INSTRUCTIONS PERTAINING TO A RISK OF FIRE, OR INJURY TO PERSONS
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Lighted lamp is HOT!
WARNING - To reduce the risk of FIRE OR INJURY TO PERSONS:
• Do not operate the luminaire fitting with a missing or damaged lens or bulb protector.
• WARNING - Risk of Electric Shock. Install all luminaires 10 feet (3.05 m) or more from a pool, spa or fountain.
• Install in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
Only for use with low voltage power units with a maximum output rating of 15V, Class 2 only.
Flushmount
1.1 Find a location on the deck where you want to mount
the light.
1.2 Place it over the deck and use a sharp object or pen to mark
where you are going to put the screws.
1.3 Place the screws 3 in. apart in the deck and mount the light on
the screws using the brackets at the back of the light.
1. Installing the light fixture
2. Run the Landscape Wire (Not Included)
The landscape wire should run from the power pack to each light without being cut. Do not run the landscape
wire within 10 feet (3m) of a pool, spa or fountain. If the landscape wire is too long, cut it with a cable cutter.
The landscape wire should be protected by routing it close to proximity of the light fixture or next to a
building, deck or fence. Use cable suitable for low voltage landscape lighting.
See chart below for recommended cable gauges.
*Suitable cable should be sized in accordance to the table, should be Type SPT-2W. If you cannot find this cable at your local hardware or home improvement store then
please call customer service at 1-888-867-6095 or e-mail at customerservice@niinorthern.com to order the cable needed.

There are two ways of installing this deck light:
Hidden wire
1.1 Drill a 1” hole in the chosen location.
1.2
Use the two (2) provided screws and screw them 3in. apart
in the deck
. Close enough to the hole to be able to hide it entirely
with the stair light’s body.
1.3 Pass the wire and the connector through the hole.
1.4 Mount the light on the screws.

3.2 Align and fit the main low
voltage cable vertically to
the slot of wire connector as
shown.
3.3 Press the wire connector together
until fully seated and locked around
the cable. Pre-set prongs will pierce
the cable insulation and establish
contact. Turn on the power unit. If the
light fixture does not turn on, repeat
operations 3.2 and 3.3.
3.4 Once the clip-on connector is in
place, wrap it with electrical tape for
additional protection.

on opposite sides of the
low voltage cable where the
fixture will be located.

All of the lights fail to
work

• To clean, wash with a damp soft cloth.
• Replacement parts may be ordered by using the fixture model
number and the part’s name.
• Check that the power is on.
• Check if there is a loose
connection at the power pack
screw terminal.
• Check that the power switch is not
in the OFF setting.
• The problem here is with the
fixture's connector or LED.
• Check the connector to make
sure the wire stabs have pierced
the landscape wire.

The landscape wire and connector can also be hidden under stone or
buried under grass at a maximum depth of 6” (15,24cm).

PATRIOT LIGHTING® (Garden Light) WARRANTY 5-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY:
This PATRIOT LIGHTING® brand light fixture carries a five (5) Year Limited Warranty to the original purchaser. If, during normal use, this PATRIOT LIGHTING® light fixture fails due to a defect in material and workmanship within five (5)
years from the date of purchase, simply bring this light fixture with your original sales receipt back to your nearest MENARDS® retail store. At its discretion, PATRIOT LIGHTING® agrees to have the lighting fixture replaced with the same
or similar PATRIOT LIGHTING® product free of charge, within the stated warranty period, when returned by the original purchaser with original sales receipt. Notwithstanding the foregoing, this limited warranty does not cover damage or
failure caused by misuse or abuse including but not limited to improper installation, accident, unauthorized repair, maintenance, or modifications of the merchandise. This warranty: (1) excludes expendable parts including but not limited to
light bulbs, batteries; (2) carries a 2-year finish warranty protecting finish against tarnishing, flaking, and discoloration; (3) shall be void if this lighting fixture is not installed in the U.S.A; (4) does not cover products installed within three
miles of saltwater coastline or any area prone to salt spray; and (5) does not cover any losses, labor, injuries to persons/property or costs. This warranty does give you specific legal rights and you may have other rights, which vary from
state to state. Be careful, it is recommended that installation be done by a qualified professional; the purchaser has sole responsibility for proper installation in compliance with all state and local code requirements. Seller’s employees are
not qualified to advise you on the use of this Merchandise. Any oral representation(s) made will not be binding on seller or its employees. The rights under this limited warranty are to the original purchaser of the Merchandise and may not
be transferred to any subsequent owner. This limited warranty is in lieu of all warranties, expressed or implied including warranties or merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Seller shall not be liable for any special, incidental,
or consequential damages. The sole exclusive remedy against the seller will be for the replacement of any defects as provided herein, as long as the seller is willing or able to replace this product or is willing to refund the purchase price as
