3. Description
This retractable awning provides protection from the wind and privacy from the neighbours’ view at any
time of the day. The retractable design makes it easy to pull out and roll back into the cassette. With a
height of 1.60 m and a maximum width of 3 m you will transform any patio into a wind free lounge area.
4. Necessary Tools for Installation
Your GSSAW1 comes with following accessories:

5. Installation
When installing the awning, make sure to install both the cassette and the
supporting post at the same level to avoid deformation of the fabric and difficulty
when opening and closing the awning.
5.1 Installing the Cassette
1. Choose a suitable mounting location. Make sure the wall to which the cassette will be fixed is strong
enough to hold the weight of the cassette.
2. Take the measurements based on the cassette. Use the brackets to determine the spacing of the
mounting holes. Drill four holes, each of 6 cm deep.
3. Insert a nylon plug in each of the holes.
Fix the brackets using the M6x60
screws.

4. Insert the cassette into the brackets
and tighten the screws to fix the
cassette.
5.2 Installing the Supporting Post
1. Take the measurements based on the
supporting post. Drill four holes, each
of 9 cm deep.
2. Insert a nylon plug in each of the holes. Fix the supporting post using the M8x75 screws.

6. How to Use
6.1 Opening the Awning
1. Keeping the front bar as upright as possible, hold the handle and pull out the awning.
2. Press the handle and insert the tab into the supporting post.
3. Release the handle. The tab should click into the supporting post.
6.2 Closing the Awning
1. To close the awning, press the handle to release it from the supporting post.
2. Pull the tab of the handle out of the supporting post.
3. Slowly guide the awning back into the cassette while holding it as upright as possible.
Do not let go of the awning to avoid accidents!
7. Cleaning and Maintenance
The GSSAW1 does not need any particular maintenance. However, the fabric may be cleaned with a cloth
or sponge and lukewarm water. Use a mild cleaning detergent if necessary. Also, regularly check the
fixings of the cassette and the supporting post. Loose fixings must be tightened immediately to avoid
accidents.

1. Inleiding

wordt weggeworpen, dit toestel schade kan toebrengen aan het milieu. Gooi dit toestel (en
eventuele batterijen) niet bij het gewone huishoudelijke afval; het moet bij een gespecialiseerd
bedrijf terechtkomen voor recyclage. U moet dit toestel naar uw dealer of naar een lokaal

2. Algemene richtlijnen
Raadpleeg de Velleman® service- en kwaliteitsgarantie achteraan deze handleiding.
Bescherm tegen schokken. Vermijd brute kracht tijdens de bediening.
Draag handschoenen, oog- en gehoorbescherming wanneer u elektrisch
gereedschap gebruikt.
Leer eerst de functies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat gebruiken.
Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen wijzigingen aanbrengen. Schade door wijzigingen die de
gebruiker heeft aangebracht valt niet onder de garantie.
Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. De garantie vervalt automatisch bij ongeoorloofd gebruik.
De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van bepaalde richtlijnen in deze handleiding en
uw dealer zal de verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier rechtstreeks
verband mee houden.

3. Omschrijving
Met dit uitrolbare privacyscherm zit u op elk moment van de dag comfortabel uit de wind én uit het zicht
van nieuwsgierige buren. Dankzij het rolsysteem is het windscherm snel en eenvoudig uit te trekken en
weer op te bergen. Met een hoogte van 1,60 meter en een maximale breedte van 3 meter maakt u van
elk terras een windvrije lounge-area!

5. Installatie
Zorg ervoor dat u zowel de kast en de steunpaal op dezelfde hoogte installeert
zodat het scherm niet vervormt en gemakkelijk opent en sluit.
5.1 Installatie van de kast
1. Kies een geschikte montageplaats. Ga na of de muur waaraan u de kast wenst te installeren
voldoende stevig is om het gewicht van de kast te dragen.
2. Gebruik de kast als basis voor de afmetingen. Gebruik de bevestigingsbeugels om de afstand tussen
de montagegaten te bepalen. Boor vier gaten, elk met een diepte van 6 cm.
3. Steek een nylon plug in elk van de
gaten. Bevestig de beugels met de
M6x60 schroeven.

4. Bevestig de kast aan de beugels en
draai de schroeven vast.
5.2 Installatie van de steunpaal
1. Gebruik de steunpaal als basis voor de
afmetingen. Boor vier gaten, elk met
een diepte van 9 cm.
2. Steek een nylon plug in elk van de gaten. Bevestig de steunpaal met de M8x75 schroeven.

6. Gebruik
6.1 Het windscherm openen
1. Neem de stang aan het handvat vast aan en trek het windscherm open.
2. Druk op het handvat en steek de pen in de steunpaal.
3. Laat het handvat los. Zorg dat de pen in de steunpaal vastklikt.
6.2 Het windscherm sluiten
1. Druk op het handvat om de pen te ontgrendelen.
2. Haal de pen van het handvat uit de steunpaal.
3. Houd het windscherm zo recht mogelijk en rol het langzaam op in de kast.
Laat het windscherm nooit los om ongevallen te vermijden!
7. Reiniging en onderhoud
De GSSAW1 vereist geen bijzonder onderhoud. Maak het windscherm schoon met een doek or spons en
lauwwarm water. Gebruik een zacht reinigingsmiddel indien nodig. Controleer ook regelmatig de
bevestiging van de kast en de steunpaal. Draai losse schroeven onmiddellijk vast om ongevallen te
vermijden.

3. Description
Ce store rétractable protège contre le vent et les regards indiscrets. Le système de rétraction pratique
permet de facilement installer et ranger le store. Avec sa hauteur de 1.60 m et sa largeur maximale de 3
m, votre terrasse est transformée en une véritable zone de relaxation, à l'abri des courants d'air !

5. Installation
Lors de l'installation du store latéral, veiller à installer la cassette et le poteau de
support au même niveau afin d'éviter de déformer le store et de faciliter
l'ouverture et la fermeture.
5.1 Installation de la cassette
1. Choisir un emplacement de montage approprié. Veiller à ce que le mur porteur puisse supporter le
poids de la cassette.
2. Utiliser la cassette pour prendre les mesures. Déterminer l'espacement des trous de montage à
l'aide des supports de montage. Percer quatre trous, chacun d'une profondeur de 6 cm.
3. Insérer une cheville en nylon dans
chacun des trous. Fixer les supports de
montage à l'aide des vis M6x60.

4. Fixer la cassette aux supports de
montage et serrer les vis.
5.2 Installation du poteau de support
1. Utiliser le poteau de support pour
prendre les mesures. Percer quatre
trous, chacun d'une profondeur de
9 cm.
2. Insérer une cheville en nylon dans chacun des trous. Fixer le poteau de support à l'aide des vis M8x75.

6. Utilisation
6.1 Ouverture du store
1. Saisir la poignée et tirer en tenant la tige le plus droit possible.
2. Enfoncer la poignée et insérer la goupille dans le poteau de support.
3. Relâcher la poignée. Veiller à ce que la goupille soit verrouillée dans le poteau de support.
6.2 Fermeture du store
1. Pour fermer le store, enfoncer la poignée pour la libérer du poteau de support.
2. Sortir la goupille du poteau de support.
3. Accompagner lentement le store en le tenant le plus droit possible.
Ne pas relâcher le store afin d'éviter les accidents !
7. Nettoyage et entretien
Le GSSAW1 ne nécessite aucun maintien particulier. Cependant, le tissu peut être nettoyé avec un
chiffon ou une éponge et de l'eau tiède. Utiliser un agent nettoyant doux si nécessaire. Contrôler
également régulièrement les fixations de la cassette et du poteau de support. Resserrer immédiatement
toute fixation branlante afin d'éviter les accidents.

3. Descripción
Este toldo retráctil proporciona protección contra el viento y privacidad de la vista de los vecinos en
cualquier momento del día. El diseño retráctil hace que sea fácil de sacar y rodar de nuevo en el
cassette. Con una altura de 1,60 metros y una anchura máxima de 3 m usted podrá transformar

5. Instalación
Al instalar el toldo, asegúrese de instalar el cassette y el poste de apoyo al
mismo nivel para evitar la deformación de la tela y dificultad al abrir y cerrar el
toldo.
5.1 Instalación de la Cassette
1. Elija un lugar de montaje adecuado. Asegúrese de que la pared a la cual el cassette se fijará es lo
suficientemente fuerte como para soportar el peso del cassette.
2. Efectuar las mediciones basándose en el cassette. Utilice los soportes para determinar el
espaciamiento de los orificios de montaje. Perforar cuatro agujeros, cada uno de 6 cm de
profundidad.
3. Inserte un tapón de nylon en cada uno
de los agujeros. Fije los soportes con
los tornillos M6x60.

4. Inserte el cassette en los soportes y
apriete los tornillos para fijarlo.
5.2 Instalación del Poste de Apoyo
1. Tome las mediciones basadas en el
poste de apoyo. Taladre cuatro
agujeros, cada uno con 9 cm de
profundidad.
2. Inserte un tapón de nylon en cada uno de los agujeros. Fije el poste de apoyo con los tornillos
M8x75.

6. Cómo Utilizar
6.1 La Apertura del Toldo
1. Manteniendo la barra delantera lo más vertical posible, sostenga el mango y tire el toldo.
2. Presione el mango e inserte la lengüeta en el poste de apoyo.
3. Solte el mango. La lengüeta debe hacer clic en el poste de apoyo.
6.2 Cerrando el Toldo
1. Para cerrar el toldo, presione el mango para soltarlo del poste de apoyo.
2. Tire la lengüeta del mango fuera del poste de apoyo.
3. Lentamente introduzca el toldo de nuevo en el cassette mientras lo sostiene lo más vertical posible.
No suelte el toldo para evitar accidentes!
7. Limpieza y M antenimiento
El VTTEST1 no necesita mantenimiento especial. Sin embargo, la tela puede limpiarse con un paño o una
esponja y agua tibia. Use un detergente suave de limpieza si es necesario. Además, revise regularmente
las fijaciones del cassette y del poste de apoyo. Las fijaciones sueltas se deben apretar de inmediato para
evitar accidentes.
