her, der RSD-FC-CN.3km realisiert die Verbindun

Lichtwellenleiter. Die Verbindun

zwischen den Geräten wird über einen Stecker,
der an der rechten Seite an

estellt. Bevor die Geräte montiert
werden muß die Abdeckun

auf der rechten Seite des Gerätes entfernt werden.

Stromversorgung
Nur der RSD-CFA-CN ist an die Stromversor
g
un

anzuschließen. Dazu sind die
Klemmen V+ und V- des Adapters zu verwenden. Der Nominalwert der Versor-
g
un
g
sspannun

ist 24 VDC. Die maximal 2 anschließbaren RSD-FC-CN.3km
werden vom Adapter versor
g
t.
Anschluß des RSD-CFA-CN
Der RSD-CFA-CN ist mit der Koaxialübertra

des ControlNet zu ver-
binden. Weiterhin ist er an die Stromversor

un
g
anzuschließen. Die entsprechen-

Anschluß des RSD-FC-CN.3km
Der RSD-FC-CN.3km wird auf der linken Seite mit dem RSD-CFA-CN oder, falls
es sich um den 2. Koppler handelt, mit dem vorheri
g
en Koppler verbunden. Han-
delt es sich um den 2. Koppler in der Linie muß die Abdeckun
g
auf dem RSD-FC-
CN.3km verbleiben. Der Koppler ist zweikanali
g
und besitzt für
j
eden Kanal einen
Sender und einen Empfän
g
er.

Installation
Bei Einsatz in freier Atmosphäre dürfen der RSD-CFA-CN und der RSD-FC-
CN.3km dieser nicht direkt aus
g
esetzt werden; mit einem separaten Gehäuse
muß mindestens die Schutzart IP 54 realisiert werden; der Kupfer/LWL-Adapter
und der LWL-Koppler haben die Schutzart IP20.
Reparatur
Die Geräte dürfen nicht
g
eöffnet und dürfen nur von Pepperl+Fuchs repariert wer-
den.
ESD
Die Geräte sind
g
e
g
en elektrostatische Aufladun
g
zu schützen. In der Anla
g
e
muß in Nähe der Geräte ein Hinweisschild an
g
ebracht werden, das vor elektro-
statischer Aufladun
g
warnt.
Umgebungstemperatur

Mounting
The RSD-CFA-CN and the RSD-FC-CN.3km do not need a separate Terminal
Base. The Copper/Fiber-Adapter provides the couplin

to the ControlNet coaxca-
ble, the Fiber-Coupler realizeses the connection to the fiber optic cable. Both de-
vices are connected via a plu

ht hand side of the RSD-
CFA-CN and the left hand side of the RSD-FC-CN.3km. Before both devices are
