Thank you for your purchase. The Pentair® FreshPoint® Easy Flow
Under Counter Water Filtration System makes getting the water
you want easier than ever. It effectively reduces contaminants so
you can enjoy peace of mind with every refreshing sip, straight
from your existing faucet. And you can install it yourself in minutes.

PRECAUTIONS
Do not use with water that is microbiologically
unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate
disinfection before or after the system.
Systems certied for cyst reduction may be
used on disinfected waters that may contain
lterable cysts.
Check for compliance with state and local laws
and regulations.
System must be protected against freezing which
can cause cracking of the lter and water leakage.
NOTE:
• For Cold Water Use Only.
• The system must be maintained according to
manufacturer’s recommendations, including replacement
of lter. The contaminants or other substances removed or
reduced by this water treatment device are not necessarily
in your water. Ask your local water municipality for a copy
of their water analysis or have your water tested by a
reputable water-testing lab.
• After prolonged periods of non-use (such as during a
vacation), it is recommended that the system be ushed
thoroughly. Let the water run for a minimum of fteen (15)
minutes before use.
• The lter used with this system has a limited service life.
Changes in taste, odor or ow may indicate that the lter
should be replaced.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Please read all instructions, specications and precautions
before proceeding with installation of the system.
To access a digital version of the user’s guide and other
resources, or for lter reorder information, scan the QR code
located on the top of the lter (see below).
NOTE: There must be a shutoff valve installed ahead of the
system. The lter and base are factory assembled and
do not need to be disassembled until replacement of the
lter is required.
1. With supplied #1 size Phillips screwdriver, remove screw from
black battery cover on bottom of unit (see below). Unlatch
cover and install the two AA batteries included with your
system ensuring that the +(plus) and –(minus) terminals
are aligned correctly. Replace cover and screw tight. Lights
will blink and go through light sequence. See “Filter Life
Indicator” section on page 4.

2. Shut off the cold water to your faucet by turning the cold water valve under the
sink, clockwise.
3. Turn on cold water faucet to release pressure and drain water until water stops.
Leave faucet open.
NOTE: If the lter is removed from the unit for any reason, lter must be re-
installed. An audible click ensures proper sealing of the lter.
4. Place a tray or towel under the cold-water line to catch excess water. With
wrench, disconnect cold-water hose from cold-water line located near the water
shutoff valve (do NOT disconnect from the faucet).
5. Connect system cold-water inlet hose (white) to the cold-water shutoff
valve. Ensure tight connection (typically ve [5] turns).
6. Connect cold-water outlet hose (blue) to the cold-water hose still connected to
the faucet. Use a supplied wrench to hold the current hose tting while using the
second supplied wrench to tighten the tting on the blue hose.
PLACING THE SYSTEM INTO OPERATION
7. Wipe down system and area so it is dry, and to more easily identify potential
system leaks. Slowly open the water shutoff valve, by turning counter-clockwise,
while visually inspecting tting tightness to ensure no leaks.
8. Allow water to ow with faucet open completely for fteen (15) minutes to
ush the lter.
NOTE: A drinking water lter may contain carbon nes (very ne black
particles). If carbon nes appear in the water, continue ushing until none
are present.
NOTE: Initially, ltered water may appear cloudy. If cloudiness in glass of water
rises to the top, the cause is likely due to air in the water. The air (and cloudiness)
will disappear within a few weeks after installation.
9. Press and hold small Filter Life Indicator Button for ve (5) seconds. After
the button is released, a blue light on the Filter Life Indicator will ash four
(4) times to conrm timer has started.
FILTER LIFE INDICATOR
To check the remaining life of your lter, push Filter Life Indicator Button.
Blue Light:
Ea ch blue light ash indicates three (3) months of remaining lter life (e.g.
two [2] ashes represent six [6] months remaining life).
Red Light:
When the lter needs to be changed, a red light will blink three (3) times,
continuing three (3) times daily for eight (8) seconds for a period of 60 days,
unless deactivated by pressing the Filter Life Indicator Button.
If red and blue lights are ashing alternately, batteries need to be replaced.
After replacing lter, press and hold the Filter Life Indicator Button for ve
(5) seconds. The blue lights will ash four (4) times to indicate remaining life
of new lter.

Water Filtration System. An audible click ensures proper

PRECAUCIONES
No se debe utilizar con agua
microbiológicamente insegura o de calidad
desconocida sin la desinfección adecuada
previa o posterior al paso por el sistema. Los
sistemas certicados para la reducción de
quistes pueden usarse en aguas desinfectadas
que pudieran contener quistes ltrables.
Verique el cumplimiento de las leyes y normas
estatales y locales aplicables.
Se debe proteger el sistema contra el congelamiento
para evitar la rotura del ltro y fugas de agua.
NOTA:
• Para uso únicamente con agua fría.
• Se debe mantener el sistema según las recomendaciones
del fabricante, incluido el reemplazo del ltro. Las
sustancias contaminantes o de otro tipo que este
dispositivo de tratamiento de agua elimina o reduce, no
están necesariamente en su agua. Pida a su servicio de agua
municipal una copia de su análisis de agua, o pida un análisis
de su agua a un laboratorio de pruebas de agua de buena
reputación.
• Luego de períodos prolongados sin uso, como por ejemplo,
durante unas vacaciones, se recomienda enjuagar el
sistema a fondo. Deje correr el agua durante un mínimo de
quince (15) minutos antes de usarla.
• El ltro que utiliza este sistema tienen una vida útil limitada.

INSTRUCCIONES DE INSTALACIÓN
Lea todas las instrucciones, especicaciones y precauciones
antes de proceder con la instalación del sistema.
Para acceder a una versión digital de la guía del usuario y otros
recursos, o para obtener información de cómo volver a hacer
un pedido de ltros, escanee el código QR ubicado en la parte
superior del ltro (ver más abajo).
NOTA: Debe haber una llave de paso instalada antes del sistema.
El ltro y la base vienen ensamblados de fábrica y no
es necesario desarmar el ltro hasta que se requiera
reemplazarlo.
2. Con el destornillador Phillips n.º 1 suministrado, retire el
tornillo de la tapa negra de la batería en la parte inferior de
la unidad (vea a continuación) . Abra la tapa e instale las dos
baterías AA incluidas, asegurándose de que los terminales
+(positivos) y –(negativos) estén alineados correctamente.
Vuelva a colocar la tapa y atornille hasta que no pueda
apretar más. Las luces parpadearán y mostrarán una
secuencia de luces. Consulte la sección “Indicador de vida

2. Cierre el agua fría hacia su llave girando hacia la derecha la llave de paso de agua fría
situada debajo del fregadero.
3. Abra la llave de agua fría para liberar la presión y drene el agua hasta que se detenga. Deje
la llave abierta.
NOTA: Si se remueve el ltro de la unidad por cualquier motivo, se lo debe volver a
instalar. El sonido de un clic le asegura un sellado adecuado del ltro.
4. Ponga una bandeja o una toalla bajo la línea de agua fría para atrapar el exceso de agua.
Con una llave, desconecte la manguera de agua fría de la línea de agua fría ubicada cerca
de la llave de paso del agua (NO la desconecte de la llave).
5. Conecte la manguera de entrada (blanca) de agua fría del sistema a la llave de paso
de agua fría. Asegúrese de que las conexiones queden ajustadas (normalmente cinco
[5] giros).
6. Conecte la manguera de salida de agua fría (azul) a la manguera de agua fría que todavía
está conectada a la llave. Utilice una de las llaves suministradas para sujetar la conexión
de la manguera actual mientras usa la segunda llave suministrada para ajustar la conexión
en la manguera azul.
CÓMO PONER EN FUNCIONAMIENTO EL SISTEMA
7. Limpie el sistema y el área de instalación para que estén secos y poder así identicar
con mayor facilidad posibles fugas del sistema. Abra lentamente la llave de paso del
agua, girándola hacia la izquierda, mientras inspecciona de manera visual el ajuste de las
conexiones para asegurarse de que no haya fugas.
8. Abra la llave por completo y deje que el agua uya durante quince (15) minutos para
dejar correr el agua por el ltro y lavarlo.
NOTA: Los ltros para agua potable pueden contener restos de carbón (polvo negro
muy no). Si aparecen restos de carbón en el agua, siga lavando hasta que dejen de
aparecer.
NOTA: En un primer momento, el agua ltrada puede parecer turbia. Si la turbiedad en un
vaso de agua sube a la supercie, es probable que la causa se deba al aire en el agua. El
aire (y la turbiedad) desaparecerán en unas cuantas semanas después de la instalación.
9. Mantenga presionado el pequeño botón de indicador de vida útil del ltro durante
cinco (5) segundos. Después de soltar el botón, una luz azul en el indicador de vida
útil del ltro parpadeará cuatro (4) veces para conrmar que el temporizador se ha
iniciado.
INDICADOR de vida útil del ltro
Para comprobar la vida útil restante de su ltro, presione el botón Indicador de vida útil del
ltro.
Luz azul:
Ca da parpadeo de luz azul indica tres (3) meses de vida útil restante del ltro (p. ej.,
dos [2] destellos representan seis [6] meses de vida útil restante).
Luz roja:
Cuando sea necesario cambiar el ltro, una luz roja parpadeará tres (3) veces; lo
hará tres (3) veces al día durante ocho (8) segundos por un período de 60 días, a
menos que se la desactive presionando el botón indicador de vida útil del ltro.
Si las luces roja y azul parpadean de manera alternada, es necesario reemplazar las
baterías.
Después de reemplazar el ltro, mantenga presionado el botón de indicador de vida
útil del ltro durante cinco (5) segundos. Las luces azules parpadearán cuatro (4)
veces para indicar la vida útil restante del ltro nuevo.
