Pairing Instructions: Follow columns left to right and then down
Plantronics® M1000 Headset Nokia® 6310
1. Turn the headset ON - press and
hold the blue Talk/on-off button until
the button lights (approx. 3 seconds).
1. Turn the phone ON - press and
hold the On button.
2. Press Menu key, then use the
Ù or Ú keys to choose the Bluetooth
menu.
3. Press Select. Use the Ù or Ú keys to
choose On.
4. Press Select. The phone will display
Bluetooth switched on.
1. Locate your M1000 passkey card
and/or your 4-digit passkey number.
1. Press in and hold the Mute/volume
key until the button begins to flash
(approx. 3 seconds).
1. In the Bluetooth menu, use the
Ù or Ú keys to select
Search for audio accessories
2. In a few moments, the phone will
display all nearby Bluetooth devices.
Using the Ù or Ú keys, choose
M1000 by Plantronics and press the
Select key.
3. The phone will attempt to connect to
the M1000 and display Connecting
4. The phone will then display
Connected to M1000 by Plantr
5. Either wait for 30 seconds (the
headset will automatically
disconnect from the phone), OR
6. Using the Ù or Ú keys, choose
View Active Devices and then
press Select
7. The display shows M1000 by …
Press Options
8. The phone displays Disconnect.
Press Select. The phone will
display Disconnected: M1000 by
…

2. Press the Talk/On-Off button.
9. The phone will display Connect with
M1000 by Plantr?
10. Press Accept. The phone will
display Enter Passcode
11. Enter your 4-digit Passkey number
and press the OK key.
The phone will display Paired with
M1000 by Plantronics
1. Refer to Using Your Headset section
of the M1000 User Guide.
1. To answer incoming calls, the
phone must be configured correctly.
Press Menu key, then use the Ù
or Ú keys to Select the Bluetooth
menu.
2. In the Bluetooth menu, use the
Ù or Ú keys to select View Paired
Devices. Press Select.
3. The display will show M1000 by …
Press Options
4. Use the Ù or Ú keys to select
Request conn. authorization. Press
Select.
5. The display will show Yes or No.
Use the Ù or Ú keys to choose No
and press the Select.
6. The phone will display No
authorisation required.
1. When the phone rings, press the
Talk button to answer the call.
Press the Talk button to end the call.
1. Or use the phone to end the call.
1. Press the headset Talk button to
transfer the audio to the headset.
Press the Talk button to end the call.
1. When making a call, dial the number
required, as normal.
Or use the phone to end the call.

1. To turn the headset ON, press and
hold the blue Talk/on-off button until
the button lights (approx. 2 seconds).
1. To turn the phone ON, press and
hold the No key.
2. Using the Right Arrow key, go to the
Extras menu and press the Yes key.
Note: The yes key must be pressed
after each selection in the menus
below.
3. Scroll down and select Bluetooth.
4. In the Bluetooth menu, select
Operation Mode.
5. In the Operation Mode menu, select
On.
1. Locate your M1000 passkey card
and/or your 4-digit passkey number.
2. Press in and hold the Mute/volume
key until the button begins to flash.
1. In the Bluetooth menu, select Paired
Devices.
2. Select Add Device.
3. Select Phone Initiates
4. Select Headset
5. In a few moments, the phone will
display all nearby Bluetooth devices.
Select M1000 by Plantronics and
press the Yes key.
6. Select Add to Paired by pressing the
Yes key again.
7. Enter your 4-digit Passkey number
and press the Yes key.
8. Edit the headset name and/or press
the Yes key to add the M1000 to the
list of paired devices.

1. To turn the headset ON, press and
hold the blue Talk/on-off button until
the button lights (approx. 2 seconds).
1. To turn the phone ON, press and
hold the No key.
2. Using the Joystick, go to the Connect
menu and press the Yes key.
Note: The yes key must be pressed
after each selection in the menus
below.
3. Scroll down and select Bluetooth.
4. In the Bluetooth menu, select
Operation Mode.
5. In the Operation Mode menu, select
On.
1. Locate your M1000 passkey card
and/or your 4-digit passkey number.

Discover.
2. Select Add Device.
3. Select Phone Initiates
4. Select Headset
5. In a few moments, the phone will
display all nearby Bluetooth devices.
Select M1000 by Plantronics and
press the Yes key.
6. Select Add to Paired by pressing the
Yes key again.
7. Enter your 4-digit Passkey number
and press the Yes key.
8. Edit the headset name and/or press
the Yes key to add the M1000 to the
list of paired devices.
