•/Dry mode: removes humidity (dehumidify), but does not affect room
temperature. The fan operates at its lowest speed shown as . For best
results, do not use the exhaust tube, but fit a permanent drainage pipe
to the drain outlet as shown on page 4.
•/HEAT mode: heats if the room temperature is below the selected
temperature. Use the and buttons to select the desired room
temperature. The temperature can be set between 16°C and 30°C
(60°F - 86°F). When the temperature reaches desired level the
compressor will stop, and the fan will continue to run. Heating
performance reduces if the outdoor temperature falls below 7 °C. in this
mode the fan will run at /Lo speed
•/Fan mode: circulates the air, but does not affect room temperature
or humidity. The fan speed can be altered by pushing the button, the
fan has 3 speeds indicated by the /Lo, /Med and /Hi symbols on
the unit display.
•/Energy Saving: The energy saving function on this unit runs the fan
at /Lo speed only and sets the fan to run for 30 seconds on then off
for 2 minutes 30 seconds. The unit will also switch off the duct fan and
compressor when the cooling temperature reaches the set level and will
not switch on until the temperature rises above this level.
/SLEEP (Press + buttons at the same time on panel): When the sleep
button is pressed the icon appears in the LCD display and the fan runs at
/Lo speed and cannot be adjusted. Only works in /HEAT and /COOL
modes. In /COOL mode the set temperature will increase 1°C after 2 hours
and a further 1°C after another 2 hours then remain constant. In /HEAT mode
the set temperature will decrease 1°C after 2 hours and a further 1°C after
another 2 hours then remain constant. The sleep mode will automatically be
cancelled on any change of running mode.
/TIMER: This function allows an auto ON or OFF time to be set. The LCD
display will show a flashing symbol. The first 2 digits are for hours and
the second 2 for minutes. You can use the and buttons to set the time in 30
minute intervals. If the unit is switched on and working then setting the timer will
set the running time until the unit switches OFF. If you wish the unit to start in a
pre-determined time then first turn the unit on and select the mode and
temperature desired, and then power the unit down by touching the power
button. Push the /TIMER button and the display will show , set the time
until you wish the unit to start in 30 minute intervals. The unit will start to count
down and will start automatically with the last selected mode and temperature as
set earlier.
