for the 2-way digital manifold
DIGIMON
Important
Read this manual carefully and familiarise yourself with the specifi-
cations and operation of the REFCO DIGIMON digital manifold prior
to use. These instructions provide important information regarding to
the operation and service of the manifold.
Purpose and use
The manifold has been designed specifically to measure pressure and tem-
perature in refrigeration equipment. For use only by trained technicians.
The manifold must not be used for other than refrigerant applications.
The manifold is not suitable for other liquids or gases except those
indicated on the display.
The manifold must not be used with pressure higher than 60bar /
870psi / 6000kPa / 6MPa.
The manifold cannot be used as a pressure regulator, especially not in
use with nitrogen N2.
The manifold cannot be used with ammonia (NH3 / R717).
Do not expose the manifold to rain or wet conditions.

Safety glasses and gloves must be worn during the use of the mani-
fold.
REFCO-products are designed and manufactured for use by techni-
cally trained air conditioning and refrigeration service engineers only.
Due to the high pressures employed and the danger due to the physi-
cal and chemical nature of refrigerants and oils used in the systems,
incorrect application could result in accidents, injuries or death.
Extent of delivery
Details about the variations and contents of the DIGIMON manifold are de-
scribed in the REFCO catalog / flyer.
Storage
DIGIMON is a precision measuring instrument. After use store the manifold
in a protected environment. Do not store the manifold with refrigerant in
the unit or hoses.

Set-up and Operation
Install the battery by removing the battery cover from the rear of the manifold.
Turn on the manifold by pressing the ON/OFF button for 1 second.
Check the battery indicator on the display.
Setting refrigerants
To scroll through the refrigerants press the R+ or R- buttons. On the top center
of the display the letter “R” will begin to flash while scrolling. When the se-
lected refrigerant is displayed press the ENTER button to confirm this selection.
The letter “R” on the top will stop flashing. The refrigerant is now programmed.
Note: To confirm the refrigerant ENTER must be pressed after selecting the
desired refrigerant. If ENTER is not pressed after selecting the desired refri-
gerant the DIGIMON will revert back to the previous programmed refrigerant.
Setting Pressure units
Hold the ENTER button and press the R+ button to select the pressure unit
among bar / psi / kPa / MPa.

Setting Temperature units
Hold the ENTER button and press the R- button to select the desired tempera-
ture unit °C / °F.
Note: Selected settings will be stored in memory until the next manual change
is made.
Back Light
Press the LIGHT button and the back light will switch on for approximately 30
seconds.
Auto Shut-Off
Approximately 10 minutes after the last measurement or key press the
DIGIMON shuts off itself.
SUPERHEAT/SUBCOOL
Chosen refrigerant and the measured temperature of the external K-type ther-
mocouple (6) or the clamp thermocouple K- type (7).
Changing Superheat/Subcool
Hold the ENTER button and press the superheat/subcool to switch bet-
ween superheat and subcool.
Vacuum mode
Press the VAC button to display vacuum mode. Press the VAC button again to
quit this function.
Reading the Vacuum display:
The level of vacuum is shown on the display with (5) five vacuum bars. During
evacuation, the vacuum bars will increase from (1) one bar, no vacuum, to a
maximum of (5) five bars, high vacuum. The more bars displayed, the higher
the vacuum. For a more detailed vacuum level see vacuum specifications.
Note: The DIGIMON must be powered ON before connecting the hoses and
switching on the vacuum pump. If this is not in the correct order the vacuum
display will not show the correct vacuum level.
The end-vacuum depends on the capacity of the vacuum pump and the current
atmospheric pressure.
For an exact level of vacuum and for vacuum leak checking it is recommended
to use a separate micron vacuum gauge like the VG-64 or the Absolute-Vacuum
Gauge 19621(see REFCO catalog).
Reset
For best results it is recommended to reset/zero the manifold periodically every
40 to 50 hours.
1. Disconnect any hoses.
2. Open low side (blue) and high side (red) valves.
3. Turn on the manifold by pressing the ON / OFF button for 1 second.
4. Press and hold ENTER and LIGHT button at the same time.
5. When the word “ZEro” is shown on the display release ENTER and LIGHT
buttons.
6. Press and release the ENTER button once. The manifold is now reset.

Do not attempt to reset/zero the manifold while under pressure or in a
vacuum as incorrect pressure readings will be displayed.
Connecting the manifold to a system
• Connect blue hose (1) → compound side of system
• Connect red hose (2) → pressure side of system
• Connect yellow hose (5) → vacuum pump
• Close both valves (3+4)
Evacuation
• Turn manifold power on.
• Press the VAC button.
• Connect hoses.
• Switch on the vacuum pump.
• Open both valves (3+4).
• Check vacuum display.
• When the desired vacuum is reached close both valves (3+4).
• Press the VAC button again to quit this function.
Charging a system after evacuation
• Keep all valves closed (3+4).
• Disconnect the yellow hose from the vacuum pump and connect this
hose to the refrigerant gas cylinder.
• Open valve from refrigerant gas cylinder.
• Open blue valve (compound side). The system is now being charged with
refrigerant. Check the correct quantity of refrigerant with a charging
scale (REF-METER from REFCO) and observe the pressure on the
compound side.
• When the correct filling quantity has been reached close all valves.
• After the charging process check the pressure on the high pressure and
compound side of the unit.
• Disconnect all hoses from the system.
• Open valves (3+4).
Measuring by using the Superheat-Subcool function
• See “connecting the manifold to a system.”
• Plug in the external K-type thermocouple (6) or the clamp thermocouple
K- type (7) into the DIGIMON. (Jack on the right hand side of the shell.)
• Install the external K-type thermocouple (6) with an adhesive tape or use
the clamp thermocouple K-type(7) on the liquid or suction line.
• Choose the applicable refrigerant. (See “Setting of refrigerant.”)
• Activating display of temperature difference:
Press SUPERHEAT/SUBCOOL .
• To switch between superheat/subcool (liquid/suction line): Hold
ENTER and press SUPERHEAT/SUBCOOL.

Service of manifold
For SAFETY and RELIABLITY of the manifold, hoses and accessories should
be inspected to insure they are in good working order prior to each use.
All connection fittings and charging hoses must be checked and free of oil
residue before each use. A visible inspection is also necessary to ensure
that the hoses and the connection are undamaged, tight and leak free.
The seals and gaskets of the manifold are considered normal wear parts
and must be replaced from time to time. If the manifold’s piston valves are
not sealing or shows to be leaking, the pistons valves can easily be replaced
and are available as a spare part. Please refer to the manifold accessory
section of the REFCO catalog.
After installing spare parts to the manifold it is necessary to test the mani-
fold for leaks before the next use
Disposal of manifold
Dispose of the manifold according to the rules and regulations of the coun-
try of use.

Wichtige Sicherheits-Hinweise
Bevor Sie die Arbeit mit der Monteurhilfe aufnehmen, lesen Sie auf-
merksam die Bedienungsanleitung. Sie gibt Ihnen wichtige Hinweise
für den reibungslosen Betrieb, den Unterhalt, und die Entsorgung der
Monteurhilfe.
Verwendung / Einsatz
Die Monteurhilfe ist zum Messen und Einstellen der Druck-und Temperatur-
verhältnisse in mobilen und stationären Kälte-Erzeugungsanlagen entwickelt
worden.
Die Monteurhilfe darf nicht für andere Zwecke ausserhalb des Klima-
Kältebereichs eingesetzt werden.
Die Monteurhilfe darf nicht für Drücke, welche höher sind als 60bar /
870psi / 6000kPa / 6MPa eingesetzt werden.
Die Monteurhilfe darf unter keinen Umständen als Druckreduzierventil
eingesetzt werden, insbesondere nicht beim Einsatz von Stickstoff N2.
Die Monteurhilfe darf nicht mit dem Kältemittel Ammoniak (NH3 /
R717) eingesetzt werden.
Die Monteurhilfe darf nicht dem Regen ausgesetzt, sowie nicht in
feuchter oder nasser Umgebung benutzt werden.

Beim Arbeiten mit der Monteurhilfe ist immer eine Schutzbrille zu tra-
gen.
REFCO-Produkte wurden speziell entwickelt und hergestellt für die
Handhabung durch ausgebildete Frigoristen und Kälte-Techniker. Auf-
grund der hohen Drücke sowie der chemischen und physikalischen
Gase, die in Kältesystemen verwendet werden, lehnt REFCO jede
Verantwortung und Haftung bei Unfällen, Verletzungen und Tod ab.
REFCO weist ausdrücklich darauf hin, die Produkte ausschliesslich an
professsionell ausgebildete Fachleute zu verkaufen.
Lieferumfang
Der Lieferumfang für die verschiedenen Ausführungen und Variationen ist
dem REFCO-Katalog zu entnehmen.
Transport
Die Monteurhilfen werden ab Werk in einem Kunststoffkoffer inklusive Füll-
schläuche oder in einer Kartonschachtel ohne Füllschläuche geliefert. Mon-
teurhilfen sind hochwertige Messinstrumente. Wir empfehlen daher alle im
Karton gelieferten Monteurhilfen für den Transport in ein stabiles Behältnis
zu packen. Als Zubehör bietet REFCO dazu einen Kunststoffkoffer an.
Beachten:
Nach Gebrauch Kältemittel aus Monteurhilfe und Schläuche entleeren.

Die von der Monteurhilfe frei hängenden Schlauchanschlüsse (Verschrau-
bungen / Anlagenseite) können bei Nichtgebrauch an den Y-Anschlüssen
und am mittigen T-Stück angeschraubt werden. Dies dient dem Schutz der
Gewinde vor Verschmutzung und Beschädigung.

Anwendung
Vorbereitung
1. 9V-Batterie, (eckig) Typ 6F22, in das Batteriefach auf der Rückseite einlegen.
2. ON / OFF -Taste eine Sekunde drücken, Gerät ist eingeschaltet.
3. Ladezustands-Anzeige der Batterie kontrollieren.
Kältemittel auswählen
Durch Drücken der Tasten R+ oder R- kann das gewünschte Kältemittel aus
dem Verzeichnis abgerufen werden. Während der Auswahl blinkt das „R“
auf dem Display. Durch Drücken der ENTER-Taste wird das gewählte Kälte-
mittel fixiert. Das „R“ im Display blinkt nun nicht mehr.

Beachten: Falls die Kältemittelauswahl nicht mit der ENTER-Taste bestätigt
wird, bleibt das vorher ausgewählte Kältemittel aktiv.
Druck-Masseinheit auswählen
ENTER-Taste gedrückt halten. Mit R+-Taste die gewünschte Einheit auswäh-
len. Beide Tasten loslassen.
Temperatur-Masseinheit auswählen
ENTER-Taste gedrückt halten. Mit R--Taste zwischen °C und °F wählen.
Beachten: Die zuletzt ausgewählten Druck- und Temperatur-Masseinheiten
bleiben gespeichert.
Beleuchtung des Display
Durch Drücken der LIGHT-Taste schaltet die Display-Beleuchtung ein. Die
Display-Beleuchtung kann nicht ausgeschaltet werden. Die Beleuchtung
schaltet automatisch nach 30 Sekunden ab.
Automatische Ausschaltung
Ca. 10 Minuten nach letzter Messung oder letztem Tastendruck schaltet der
DIGIMON automatisch aus.
Überhitzung / Superheat – Unterkühlung / Subcool Modus
SUPERHEAT/SUBCOOL zeigt die Differenz zwischen der Temperatur ge-
mäss Dampfdrucktafel und der gemessenen Temperatur der externen Tem-
peratursonde (6) oder des Zangentemperaturfühlers (7).
Wechsel der Überhitzung / Superheat – Unterkühlung / Subcool Anzeige
Die ENTER-Taste gedrückt halten, SUPERHEAT/SUBCOOL kurz drücken.
Vakuum Anzeige
Die VAC Taste drücken um in die Vakuum Anzeige zu gelangen.
Anzeigewerte Vakuum
Beim Evakuieren werden maximal 5 Balken angezeigt. Wenn die Anzeige
stabil bleibt, ist das Endvakuum erreicht und die Evakuierzeit beginnt. Die
Anzeige des Endvakuums (5.Balken) ist abhängig von der Leistungsfähig-
keit der Vakuumpumpe und des atmosphärischen Druckes.
Beachten: Die Monteurhilfe muss eingeschaltet sein, bevor die angeschlos-
sene Vakuumpumpe in Betrieb genommen wird.
Falls ein genauer Vakuum-Messwert erforderlich ist, muss ein speziell ge-
eignetes Vakuummessgerät eingesetzt werden z.B. VG-64 oder ein Absolut
Vakuum Messgerät Nr. 19621 (siehe REFCO Katalog).
Reset
Es wird empfohlen nach ca. 40 bis 50 Betriebsstunden ein Reset durchzu-
führen um fehlerhafte Messwerte zu vermeiden.
1. Die Schläuche entfernen.
2. Öffnen der blau und rot markierten Ventile.
3. Einschalten der Monteurhilfe.
4. Die ENTER und LIGHT -Tasten gleichzeitig während 6 Sekunden drücken.
5. Wenn auf dem Display die Anzeige „ZEro“ erscheint, Tasten gleichzeitig loslassen.
6. Die ENTER-Taste drücken. Alle Eingaben und Daten mit Ausnahme der
Kältemittel und der Temperaturen werden auf Null zurückgesetzt. Auf
dem Display erscheint wieder die Normalanzeige.

Anschliessen der DIGIMON Monteurhilfe
• Blauen Schlauch anschliessen (1) → Anlage Saugdruckseite anschliessen
• Roten Schlauch anschliessen (2) → Anlage Hochdruckseite anschliessen
• Gelben Schlauch anschliessen (5) → Vakuumpumpe anschliessen
• Beide Ventile (3+4) schliessen
Evakuieren der Anlage
• Einschalten der Monteurhilfe.
• Drücken der VAC Taste.
• Schläuche anschliessen.
• Vakuumpumpe einschalten.
• Beide Ventile öffnen (3+4).
• Vakuum Anzeige kontrollieren.
• Wenn Endvakuum erreicht, beide Ventile schliessen (3+4).
• VAC Taste drücken um Vakuum Modus zu verlassen.
Füllen der Anlage
• Gelber Schlauch von Vakuumpumpe lösen und an Kältemittelflasche
oder Kältemittelzylinder anschrauben.
• Ventil an Kältemittelflasche oder Kältemittelzylinder öffnen.
• Blaues Ventil (3) (Niederdruckseite) öffnen, die gewünschte Menge Kälte-
mittel einströmen lassen. Falls nicht die erforderliche Menge Kältemittel
in die Anlage strömt, muss der Kompressor zugeschaltet werden.
• Nach Erreichen der Füllmenge, Ventil der Kältemittelflasche oder des
Kältemittelzylinders schliessen.
• Blaues Ventil (3) schliessen.
• Druck und Temperatur der Anlage überprüfen!
• Schläuche von der Anlage abschrauben.
• Ventile (3+4) öffnen.
Messen im Überhitzung/Superheat – Unterkühlung/Sub-
cool Modus
• Siehe „Anschliessen der DIGIMON Monteurhilfe.“
• K-Type Stecker der externen Temperatursonde (6) oder des Zangentem-
peraturfühlers (7) am DIGIMON einstecken (Buchse auf der rechten Ge-
häuseseite).
• Externe Temperatursonde (6) mit Klebeband oder den Zangentempera-
turfühler (7) an der gewünschten Messstelle auf der Hochdruckseite oder
Saugseite der Anlage befestigen.
• Zutreffendes Kältemittel einstellen (siehe „Kältemittel auswählen“).
• Anzeige der Temperaturdifferenz einschalten: SUPERHEAT/ SUBCOO
drücken.
• Anzeige Superheat/Subcool (Saugseite/Druckseite) wechseln: ENTER
gedrückt halten, SUPERHEAT/SUBCOOL kurz drücken.

Unterhaltsarbeiten an der Monteurhilfe
• Die Anschlüsse und Füllschläuche sind vor jedem Einsatz einer Sicht-
prüfung auf mechanische Beschädigungen zu unterziehen.
• Die Dichtungen einer Monteurhilfe unterliegen naturgemäss einem
mechanischen und alterungsbedingtem Verschleiss. Daher ist die Mon-
teurhilfe regelmässig vom Anwender auf Dichtheit zu prüfen.
• Bei undichten Ventilen ist der Kolben zu ersetzen (M4-6-04-R/10).
• Zum Wechseln des Schauglases an der Monteurhilfe ist das REFCO-
Spezialwerkzeug M4-6-11-T zu verwenden.
• Nach dem Ersetzen von Dichtungen ist die Monteurhilfe auf Dichtheit zu
prüfen.
Entsorgung der Monteurhilfe
Bei Ausserbetriebsetzung einer Monteurhilfe hat der Anwender die ein-
schlägigen Entsorgungsvorschriften seines Landes zu beachten.

Recommandations de sécurité importantes
Avant d’utiliser le by-pass, lire attentivement le manuel d’utilisation. Il
y est indiqué des informations importantes sur l’utilisation, l’entretien
et le recyclage du by-pass.
Utilisation / Mise en oeuvre
Le by-pass a été conçu pour les professionnels afin d’effectuer la mesure
et le réglage des pressions et des températures correspondantes, dans les
installations de réfrigération et d’air conditionné.
Le by-pass ne doit pas être utilisé à d’autres domaines que la réfrigé-
ration ou l’air conditionné.
Le by-pass ne doit pas être utilisé pour des pressions supérieures à
60bar / 870psi / 6000kPa / 6MPa.
Le by-pass ne doit sous aucune circonstance être utilisé comme ré-
ducteur de pression, particulièrement avec l’azote N2.
Le by-pass ne doit pas être utilisé avec de l’ammoniac (NH3 / R717).
Le by-pass ne doit pas être exposé à la pluie ni être utilisé dans un
environnement humide ou mouillé.

En utilisant le by-pass, toujours porter une paire de lunettes de pro-
tection.
Les produits REFCO ont été spécialement développés pour les tech-
niciens de la réfrigération et de l’air conditionné. A cause des hautes
pressions, des dangers chimiques dus aux gaz réfrigérants et aux hu-
iles, la mauvaise utilisation des matériels peut entraîner des préjudi-
ces graves. REFCO averit expressément sa clientèle contre les dangers
de la vente de ses produits à des personnes autres que des professi-
onnels.

Transport
Les by-pass sont livrés d’usine dans une valise plastique avec les tuyaux
de charge ou dans une boîte carton avec ou sans les tuyaux de charge. Les
by-pass sont des instruments de mesure de grande valeur; nous recom-
mandons que les modèles en boîte carton soient rangés dans une caisse ou
un coffret stable pendant le transport. REFCO propose une valise plastique
en accessoire.

Le by-pass électronique, 2 voies, DIGIMON est un instrument de mesure

Pour le rangement, les extrémités libres des tuyaux de charge peuvent être
fixées sur les raccords en Y (coté basse et haute pression) et sur le raccord
en Té (au milieu). De cette façon les filetages sont protégés et les tuyaux
sont protégés contre l’introduction accidentelle d’impuretés à l’intérieur.

1. Mettre en place la pile de 9V, (carré) type 6F22, dans le compartiment
prévu à cet effet à l’arrière de l’appareil.
2. Appuyer 1 seconde sur la touche ON / OF pour la mise en route de
ON / OFF l’appareil.
3. Contrôler le niveau de charge de la pile en bas de l’écran au milieu.

Sélection du fluide frigorigène
La sélection du fluide frigorigène se fait en appuyant sur les touches R+ ou
R-. Pendant la sélection, le signe „R“ clignote à l’écran. En appuyant sur la
touche ENTER le choix est enregistré; le signe „R“ne clignote plus.
Attention:
Si le choix du réfrigérant n’est pas confirmé en appuyant sur la touche
ENTER le réfrigérant précédemment choisi reste actif.
Sélection de l’unité de mesure de pression
Tout en appuyant sur la touche ENTER sélectionner l’unité de mesure en
appuyant sur la touche R+. En relâchant les deux touches, l’unité est enre-
gistrée, même après arrêt et redémarrage de l’appareil.
Sélection de l’unité de mesure de température
Tout en appuyant sur la touche ENTER sélectionner l’unité de mesure en
appuyant sur la touche R-. En relâchant les deux touches, l’unité est enre-
gistrée, même après arrêt et redémarrage de l’appareil.
Attention:
Les dernières unités de température et pression choisies restent en mé-
moire.
Rétro-éclairage de l’écran
Le rétro-éclairage fonctionne en appuyant sur la touche LIGHT. Il ne s’arrête
qu’automatiquement après 30 secondes.
Arrêt automatique
Le DIGIMON s’arrête automatiquement après 10 minutes sans utilisation
(dernière mesure ou utilisation des touches de commande).
Surchauffe et Sous-refroidissement
S UPER indique la différence entre la température théorique
fonction de la pression affichée et la température de la sonde extérieure (6)
ou de la sonde à pince (7).
Changement de l’indication entre la surchauffe et le sous
refroidissement
Appuyer sur la touche ENTER tout en appuyant rapidement sur SUPER-
HEAT/SUBCOOL;.
Affichage du vide
Appuyer sur la touche VAC pour afficher la mesure du vide.
Indication du vide
Lors du tirage au vide 5 segments peuvent être affichés au maximum. Quand
l’indication est stable, le niveau de vide final est atteint, et le temps de tirage
désire peut alors commencer à être décompté. Ce temps est fonction de la
capacité de la pompe à vide utilisée et de la pression atmosphérique.
Attention:
Le by-pass doit être allumé avant de mettre en route la pompe à vide.
Pour une mesure exacte du niveau de vide, utiliser un vacuomètre séparé
par example VG-64 ou un vacuomètre absolu Nr. 19621 (voir le catalogue
REFCO).

Mise à zéro
Après une utilisation de 40 à 50 heures de travail, il est recommandé
d’effectuer une remise à zero pour éviter toute erreur d’indication de me-
sure.
1. Débrancher les tuyaux.
2. Ouvrir les vannes bleu et rouge.
3. Appuyer une seconde sur la touche ON/OFF . L’appareil est alors en route.
4. Appuyer sur les touches ENTER et LIGHT simultanément pendant environ
6 secondes.
5. Jusqu’à ce que le mot „ZEro“ apparaisse à l’écran. Relâcher les touches
simultanément.
6. Appuyer sur la touche ENTER. Toutes les valeurs affichées à l’exception
de la référence du réfrigérant et de la température sont alors sur zéro.
L’affichage redevient normal.
Pour un affichage correct des valeurs de mesure, l’appareil ne doit pas
être sous pression ou sous vide pendant l’opération de remise à zéro.
Raccordement du DIGIMON by-pass à l’installation à contrôler
• Raccorder le tuyau bleu (1) → Raccorder coté basse pression de l’installation
• Raccorder le tuyau rouge (2) → Raccorder coté haute pression de l’installation
• Raccorder le tuyau jaune (5) → Raccorder à la pompe à vide
• Fermer les deux vannes (3+4)
Tirage au vide
• Mettre en route le by-pass.
• Mettre en route le DIGIMON en mode VIDE.
• Brancher les tuyaux.
• Mettre en route la pompe à vide.
• Ouvrir les deux vannes (3+4).
• Contrôler la valeur du vide.
• Quand la valeur souhaitée est atteinte, le temps de triage au vide
commence alors.
• Quand le niveau de vide est atteint, fermer les deux vannes (3+4).
• Appuyer sur la touche VAC pour quitter le mode Tirage au vide.
Remplissage de l’installation
• Débrancher le tuyau jaune de la pompe à vide et le raccorder à la bouteille
de fluide ou au cylindre de charge.
• Ouvrir la vanne de la bouteille ou du cylindre de charge.
• Ouvrir la vanne bleue (coté basse pression) et charger la quantité de
fluide désirée. Si la quantité nécessaire ne peut être chargée, le compresseur
doit alors être mis en route.
• A la fin de la charge, fermer la vanne de la bouteille ou du cylindre de charge.
• Fermer la vanne bleue.
• Vérifier les pressions et températures de l’installation.
• Débrancher les tuyaux de charge.
• Ouvrir les vannes (3+4).

Mesure de la surchauffe et du sous-refroidissement
• Voir „Raccordement du DIGIMON by-pass à l’installation à contrôler“.
• Raccorder la sonde de température extérieure (6) ou la sonde à pince sur
le coté droit du by-pass DIGIMON.
• Fixer la sonde externe (6) avec de la bande collante ou la sonde à pince
(7) à l’endroit désiré sur le coté basse ou haute pression.
• Enregistrer le réfrigérant correct. (Voir „sélection du fluide frigorigène.“)
• Afficher la différence de température: appuyer sur superheat/
subcool.
• Affichage de la surchauffe ou du sous-refroidissement (basse ou haute
pression): tout en appuyant sur ENTER appuyer rapidement sur SUPER-
HEAT/SUBCOOL .
Entretien du by-pass
• Avant chaque utilisation, contrôler visuellement les tuyaux de charge et
vérifier s’ils n’ont pas subit de dommages.
• Les joints d’un by-pass subissent des dommages mécaniques dûs à
l’usure, c’est pourquoi il est nécessaire de vérifier régulièrement
l’étanchéité du by-pass.
• En cas de vannes fuyantes, il est nécessaire de changer le piston complet.
(M4-6-04-R/10)
• Pour le changement du voyant du by-pass, il est nécessaire d’utiliser
l’outil spécial M4-6-11-T. L’utilisation d’autres outils peut endommager
l’écrou et le verre ou provoquer un vissage de travers de l’écrou.
• Après le changement d’un ou plusieurs joints et avant une nouvelle utili-
sation, il est nécessaire contrôler l’étanchéité du by-pass.
Recyclage du by-pass
Lorsque le by-pass est hors d’usage, observer les règles et règlementa-
tions en vigueur dans le pays d’utilisation pour le recyclage.

Indicazioni importanti
Prima di iniziare il lavoro con il gruppo manometrico, leggete attenta-
mente le istruzioni d’uso. Vi forniranno importanti indicazioni per un
funzionamento ottimale, la manutenzione e lo smaltimento del gruppo
manometrico.
Utilizzo / Impiego
Il gruppo manometrico è stato sviluppato per misurare, regolare le pressio-
ni e relazione delle temperature in impianti per la refrigerazione e condizio-
namento sia mobili che fissi. Si raccomanda l’utilizzo da parte di personale
qualificato.
Il gruppo manometrico può essere utilizzato SOLO per il condiziona-
mento e la refrigerazione.
Il gruppo manometrico NON può essere utilizzato per pressioni supe-
riori 60bar / 870psi / 6000kPa / 6MPa.
Il gruppo manometrico NON può assolutamente essere utilizzato
come riduttore di pressione, specialmente non usare con il N2 (Azoto).
Il gruppo manometrico NON può essere utilizzato con ammoniaca
(NH3 / R717).
Il gruppo manometrico NON si può abbandonare alla pioggia, nonché
usarlo nell’ambiente umido o bagnato.
