Windows 98SE
1. Connect USB modem to PC with
USB cable. Cancel any Add
New Hardware Wizard window
and then insert the driver CD
into your CD-ROM drive. The
autorun function will then start
up the shell program. Press
Install Driver to install the driver
automatically. Or, run the
Autorun.exe to bring out the
autorun screen if the autorun
window does not display.
2. This program will help you
update some information of
Windows 98 Second Edition.
Click OK.

The installation process will take several seconds. Please wait for
completing.
Click Yes to restart you
computer. Windows will finish
the installation automatically
after rebooting.

Start>Control Panel.

computer.

1. Connect the USB modem to PC

specific location (Advanced)”
and then click Next.

the search” and then click
Browse to specify the location:
E:\Drivers\WinXP. (E is your
CD-ROM drive.) Click Next.
6. Click Continue Anyway to
continue this installation.
7. Click Finish to complete the
installation.

8. Double click Phone and
Modem Options icon from
Start>Control Panel.
9. You can see the modem named
Prolink 56K USB Modem in
Modems tab.
