POWERMAT WIRELESS CHARGING
Powermat components are designed to provide a fast, simple
and safe charging solution for today’s most popular devices.
The system is comprised of two types of components: Mats and
Receivers. The mat charges your device and is designed to work
and look great in many different environments. Receivers make
your device Powermat-enabled. Receivers are available for many
of today’s most popular devices and there are several styles of
receivers. Once your favorite devices are enabled with
a Powermat receiver, wireless charging is as easy as placing them
on a Powermat.
SIMPLE & CONVENIENT
Just plug your Powermat in once and then drop and charge.
It’s simple to use so your devices stay charged and you skip the
constant hassle of plugging and unplugging as well as the angst
of running on empty. A clutter-free solution that eliminates the
tangle of wires and helps conveniently charge your beloved
HTC EVO 4G.

ALIGNING A DEVICE
Aligning your Powermat enabled devices for optimal charging is
simple with Powermat.
Feel. When you place your HTC EVO 4G (fitted with the Powermat
Receiver) onto a Powermat Mat you will feel a slight magnetic
attraction when the device gets close to a Power Access Point. The
pull will guide the device into perfect position for optimal charging.
Hear. The Powermat activation sound will be played when a device
is properly positioned and charging begins. The deactivation sound
will be played when the device is removed from the Powermat.
See. The Power Access Point has corresponding light indicators
that will illuminate when a device is properly positioned and charging
begins. The lights will turn off when the device is fully charged or
removed from the Power Access Point.
QUICK 3 STEP OPERATION
1. Insert your fingernail into the slot at the top
left of the battery compartment cover and
lift gently to remove (Fig. 1).
2. Place the Powermat Battery Door onto
the device, making sure all the locking
tabs are seated and there are no gaps
around the cover (Fig. 2).
3. Place your HTC EVO 4G (with Powermat
Receiver) onto a Powermat Mat
(not included) (Fig. 3).

THE POWERMAT “HANDSHAKE”
When a Powermat enabled device is properly positioned on a
Powermat Mat, an automatic “handshake” process will take place
during which the Powermat Mat will recognize the Powermat
Receiver and activate the Powermat Access Point. (NOTE:
Non-enabled devices will not cause activation.) This process
ensures that the proper power is given to your device. Also, this
communication allows the Mat to stop delivering power when the
device is fully charged, saving energy.
NOTE: The light may come on and go off after approximately fifteen
(15) seconds if the mat confirms that a device is fully charged.

Any portable electronic device that has been enabled with a
product-specific Powermat Receiver can be charged using the
Powermat Mat. As new Powermat Receivers become available,
we will post the information to our website (www.powermat.com).

TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Solution
My electronic device is
not charging
Confirm that you have followed the set-up
instructions and that the Powermat Mat is
properly plugged into an electrical outlet and
the DC plug is inserted into the mat.
Make sure that you have properly installed
your Powermat Receiver for HTC EVO 4G.
Verify that your handheld device is properly
positioned on the Powermat Mat and that
the indicator lights are lit, indicating that a
connection has been made between the Mat
and your enabled device
Please note that if the device is not charging
this may indicate that the device has been
fully charged and no further charging is
needed.
NOTE: Devices that have not been enabled
with a Powermat Receiver will not activate.
The indication light is
not lit
If the indication lights fails to glow at all, a
proper connection between the Powermat
Mat and your device has not been made.

ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Powermat USA, LLC sells its products with the intent that they are
free of defects in manufacture and workmanship for one year from
the date of original purchase, except as noted below. Powermat
USA, LLC warrants that its products will be free of defects in
material and workmanship under normal use and service. This
warranty extends only to consumers and does not extend to
Retailers.
To obtain warranty service on your Powermat USA, LLC product,
mail the product and your dated sales receipt (as proof of

This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or
abuse; accident; the attachment of any unauthorized accessory;
alteration to the product; improper installation; unauthorized
repairs or modifications; improper use of electrical/power
supply; loss of power; dropped product; malfunction or damage
of an operating part from failure to provide manufacturer’s
recommended maintenance; transportation damage; theft;
neglect; vandalism; or environmental conditions; loss of use
during the period the product is at a repair facility or otherwise
awaiting parts or repair; or any other conditions whatsoever that
are beyond the control of Powermat USA, LLC.
This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and
operated in the country in which the product is purchased. A
product that requires modifications or adoption to enable it to
operate in any other country than the country for which it was
designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or repair of
products damaged by these modifications is not covered under
this warranty.
THE WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN SHALL BE THE SOLE
AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY. THERE SHALL BE NO OTHER
WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED

RÁPIDO FUNCIONAMIENTO

2. Coloque la tapa de la batería en Powermat

Cómo alinear un dispositivo
Alinear sus dispositivos habilitados para funcionar con Powermat para su
carga óptima es sencillo con Powermat.
Sienta. Cuando coloque su HTC EVO 4G (con el receptor Powermat
colocado) sobre la alfombrilla Powermat, sentirá una leve atracción magnética
cuando el dispositivo se acerca a un Punto de Acceso a la Energía.
La atracción guiará el dispositivo a la posición perfecta para una carga óptima.
Escuche. El sonido de activación del Powermat sonará cuando un
dispositivo esté adecuadamente posicionado y la carga comience. El sonido
de desactivación sonará cuando el dispositivo se retire del Punto de acceso a
la energía.
Vea. Cada Punto de acceso a la energía tiene una luz indicadora
correspondiente que se iluminará cuando el dispositivo este ubicado y la
carga comience. La luz se apagará cuando el dispositivo se encuentre
completamente cargado o se retire del Punto de acceso a la energía.

El “apretón de manos” Powermat
Cuando un dispositivo habilitado para funcionar con Powermat esté
ubicado correctamente sobre una alfombrilla Powermat, ocurrirá un
proceso automático de “apretón de manos” durante el cual la alfombrilla
Powermat reconocerá el receptor Powermat y activará el Punto de
acceso Powermat. (NOTA: los dispositivos no habilitados no provocarán la
activación.) Este proceso asegura que se administre la energía necesaria
al su dispositivo. Además, esta comunicación permite que la alfombrilla
deje de suministrar energía cuando el dispositivo queda completamente
