Overview
TheMagicStreamDeckJet IIis designedto beinstalled inthe deckor landscapingsurrounding thepool,
spa,fountain,or pond. TheDeck Jet’sswivel nozzle(Figure1) producesa5/16" streamof water. The
DeckJet bodyisequippedwithtwo, 3/16”drain holesto allowwatertodrainfrom thecup surroundingthe
nozzleintothe draincavity atthebase ofthebody (Figure1). Be sure tokeep thedrainholes clearof
debris. Toaid indraining, Pentairrecommends placinga gravellayer beneaththeDeckJet.
PentairrecommendsthateachDeckJetbefittedwitha¾"ballvalvetoallowflowcontrolforeachnozzle.
Forinstallationsinvolvingmultiplenozzles,werecommendinstallinga3-wayvalveonthemainlinenearthe
pumpforoveralladjustment.
TheDeckJet isdesignedfor amaximum flow rateof 5GPM at 11ft ofhead(See tablebelow).

Installation
TheDeckJetbodyisdesignedtobeconnectedtoa3/4”Sch40PVCpipe(Figure2). Afterthepipeis
pressuretested, solvent weldtheDeck Jetbodyto the3/4”supply pipe. NOTE: UsePVC/ABS glue only.
AnchortheDeckJetbody,withtheDeckJetcoverattached,sothecoverislevelwiththefinisheddeck
surface.
Oncethedeckisfinished,flushanydebrisfromthesupplypipeusingthepumpandfiltersystemthat
suppliestheDeckJet. ApplyTeflon®tapetothethreadsoftheswivelbase. Removeanydebrisfromthe
cupandscrewtheswivelbaseintotheDeckJetbody(Figure2).
Byhand,pushtheswivelnozzleuntilitsnapsontotheswivelbase(Figure3).
Operation
Startthepumpandadjusttheappropriatevalvesasnecessarytocreatethedesiredwatereffect.
Ifthestreamofwaterisdisrupted,removetheDeckJetCover,JetandJetSwivelBase.Checktoseeif
thereisanydebrisblockingtheJet.
Towinterize,removetheJetandJetSwivelBase.Blowthelinesclearwithair, andinstalla1/2”threaded
plug.
