replace
the
cartridgewith
a new
one.
ANTI-SKATING
DEVICE
ADJUST
MENT
Finally,apply
the
properamount
of
anti
-
skatingdevice,
in
accordancewith
the
selectedtrackingforce.Simplyturn
the
anti-skatingdevicedial
tothe
number
that
corresponds
tothe
trackingforce
in
grams(Fig.13).
CONNECTION
TOTHE
STEREO
AMPLIFIER
The
phonoinputs
onthe
amplifier
to
which
the
turntable
should
be
connected
must
be
chosen
in
accordance with
the
type
of
phonocartridge
tobe
used.
•
With
movingmagnet
or
inducedmagnettypecartridge:
Connect
to
PHONO
MAG
inputs
on
amplifier.
•
Withlow-outputmovingcoil typecartridges:
Connect
to
PHONO
MC
inputs.
If
these
arenot
provided
on
youramplifier,
a
step-uptransformerwill
be
required.
ConsultwithyourPioneerdealer.
•
Withcrystal
or
ceramiccartridge:
Connect
to
PHONOCRYSTAL
orAUX
inputs.
In
either case,connect
thered
output
plugfrom
the
turntable
tothe
amplifier'srightchannelinput,
the
white
plug
tothe
leftchannelinput.
The
thirdwire(black)with
the
split
lugonitsendisthe
groundwire.Connectthis
tothe
GROUND
orGND
terminal
of
youramplifier.
Donot
forget
to
makethisconnection,
because
itis
vital
for
avoiding
humand
noise.
