Per un corretto uso del passeggino “CARTY” vi consigliamo di dedicare alcuni minuti alla
lettura di questo manuale.
GARANZIADI QUALITÀ:
- ll nostro passeggino è fabbricato secondo le norme europee EN 1888 : 2012.
- Questo prodotto è garantito per il periodo previsto dalle leggi vigenti contro i difetti di
produzione. Se l'articolo viene riparato o modificato da personale non autorizzato, la
garanzia cessa di esistere.
- La non cura del prodotto stesso, la mancata manutenzione, il naturale consumo e i
danni causati da uso improprio o scorretto implicano la perdita della garanzia.
- Non possono essere reclamati difetti e/o deterioramenti dovuti ad un utilizzo non
adeguato, al non rispetto delle norme di sicurezza, di montaggio e d'uso descritte o a
modifiche fatte al prodotto.
- Graffi, usura, opacizzazione o ingiallimento delle parti dovuto allo sfregamento, all'uso di

APERTURA
Togliete dall'imballo il prodotto e ogni sua componente, controllate che i vari sacchetti di
plastica siano vuoti e non contengano piccoli accessori o componenti (come: viti, bulloni,
tappi o altre piccole parti), tenerli lontani dalla portata del bambino o rimuoverli.
Per aprire il passeggino sbloccate la cinturina di chiusura tirandola (Fig. 1), aprite il
passeggino (Fig. 2), spingete col piede verso il basso le leve di bloccaggio poste sul retro
del passeggino (Fig. 3) finchè son completamente bloccate (Fig. 4). Controllate che il
passeggino sia completamente e correttamente aperto spingendo leggermente i manici
verso il basso.
Inserite le ruote anteriori negli appositi supporti sul telaio inserendole dal lato del foro più
largo (Fig. 5).
Agganciate la capottina al tubo inserendo l'aggancio nell'apposita giuda (Fig. 6); eseguite
la stessa operazione su ambo i lati. Fissate poi il velcro sullo schienale. Ruotatela in
avanti e bloccatela spingendo sulle cerniere a compasso laterali (Fig. 7). Per sganciarla,
sbloccate i compassi, sganciate il velcro e sfilate la capotte dalle guide.
Per fissare la barra di sicurezza frontale (bracciolo) (Fig. 8), fissatela al telaio (Fig. 9) col
bottone di regolazione verso l'esterno. Spingete il gancio fino a farlo chiudere contro il
tubo (CLICK) (Fig. 10). Eseguite l'operazione su entrambi i lati. Per togliere il bracciolo,
sbloccate i ganci e rimuovetelo.
Ora il vostro passeggino è pronto per l'uso (Fig. 11).Assicuratevi che esso sia ben aperto,
saldamente montato e stabile, che non ci siano parti rotte, difettose o mancanti.
CINTURE
AVVERTENZA: Utilizzate SEMPRE le cinture e lo spartigambe ben tesi e regolati!
Inserite il gancio delle cinture verticali nelle asole delle cinture girovita (Fig. 12). Inserite le
cinture girovita nella fibbia della cintura inguinale (CLICK) (Fig. 13).
Per sganciarle e far uscire il vostro bambino, premete il pulsante al centro della fibbia
(Fig. 14).
Questo articolo è provvisto di punti di ancoraggio per agganci di qualsiasi sistema di
ritenuta, diversi da quello già installato (Fig. 15).
MODO D'USO E REGOLAZIONI
Carty ha lo schienale regolabile in cinque posizioni (Fig. 16). Per abbassare lo schienale,
premere i pulsanti sulle leve di sblocco (Fig. 17) su entrambi i lati contemporaneamente.
Abbassare lo schienale fino alla posizione desiderata. Spingere lo schienale verso l'alto
scegliendo la posizione più consona o quella verticale.

Per bloccare le ruote e frenare il passeggino, spingere la leva del freno verso il basso. Per
sbloccarle e riprendere la marcia, spingere la leva verso l'alto (Fig. 18).
UTILIZZARE SEMPRE I FRENI QUANDO SI È FERMI E SU SUPERFICI NON PIANE!
Questo passeggino è dotato di ruote anteriori piroettanti e molleggiate per consentire una
maneggevolezza maggiore negli spostamenti. Per disattivare tale funzione bloccando le
ruote, basta sollevare le leve poste sulle ruote (Fig. 19). In questo modo il passeggino
potrà seguire solamente un percorso rettilineo (Fig. 20). Spingete verso il basso le stesse
leve (Fig. 21) e le ruote del passeggino gireranno e curveranno più facilmente (Fig. 22).
CHIUSURA
Per chiudere il passeggino, sbloccate i compassi della capottina e poi chiudetela.
Sbloccate i sistemi di sicurezza alzando la prima leva e poi sbloccando la seconda
spingendo verso il basso (Fig. 23). Spingete le maniglie in avanti (Fig. 24) fino alla
completa chiusura del passeggino. Bloccatelo con l'apposita cinturina.
ATTENZIONE: NON EFFETTUARE NESSUNAMANOVRADIAPERTURAO CHIUSURA
DELPASSEGGINO CONALL'INTERNO IL BAMBINO O OGGETTI VARI.
Carty è dotato di una comoda maniglia di trasporto laterale per poterlo portare in giro,
quando chiuso, ovunque vogliate senza sforzo (Fig. 25).

Sappiamo quanto voi genitori teniate alla salute e alla sicurezza del vostro bambino, vi
consigliamo pertanto di seguire queste semplici avvertenze e consigli d'utilizzo.
- ATTENZIONE: NON LASCIARE MAI ILVOSTRO BAMBINO INCUSTODITO, SENZA
LASORVEGLIANZADI UNADULTO. LASICUREZZADEL BAMBINO È SOTTO LA
VOSTRARESPONSABILITÀ.
- ATTENZIONE: L'uso di smartphone o tablet riduce
l'attenzione verso il vostro piccolo aumentando
l'esposizione a rischi e pericoli gravi. Se il bambino è di
età inferiore ai 6 mesi, controllatelo costantemente.
- Gettare e tenere fuori dalla portata dei bambini i sacchetti di plastica dell'imballo, per
evitare casi di soffocamento.

- Prima dell'uso assicurarsi che tutti i dispositivi di bloccaggio siano correttamente
agganciati, funzionanti e che tutte le componenti non presentino difetti o
danneggiamenti; in tal caso non utilizzare il prodotto.
- Verificare che l'articolo non abbia viti allentate o avvitate scorrettamente o altri elementi
che potrebbero ferire il bambino o potrebbero far impigliare i vestiti (o catenelle,
succhietti o oggetti simili) ed essere fonte di strangolamento. Non utilizzare con parti
rotte, difettose o mancanti.
- Svolgere le operazioni di montaggio e installazione SENZAalcun bambino nei paraggi.
L'assemblaggio di questo prodotto deve essere effettuato da un adulto.
- Non apportare alcuna modifica o aggiungere altri elementi che possano compromettere
la sicurezza dell'articolo; potrebbe essere pericoloso.
- Non lasciare che il vostro bambino giochi con questo prodotto. Non lasciare che altri
bambini o animali giochino incustoditi in prossimità del prodotto e/o si arrampichino sullo
stesso.
- Questo passeggino è dotato di cintura di sicurezza e spartigambe. Utilizzare sempre la
cintura di sicurezza, controllando che sia ben regolata.
- ATTENZIONE: Utilizzare il sistema di ritenuta non appena il vostro bambino è in grado
di stare in posizione seduta autonomamente.
- ATTENZIONE: Questo articolo NON è adatto a bambini di età inferiore ai 6 mesi.
- Questa seduta non è adatta per bambini di età inferiore a 6 mesi.
- ATTENZIONE: Questo articolo NON è adatto a bambini di peso superiore a 15 Kg.
- Tenere lontano da fonti di calore, prese elettriche, forni, fuochi, finestre…e altri tipi di
pericoli.
- Quando si lascia l'articolo esposto al sole aspettare che si raffreddi prima di utilizzarlo.
- Non apportare alcuna modifica che possa compromettere la sicurezza del prodotto;
potrebbe essere pericoloso utilizzare accessori non approvati dal costruttore.
- ATTENZIONE: Durante l'utilizzo non date al bambino e non posizionate il prodotto in
prossimità di corde o cinghie, potrebbero essere fonte di strangolamento.
-Assicuratevi di seguire le istruzioni di montaggio nell'ordine indicato, in quanto alcune
parti devono essere installate prima di altre.
- ATTENZIONE: Questo passeggino è studiato per trasportare un solo bambino per volta.
- ATTENZIONE: Ogni peso attaccato al manico influisce sulla stabilità del passeggino e
ne compromette la stabilità e la sicurezza.
- Il cestello è studiato per un carico massimo di 5Kg; ogni carico superiore ne
compromette la stabilità.
- ATTENZIONE: Questo prodotto non è adatto per correre o pattinare.
- Non usare la barra frontale e/o le maniglie per sollevare il passeggino con all'interno il
vostro bambino o altri pesi. Impugnare sempre il telaio in questi casi.

- La barra frontale imbottita è progettata come accessorio, non assicura il vostro bambino
nella seduta e non sostituisce le cinture di sicurezza a cinque punti di cui è dotato
l'articolo. Non è ideata per sorreggere il peso del vostro bambino, tanto meno per far
sedere un adulto.
- BLOCCARE SEMPRE LE RUOTE OGNI VOLTACHE SI EFFETTUAUNASOSTA; per
verificare che siano bloccate, muovete leggermente avanti e indietro il prodotto. È
importante frenare le ruote ogni volta che adagiate o togliete il vostro bambino.
- NON LASCIARE MAI ILPICCOLO DENTRO ILPASSEGGINO SU PIANI INCLINATI O
RIPIDI, anche se con ruote bloccate.
- Non sostare in prossimità di veicoli in movimento, anche con il freno inserito. La corrente
d'aria potrebbe causare uno spostamento imprevisto del passeggino.
- Non usare il passeggino su scale o scale mobili; in tal caso togliere il bambino e
chiudere il passeggino.
- È pericoloso legare animali domestici al prodotto, possono compromettere la stabilita e/o
causare la perdita della presa del telaio.
- Prestare particolare attenzione ai tratti di terreno irregolari, ai gradini e ai marciapiedi.
Quando scendete da marciapiedi o gradini vi consigliamo di farlo usando le ruote
posteriori per prime, onde evitare ribaltamenti o altri pericoli. Quando invece salite fatelo
usando per prime le ruote anteriori.
- Per assicurarsi il pieno controllo del passeggino tenere con entrambe le mani
l'impugnatura.
- Utilizzare con particolare cautela sui mezzi di trasporto pubblici.
- Se possibile, evitate l'uso di questo articolo in spiaggia; i granelli di sabbia e la salsedine
potrebbero danneggiano e compromettono gravemente il freno impedendone il
funzionamento. Nell'eventualità ciò accada, pulire con attenzione da granelli di sabbia e
salsedine le ruote, i tubi e le parti dei movimenti e degli scorrimenti.
-Anche per un normale uso del passeggino assicurarsi periodicamente che tutte le parti
siano pulite da polvere o sporco, si eviteranno così attriti che potrebbero compromettere
il funzionamento del passeggino.
- Questo articolo è provvisto di punti di ancoraggio per agganci di qualsiasi sistema di
ritenuta, diversi da quello già installato.
- Non rimuovere le etichette adesive e/o cucite; potrebbero rendere il prodotto non
conforme ai sensi di norma.
- ATTENZIONE: Non effettuare nessuna manovra di apertura o chiusura del passeggino
con all'interno il vostro bambino o oggetti vari. Per evitare lesioni o ferimenti, assicurarsi
che il vostro bambino sia a debita distanza durante le operazioni di apertura, chiusura o
regolazione del prodotto.
- Evitare di infilare le dita nei sistemi di bloccaggio e nei vari meccanismi.
- Quando non in uso, tenere questo articolo fuori dalla portata dei bambini.

CURAE MANTENIMENTO DELPRODOTTO:
Per un miglior funzionamento e mantenimento del prodotto, vi consigliamo di seguire questi
consigli di manutenzione. Le operazioni di pulizia e manutenzione devono essere effettuate
solo da adulti.
- Controllare regolarmente che l'articolo e i suoi accessori non abbiano parti rotte, difettose o
mancanti. - ATTENZIONE: Non lavare nessuna componente o parte in
lavatrice.
- Per pulire le parti plastiche e i tessuti, usare strofinacci con
acqua tiepida e detergenti neutri.
- Tenere pulite le parti tessili dalla polvere spazzolandole.
- Non usare solventi. Non candeggiare.Asciugare perfettamente prima di utilizzarlo o riporlo.
-Asciugare bene le parti in ferro per prevenire la ruggine.
- Proteggere il prodotto da agenti atmosferici, acqua, pioggia o neve; l'esposizione continua e
prolungata al sole potrebbe causare cambiamenti di colore.
- Tenete puliti da polvere e sabbia i tubi e le parti dei movimenti e degli scorrimenti per evitare
inceppamenti, attriti e mal-funzionamenti.
- Controllare periodicamente le ruote e la loro usura; tenerle pulite da polvere e sabbia.
- Non utilizzare pezzi di ricambio che non siano stati approvati e forniti dal produttore. Usare
esclusivamente ricambi Plebani.
Il produttore potrà apportare in qualsiasi momento modifiche all'articolo al fine di migliorarlo.

For a correct use of “CARTY” stroller we recommend you to take few minutes to read this
manual.
QUALITY GUARANTIES:
- Our stroller is made according to European safety standards EN 1888 : 2012.
- This product is guaranteed for a period as stated by the laws in force against production
defects. If the item is repaired or modified by not authorized people, the warranty expire.
- The negligence on care of the product, the lack of maintenance, the natural consumption
and damage caused by incorrect or wrong use involve the loss of warranty.
-All defects and/or deteriorations caused by wrong use, by the non respect of security
standards, assembling and use here mentioned or by modifications made on the
product, cannot be claimed.
- Scratches, wear, dullness or the turning yellow of the parts due to rubbing, to the use of
detergents, sweat or weather phenomena are not a manufacturing defect.
- Wrong washes, wet and not well dried fabrics may create molds and cannot be
considered as manufacturing defects.
- If you need assistance, please contact the retailer from whom you purchased the
product. It will be the intermediary with our company providing you appropriate
indications.

OPENING
Remove the product and all of its components from packaging, check that all plastic bags
are empty and do not contain small parts or components (such as screws, bolts, caps or
other small parts), keep them away from the reach of children or remove them.
To open stroller loosen closing belt by pulling it (Fig. 1), open stroller (Fig. 2), push with
your foot down on the locking levers on the back of the stroller (Fig. 3) until they are
completely blocked (Fig. 4). Check that stroller is fully and correctly opened by pushing
handles down gently. Insert the front wheels into supports on frame by putting them on the
larger hole side (Fig. 5).
Fix canopy to frame by inserting the hook into guide (Fig. 6); make same operation on
both sides. Then fix Velcro on back. Turn it forward and lock it by pushing onto side
compass (Fig. 7). To release canopy, unlocked compasses, unhook Velcro and remove
canopy from the guides.
To fix the safety front-bar (Fig. 8), fix it to the frame (Fig. 9) with regulation button outside
face. Push the hook until it closes against frame (CLICK) (Fig. 10). Make same operation
on both sides. To remove the armrest, unlock the hooks and remove it.
Now your stroller is ready for use (Fig. 11). Make sure that it is wide open, secured and
stable, that there are no broken, defective or missing parts.
BELTS
WARNING: ALWAYS use safety belts and crotch strap, properly adjusted and fixed!
Insert the hook of shoulder belts into belts slots (Fig. 12). Insert waist belt into crotch
buckle (CLICK) (Fig. 13).
To release them and bring baby out, press button in the center of the buckle (Fig. 14).
This item is provided with anchor points for hooks of any restraint system, different from
the one already installed (Fig. 15).
WAY OF USEAND REGULATIONS
Carty has adjustable backrest in five positions (Fig. 16). To lower backrest, press buttons
on release levers (Fig. 17) on both sides at the same time. Lower backrest to the desired
position. Push backrest upwards choosing the most appropriate position or the vertical
one.
To lock wheels and brake stroller, push the brake lever down. To unlock them and resume
driving, push the lever up (Fig. 18).
ALWAYS USE BRAKES WHEN STOPPEDAND ON NOT PLANE SURFACES!

This stroller has swivel and springy front wheels to allow a better handy during
movements. To deactivate this function fixing wheels, pull up the levers on the wheels
(Fig. 19). This way stroller can run only straight (Fig. 20). Push levers down (Fig. 21) to
restore swivel function and drive more easily (Fig. 22).
CLOSING:
To close stroller, unlocked the compasses of canopy and then close it. Unlock the safety
systems lifting the first lever and then unlocking the second pushing it down (Fig. 23).
Push the handles forward (Fig. 24) until stroller is completely closed. Lock it with its belt.
WARNING: DO NOT MAKEANY OPENING OR CLOSING OPERATION OF THE
STROLLER WITH BABY ORANY OBJECTS INSIDE.
Carty has a handy side carrying handle to carry it when closed, anywhere you want
without effort (Fig. 25).
WARNINGS:

WARNINGSAND USE INSTRUCTIONS COULD CAUSE SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES
TOYOUR BABY'S SAFETY.
We know how you parents care about health and safety of your baby, for this reason we
recommend you to follow these simple warning and using advices.
- WARNING: NEVER LEAVE YOUR CHILD UNATTENDED, WITHOUTTHE
SUPERVISION OFANADULT. THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILD IS UNDERYOUR
RESPONSIBILITY. - WARNING: Using smartphone or tablet reduces your
attention to the baby and increase exposure to risks and
serious hazards. If the baby is less than 6 months, check
it constantly.
- Throw away and keep out of baby's reach the packing plastic poly bags, to avoid
suffocation.
- Before every use make sure that all locking devices work correctly and all components
are not defected or damaged; in this case do not use product.
- Check that the product doesn't have any loosened or improperly assembled screws, or
any other elements or other elements that could injure the child or could cause clothing
to get caught (or chains, soothers or similar objects) and be a source of strangulation.
Do not use with any broken, defected or loosen parts.

- Make assembly and installation operations WITHOUT any babies around.Assembly of
this product should be made by an adult.
- Do not make any modifications or add other elements that may compromise the safety of
the item; it could be dangerous.
- Do not let your child play with this product. Do not let other children or animals play
unattended near the product and/or climb into.
- This stroller has safety belts and crotch strap.Always use them properly adjusted and
fixed.
- WARINING: Use the restraint system as soon as your baby can seat unaided.
- WARNING: This product is NOT suitable for children under the age of 6 months.
- This seat is not suitable for children under 6 months.
- WARNING: This product is NOT suitable for children with 15 Kg MAXIMUM weight.
- Keep it far from sources of heat, current-taps, ovens, fires, windows...and any other type
of danger.
- When you leave the product exposed to the sun, wait it becomes cooler before using it.
- Do not make any modifications that could damage safety of the product; it may be
dangerous use spare parts not approved by manufacturer.

- Make sure to follow the assembling instructions in the order shown, since some parts
must be assembled before others.
- WARNING: This stroller is studied to bring only one child by time.
- WARNING:Any weight attached on handle affects on stroller stability and may affect its
stability and safety.
- Storage basket can load 5 Kgs maximum weight; any overload might compromise its
stability.
- WARNING: This item is not suitable to run or to skate.
- The padded front bar is designed as an accessory, does not ensure the child in the seat
and it's not a substitute of five points safety belts equipped on product. Front-bar is not
designed to carry the weight of your child, much less to let seat an adult.
- Do not use the front bar and/or the handles to lift the stroller with your child or other
weights inside it.Always hold the frame in such cases.
-ALWAYS LOCK WHEELS EVERYTIME YOU MAKEASTOPS; to check that they are
locked, move the product slightly back and forth. It is important to stop the wheels
whenever lying or remove your child.
- NEVER LEAVE THE BABYINSIDE STROLLER ON TILTED OR STEEP SURFACES,
even if wheels are locked.
- Do not stay close to moving vehicles, even with brake pulled. The air flow may cause an
unexpected movement of the stroller.
WARINING: When using do not give to your baby, and do not place the product near the
