as a standalone unit.
Even when documents are set in
different directions, this function detects
the direction of the scanned text and
automatically rotates the document into
the correct direction. This boosts work
efficiency by eliminatin the need to
chan e the direction of each pa e in
advance when scannin lar e quantities
of documents with various sizes and
directions.
