1. Transfer the Basic Software
•Upper and lower part must be connected
•Batteries must be in the device
•Connect Cyclone Pro
•Switch on Cyclone Pro and select file
•Switch on equipment and keep the button
pushed down all the time
•Start transfer with the Cyclone Pro
2. Software Update DP
•Switch on the instrument
•Confirm “Menu“
•Confirm in the sub menu „Service“
•sweep the magnet over the reed contact (under the OK button)
•go on SW update and confirm "yes"
•connect the USB cable with the instrument
•start the software "DPSetup.exe"
•confirm file "transfer S.19 file"
•Choose and open the file
•Confirm "OK" at the instrument
•Start software and transfer

5. Tightness Checking with the Test Device
•Connect complete system or just the DP
Adapter unit
•Connect the left connection of the cross unit with the right connection via an adapter
unit
•Connect the upper connection of the cross unit with the test device

•Establish a connection from the instrument to the test device
•Open the closing at the test device
•Adjusting the pressure by the knob
The knob must be lifted first
After adjustment press knob down to
interlock
•Set the pressure to 1000 mbar
the value reacts very delayed
•Let value stabilise for 5 min.
•Write down value and wait for 10 to 15 min.
•Value must have dropped for 0,6 mbar maximum
or
•Switch on instrument
•Go to point „Prog“ in the menu and confirm
•in this sub-menu go to point „Setup“ and confirm
•Set stabilising time of the preliminary test to 5 min.
•Set measuring time of the preliminary test to 10 min.
•Set test pressure of the preliminary test to 1000 hPa
•Leave sub-menu and confirm the menu point „Preliminary test“
•Value must have dropped for 0,6 mbar maximum
Attention: open windows, doors or ventilation as well as temperature changes
might influence the tightness check

6. Tightness Checking without the Test Device
•Set-up of the test system
•Build up a pressure of app. 200 hPa
with the bellow
•Write down start pressure
•Leave it over night
•Write down the final pressure the next day
•Starting from a pressure of 200 hPa the final pressure may not be under 100 hPa
Note:
In case of leakage an under water test should be made in order to locate the leakage.
The complete assembling (without instrument) is kept under water and according to the
bubbles the leakage can be recognised.

7. Calibration with the Test device
•Connect the instrument with the test device as described in point 4
•Set a value of app. 750 mbar
Calibration can just be made with a value of below 1000 mbar
•et value stabilise
•The measurement deviation may not exceed 0,5 %
In case the value is more than this:
•Press F2 (Settings)
•Confirm service
•Slide the magnet over the reed contact (left side of instrument)
•Confirm draught adjustment
•With the arrow keys the value of the reference unit can be put in.
Attention: The deviation of the displayed value has to be in consideration with the test
series provided by the TÜV
Example: TÜV test series
Display calibrator of the TÜV: 750,1
Display measurement instrument of the TÜV: 753,2
Difference: 3,1
Now this value (Difference: 3,1) has to subtracted form the displayed value of the
difference unit and put in the calibrating unit.

Characteristics of the DP/Japan (Hodaka)
Sensor Calibration:
Switch off unit, press and hold ON button (approx. 15 seconds), press F2, select Service,
Hodaka address appears on the display, sweep magnet across the reed contact, select
Adjust draught
Tubing new (12/2013):
Install carefully, tubes must not be bent
