QUICK START GUIDE
This guide will help you understand the basics of using the Bebop 2. For
more information, watch our videos and refer to the support section of our
website http://www.parrot.com/uk/support/parrot-bebop-2
Charging the battery
1. Select the adapter (supplied) corresponding to your country and
connect it to the charger.
2. Connect the charging cable (supplied) to the charger.
3. Connect the battery to the charging cable and plug the charger into
an available power outlet. The indicator light is red during charg-
ing and then turns green when the battery is charged. The battery
charging time is about 55 minutes. Flight time is approximately 25
minutes.
install the propellers
Install, then lock the propellers onto the motors of the Bebop 2 as
indicated in (A diagram) using the supplied propeller mounting tool
(B diagram). Please note that the propellers are not interchangeable,
and must be installed correctly before operation.

install the battery
Slide the battery of the Bebop 2 forward until your hear click. The
latch at the rear of the battery must be locked in the lower position
(C diagram).

DownloaDing the appliCation
Connect to the App StoreSM or Google PlayTM and download the
FreeFlight3 app free of charge.
ConneCting asmartphone or tablet
1. Press the red ON/OFF button (C diagram) located on the back of


and becomes solid red when the Bebop 2 is ready to use.
2. Search for available Wi-Fi®networks on your smartphone:
• If you are using an iPhone, go to Settings> Wi-Fi
• If you are using an AndroidTM smartphone, go to
Settings > Wireless and networks > Wi-Fi.
3. Select Bebop2-xxxx network.
4. Wait for your smartphone to connect to the Bebop 2 Wi-Fi network.
The Wi-Fi symbol will usually appear on your smartphone when
connection is complete.
Flying (Diagram D)
Once your Bebop 2 has been connected, launch the FreeFlight3 applica-
tion, then press on Free Flight
Press on Take Off to make the Bebop 2 take off.
Piloting mode as described below is the default mode. You may change
mode in the setting by pressing on
Press on or (left joystick) to make the Bebop 2 turn left or right.
Press on or (left joystick) to make the Bebop 2 go up or down.
Press on or (right joystick) to make the Bebop 2 go backwards
or forwards.
Press on or (right joystick) to make the Bebop 2 go sideways to
the left or right.

Press on Landing to make the Bebop 2 land.

The internal memory for video recording is limited to 29 minutes.
The Bebop 2 is not suitable for children under 14 years of age.
The Bebop 2 is a model aircraft designed for recreational and leisure
purposes. The pilot must always maintain direct visual contact with the
Bebop 2 and monitor its trajectory. The Bebop 2 must be used in ac-
cordance with the civil aviation regulations in your country. You should
only use the Bebop 2 in open spaces so that you can ensure the safety
of people, animals and property at all times. There are some public
places such as train stations, airports, etc., and roads where you may
not be permitted to use your Bebop 2.


2. Should this occur, your drone may not function as intended.
Do not use the Bebop 2 in adverse weather conditions such as rain, strong
winds, and snow, or in poor visibility conditions, for example, at night.
Keep the Bebop 2 away from high voltage power lines, buildings or
any other potentially dangerous areas.
Do not use this device near liquids. Do not land the Bebop 2 on water
or any wet surface as this may cause irreversible damage.

Read the entire instruction sheet included with this battery. Failure to
follow all instructions could cause permanent damage to the battery
and its surroundings, and cause bodily harm. Never use anything
except a LiPo approved charger. Always use a LiPo cell balancing
charger or a LiPo cell balancer. Never charge through the discharge
lead. Never trickle charge, or allow to discharge below 2.5V per cell.
Never allow the battery temperature to exceed 140°F (60°C). Never

Charger la batterie
1. Sélectionnez la prise (fournie) correspondante à votre pays et insé-
rez-la sur le chargeur.
2. Connectez le câble fourni au chargeur.
3. Branchez la batterie au câble du chargeur puis branchez le char-
geur sur le secteur. Le voyant lumineux est rouge pendant la
charge puis passe au vert lorsque la batterie est chargée. Le temps
de charge de la batterie est d’environ 55 minutes. Le temps de vol
est d’environ 25 minutes.
installer les heliCes
Placez puis bloquez les hélices sur les moteurs du Bebop 2 comme
indiqué sur le (schéma A) à l’aide de l’outil de montage des hélices
fourni (schéma B).

Faites glisser la batterie du Bebop 2 jusqu’a entendre un click. Le
loquet situé à l’arrière de la batterie doit alors être en position basse
(schéma C).

mètres > Sans fil et réseaux > Wi-Fi.
3. Sélectionnez le réseau : Bebop2-xxxx.
4. Patientez jusqu’à la connexion de votre smartphone au réseau Wi-
Fi du Bebop 2 Cette connexion est généralement représentée par
l’apparition du logo Wi-Fi sur l’écran du smartphone.
pilotage (sChéma D)
Lorsque votre Bebop 2 est connecté, lancez l’application FreeFlight3,
puis appuyez sur Vol libre pour piloter le Bebop 2.
Appuyez sur Take Off pour faire décoller le Bebop 2.
Le mode de pilotage décrit ci-dessous est le mode par défaut. Vous
pouvez changer de mode dans les paramètres en appuyant sur
