5. Operation
Flying insects are attracted by the UV
light which is mounted behind a high
voltage electrical grid. When touching
the grid, the insects are electrocuted.
Place the insect killer in a dry location.
Plug it into a suitable mains outlet.
Unplug the device from the mains to
stop operation.

6. Cleaning and
Maintenance
The cleaning frequency depends on
the intensity of use. Check the tray of
the device at least once a week. Clean
more often if necessary. Unplug the
device from the mains before
cleaning.
Clean the insect killer regularly with a
dry, clean cloth. Do not submerge into
any liquid.

1. Inleiding

Belangrijke milieu-informatie
betreffende dit product
Dit symbool op het toestel of de
verpakking geeft aan dat, als het
na zijn levenscyclus wordt
weggeworpen, dit toestel schade kan
toebrengen aan het milieu. Gooi dit
toestel (en eventuele batterijen) niet
bij het gewone huishoudelijke afval;
het moet bij een gespecialiseerd
bedrijf terechtkomen voor recyclage.
U moet dit toestel naar uw verdeler of
naar een lokaal recyclagepunt
brengen. Respecteer de plaatselijke

2. Veiligheidsvoorschriften
Dit toestel is niet geschikt voor
gebruik door personen (kinderen
inbegrepen) met verminderde
fysieke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke
capaciteiten of gebrek aan ervaring
en kennis, tenzij zij onder toezicht
staan of instructie hebben gekregen
over het gebruik van het toestel van
een persoon die verantwoordelijk is
voor hun veiligheid. Houd toezicht

op kinderen om te voorkomen dat ze
met het toestel spelen.
Dit apparaat is enkel geschikt voor
gebruik binnenshuis. Bescherm het
toestel tegen regen, vochtigheid en
opspattende vloeistoffen. Plaats
nooit objecten gevuld met vloeistof
op of naast het toestel. Dompel
nooit onder in water of een andere
vloeistof.
Het apparaat is niet geschikt voor
gebruik buitenshuis, in schuren,
stallen en gelijkaardige plaatsen.
Gebruik het apparaat niet in
plaatsen waar ontvlambare dampen
of explosief stof kan voorkomen.
Waarschuwing! Indien de
voedingskabel beschadigd is, dan
moet deze door de fabrikant, diens
servicedienst, of een gelijkwaardig
bekwaam persoon vervangen
worden om gevaar te voorkomen.

Bescherm dit toestel tegen stof en
extreme hitte.
Bescherm tegen schokken.
Steek nooit een metalen voorwerp
door het rooster om elektrische
schokken te voorkomen.
Kijk niet naar de UV-lamp om
permanente oogletsels te vermijden.

5. Gebruik
Vliegende insecten zijn aangetrokken
door het blauwe licht van de UV-
lamp achter het
hoogspanningsrooster. Eens ze het
rooster aanraken, worden de insecten
geëlektrocuteerd. Plaats de
insectenverdelger op een droge
plaats. Steek de stekker in een
geschikt stopcontact. Trek de stekker
uit het stopcontact om de werking te
stoppen.
6. Reiniging en onderhoud
De reinigingsfrequentie hangt af van
hoe intensief het apparaat gebruikt
wordt. Controleer het vergaarbakje
minstens eenmaal per week. Reinig
het bakje vaker indien nodig. Trek de
stekker uit het stopcontact voor het
schoonmaken.

Maak het apparaat regelmatig schoon
met een droge doek. Dompel het
apparaat nooit in een vloeistof.

5. Emploi
Les insectes volants sont attirés par la
lumière bleue de la lumière UV
montée derrière la grille à haute
tension. Les insectes qui viennent se
poser sur cette grille sont
électrocutés. Placer le tue-insectes
dans un endroit sec. Brancher sur une
prise secteur appropriée. Débrancher
l’appareil du secteur pour arrêter le
fonctionnement.
6. Nettoyage et entretien
La fréquence de nettoyage dépend de
l'intensité d'utilisation. Vérifier le
casier au moins une fois par semaine.
Nettoyer plus souvent si nécessaire.
Débrancher l’appareil du secteur
avant l’entretien.

l’aide d’un chiffon sec. Ne pas
immerger dans un liquide.
