Vorbildinformation:
Im Jahr 1960 wurde bei der MÁV entschieden,
Elektrolokomotiven der Baureihe V 43
anzuschaffen. Die ersten 7 dieser Universal-
lokomotiven (Nummern 1001-1007) wurden
in Essen, Deutschland gefertigt. Anschließend
wurde die Produktion in Ungarn fortgesetzt,
bis hin zur letzten Lokomotive V43-1379.
Ihren Spitznamen „Szili“ verdankt die V43 der
Stromversorgung der Fahrmotoren mittels einer
Silizium-Gleichrichteranlage. Aufgrund der
bunten Lackierung der ab 1999 modernisierten
Lokomotiven der Baureihe V43.2 änderte
sich deren Spitzname zu „Papagái-Szili“
(Papagei-Szili).
Im Jahr 2007 erfolgte die letzte Modernisie-
rungsstufe, aus welcher die Lokomotiven der
Baureihe V43.3 hervorgingen. Für den Einsatz
im Wendezugbetrieb mit den Wittenberger
Steuerwagen, welche die MÁV von der Deut-
schen Bahn erhalten hatte, wurden u.a. an
der Front zwei Wendezugstecker angebracht.

L‘acquisition de la série V 43 a été décidée en
1960. Les premiers exemplaires ont été encore
construits en Allemagne, à Essen. Depuis la
locomotive V 43-1008, la fabrication a lieu en
Hongrie. En raison des redresseurs en silicium
montés dans les moteurs, les Hongrois ont
baptisé leur V 43 „Szili“. Une modernisation a
apporté une nouvelle peinture extrêmement
colorée. Désormais, les V 43 s‘appelaient aussi
„Papagáj-Szili“ (Szili perroquet). Il s‘agissait
de la série V 43.2. La dernière étape de moder-
nisation a eu lieu en 2007 avec la série
V 43.3, ce qui a notamment permis l‘utilisation
de têtes de commande Wittenberg achetées
en Allemagne. Après plus de 40 ans de service
universel à la MÁV, le parc de locomotives est
en cours de modernisation afin d‘augmenter la
vitesse maximale sur les tronçons de lignes de
120 km/h à 200 km/h avec la « Szili », au moyen
d‘automotrices modernes.

liszenszének megvásárlásáról.
Az első hét példányt Németországban,
Essenben gyártották le, majd a V43 1008
sorszámú mozdonytól kezdve a gyártás
Magyarországra került át. A szilícium-
egyeniránytós mozdonyok beceneve “Szili” lett.
A modernizáció során új festést is kapott, ekkor
jelent meg a “Papagáj” vagy “Papagáj-Szili”
becenevű változat, a V43.2 (2000-es pályaszám-
csoport). Ez a modernizációs szakasz 2007-ig
tartott. Ezt követte a V43.3 (háromezres
pályaszámcsoport) változat, amely már alkalmas
volt a német Wittenberg-vezérlőkocsik
magyarított változata általi távvezérlésre.
A MÁV-nál eltöltött több mint 40 év szolgálati
idő után tovább korszerűsítik az állományt, hogy
alkalmas legyen a korábbi 120 km/h után akár
200 km/h-ás vontatási sebességre is.
The prototype:
In 1960, the Hungarian Railways decided to
purchase the V 43 series of electric locomotives.
The first units were made in Essen, Germany.
Beginning with engine V 43-1008, produc-
tion took place in Hungary. The Hungarians
nicknamed the V 43 “Szili“ owing to the silicon
semiconductors built into its motors.
A modernization program brought a new and
colorful paint scheme with it that led to the
new nickname “Papagáj-Szili” (Parrot-Szili).
The rebuilt units were classified as the V 43.2
series. A second rebuilding program followed in
2007 where rebuilt units were classified as the
V 43.3 series. These units were equipped with
push-pull controls that allow them to operate
with Wittenberger cab cars from Germany. Af-
ter more than 40 years in freight and passenger
service with MÁV, the V 43 fleet is being phased
out, as 120km/h (74mph) sections are being
upgraded to 200 km/h (124mph) running using
modern motive power.

former marked as follows :

If used frequently, oil the wheelsets with a drop of non-resinous,
acid-free sewing machine oil! In order to achieve the best possible
running and traction properties, it is advisable to run the locomo-
tive in for 25 minutes forwards and 25 minutes in reverse
without load. Clean rails are essential for good performance.
Ölen Sie bei häufigem Fahrbetrieb die Achslager mit einem Tropfen
harz- und säurefreiem Nähmaschinenöl! Wir empfehlen, die Lok ca.
25 min je Fahrtrichtung ohne Belastung einlaufen zu lassen, damit
das Modell einen optimalen Rundlauf und eine gute Zugkraft er-
hält. Bitte beachten Sie, daß der einwandfreie Lauf des Modells nur
auf sauberen Schienen gewährleistet ist.
Si utilisation fréquente, huilez régulièrement avec une goutte
d’huile fine pour machine à coudre. Nous vous conseillons un
rodage complet de 25 min dans chaque sens pour un roulement
optimal. Il est conseillé de nettoyer régulièrement vos rails pour
un bon fonctionnement.
Gyakori használat esetén érdemes megkenni a tengelyeket
egy csepp sav- és gyantamentes varrógépolajjal. Javasoljuk,
hogy bejáratáskor kb. 25 percig járassuk a gépet terhelés
nélkül, mindkét irányban, így optimalizálva az élettartamot.
A modell megfelelő működése csak tiszta síneken garantált.
