Assembly Requirements
It takes about 90 minutes to assemble this equipment. If this is your rst time doing this, allow more time.
CAUTION
At least two people are required to assemble the equipment. DO NOT attempt to assemble this by yourself. Precor recommends that all strength equipment be bolted to the
ooring at all anchoring points.
Installation Requirements
● Unpack the boxes and assemble the equipment close to where you plan to use it.
● Locate equipment at least 40 inches (1 meter) away from any walls, furniture, or objects on all sides.
● While tightening the fasteners, be sure to leave room for adjustments. DO NOT fully tighten fasteners until instructed to do so.
● Set up and assemble the equipment on a solid, at surface, so that it remains level and stable.
● DO NOT move the equipment without assistance.
Required Tools
● Torque wrench with torque range to at least 150 ft-lb (206 N-m) and ts the following hex bits: 6, 8, and 10 mm
● Socket wrench sets, metric and standard, plus extensions
● Open-end wrench sets, metric and standard
● Hex wrench sets, metric and standard, plus extensions
●Box cutter
●Rubber mallet
● Retaining ring pliers - large, medium, and small
● Pliers - large, medium, and small

Frame Assembly
DO NOT tighten fasteners until instructed to do so.
Have your assistant hold frame parts in place during assembly.

Tool: Hex wrench, 10 mm
Connect the main frame to side of weight stack tower .
This will stabilize frame for further assembly.
22 M12 x 130 mm SHCS
4 washers 13 mm
2 M12 nylon lock nuts
Tools: Hex wrench, 10 mm
Socket wrench, 19 mm
Connect lower part of main frame to weight stack tower
and kick plate .
Align to last hole on left under pulley.
32 M10 x 125 mm BHCS
2 washers, 11 mm
Insert both guide rod fasteners from user side to align kick plate.
Hand tighten only. They will be removed temporarily in a later
step.

Tool: Hex wrench, 10 mm
Connect main frame to seat base . Attach long, horizon-
tal fasteners rst through side of seat base. Fully tighten to align
holes for shorter fasteners in next step

Tool: Hex wrench, 10 mm
Next, attach shorter fasteners from behind.
6 Tools: Hex wrench, 10 mm
Socket wrench, 19 mm
Torque wrench
Gently rock the frame to align. Tighten all M12 fasteners to a
torque of 55 ft-lb (75 N-m).
Do not tighten the M10 screws installed in step 3 at this time.
They will be removed temporarily in a later step.

Moving Parts
Seat Assembly

Tool: Hex wrench, 10 mm
Slide handlebars and hardware onto shaft as shown. Align arrows on
handlebars and frame to ensure handlebars are on correctly.
Align hole in end cap with the shaft pin and secure the handlebars.
21 M10 x 25 mm SHCS
Tool: Hex wrench, 8 mm
Turn and center handlebars on shaft and secure.
Remove all arrow labels.

Tool: Socket wrench ½-inch with extension
Align the back plate to the seat base frame . Place the seat
pad over the plate and align the front holes. Secure the seat
pad through the plate and frame.

Tool: Socket wrench ½-inch
Remove the plastic back pad cap from the back pad. Secure the
back pad to the back plate.
3Tool: Mallet Push plastic back pad cap into place over back of plate and back
pad. Tap gently with mallet if needed.

Secure the arm pad (seam-side down) to the arm plate.

Route the Cable

1Pull cable tight from main frame to ensure it rests inside grooves of
arm cam and pulley before you start to route the cable.
2Tools: Hex wrench, 8 mm
Hex wrench, 4 mm
To route the cable around the lower pulley on the weight stack tower,
remove the cable retainer. Route the cable around the pulley and then
replace the cable retainer.
3Tools: Hex wrench, 8 mm
Open-end wrench, 19 mm
Torque wrench
To route the cable to the upper pulleys of weight stack tower, remove the
cable retainers, route the cables, and replace the retainers. Tighten to 50
ft-lb (67 N-m) of torque.

Finish the Weight Stack Tower

Tool: Hex wrench, 6 mm
Remove the guide rod fasteners installed in step 3 of the Frame Assembly.

1 weight stack spacer, 3-inch
Align the weight stack spacer over the holes on the base of the tower. Insert two
weight guide rods and lean outwards about 6 inches (15 cm), enough clearance
for the weights. Flat side of weight stack spacer should face user side.
3 2 bumpers
15 10 lb (4.5 kg) weight plates
1 top plate assembly
Slide one bumper on to each rod. Place the weight plates on the rods. Ensure the
side with three holes face the user side and single hole to the back. Place the top
plate over the weight plates. The plates and top plate should align ush on the
user side.

Prepare the lower base for the add-on weight assembly. Place the retaining
screw through the bracket on the weight stack spacer.
Remove the cap from the guide rod and place the rod into bracket opening se-
cured by the screw.

Place one bumper onto the third guide rod, followed by another bumper (wide
sides together), the add-on weight, and the add-on weight handle.
6 1 counterweight Place counterweight over front two rods and handle.
7Straighten the front two guide rods to a vertical position. Have your assistant lift
the guide rods up into the upper part of the frame.
8Tools: Hex wrench, 6 mm
Torque wrench
While the assistant is holding the rods into the upper frame, reinsert the two
bolts underneath the guide rods in the bottom frame, and secure to the kick
plate. Let the guide rods drop onto the bolts and fully tighten the bolts. Tighten
M10 screws to 32 ft-lb (43 N-m) of torque.

Socket wrench, 17 mm
Replace the cap to the top of the rod and secure top of rod to weight stack
tower frame.

1 washer, silver 13.5 mm ID x 35 mm OD
Place the washers into the top of the cable connector in the add-on weight
handle.
11 Tool: Torque wrench Attach the cable to the weight stack. Thread the bolt into the top plate assem-
bly until the cable meets ALL of the following requirements.
The top weight just begins to separate from the second weight.
The selector pin can be easily inserted into each of the weight plates.
The add-on weight is engaged when the latch is in the down posi-
tion.
At least six turns of the threads on the cable bolt extend into the
add-on weight selector stem.
The distance from the underside of the jam nut to the top of the washer
should be no more than 1.61 inch (41mm).
Tighten the locking bolt against the select stem to 50 ft-lb (81 N-m) of
torque.
12 1 weight labels Remove back of labels. Align top holes and place pin into hole. Remove pin
and place into a lower hole on labels. Re-align labels as necessary and then
press rmly onto weights. Rub vigorously and thoroughly to adhere. Peel the
extra label away and rub remaining labels again.
13 Lubricate the guide rods with a Teon-based lubricant, such as Tri-Flow Supe-
rior Lubricant. Remove any excess with a clean cloth or tissue.
