1 Introductie
Gefeliciteerd met uw i-See Touch; een beeldschermloep van hoogwaardige kwaliteit die
ook bijzonder gebruiksvriendelijk is met zijn aanraakbediening.
Lees deze handleiding aandachtig door voordat u uw i-See Touch in gebruik neemt. De
informatie in deze handleiding geldt voor zowel de i-See Touch en de i-See Touch met
Switch Screen model.
Deze handleiding bevat instructies over hoe het apparaat geïnstalleerd moet worden en
beschrijft alle functies.
2 Installatie, veiligheid en onderhoud
Inhoud verpakking
In de doos van de i-See Touch treft u het volgende aan:
• i-See Touch of i-See Touch met Switch Screen
• Stroomkabel
• Handleiding
• Afstandsbediening en Afstandsbedieningontvanger (optioneel accessoire)
• HDMI-kabel (voor i-See Touch met Switch screen functionaliteit)
Installatie
Maak het apparaat nooit zelf open; hiermee vervalt de garantie. Vermoedt
u dat onderhoud of reparatie noodzakelijk is, neem direct contact op
met de leverancier.
De i-See Touch wordt voorgemonteerd vanuit de fabriek geleverd. Om het apparaat te
gebruiken hoeft u alleen het scherm op de gewenste hoogte te schuiven, de stekker achter
in het apparaat te steken, de andre zijde in het stopcontact te steken en het apparaat aan
te zetten.
Scherm kantelen
U kunt het scherm kantelen door de zijkanten van het scherm stevig vast te pakken en het
te kantelen in de gewenste positie.

Scherm in hoogte verstellen
U kunt de hoogte van het scherm verstellen door het stevig aan de zijkanten vast te pakken
en het scherm naar boven of naar beneden te trekken in de gewenste positie.
De kabels aansluiten
U hoeft enkel de stroomkabel aan te sluiten. Steek de stekker in de aansluiting achter op
het apparaat en de andere zijde in een stopcontact.
De i-See Touch vervoeren
Bij het vervoeren van de i-See Touch wordt aangeraden de monitor helemaal naar voren te
kantelen, de monitor helemaal naar beneden te schuiven en het apparaat te vervoeren in
de originele verpakking. Wanneer het apparaat zonder originele verpakking wordt vervoerd
is er kans dat het apparaat beschadigt.
Gebruik
• Vermijd direct zonlicht op het scherm en het leestableau.
• Wees voorzichtig met de bewegende onderdelen van het tableau.
• De i-See Touch vraagt weinig tot geen onderhoud. Als u het apparaat aan de buiten-
zijde wilt schoonmaken, gebruik dan alleen een zachte droge doek. Gebruik in geen
geval agressieve schoonmaakproducten zoals alcohol, aceton en andere chemische
middelen.
• Gebruik de i-See Touch niet als hulpmiddel om te lopen, zitten of op te staan.
• Schakel het apparaat altijd uit als u er geen gebruik van maakt.
• Zorg ervoor dat de i-See Touch in een voldoende geventileerde ruimte staat.
• Gebruik uw beeldschermloep alleen binnen. Stel het apparaat niet bloot aan extreme of
snel veranderende temperaturen of vochtigheid. Plaats uw i-See Touch niet naast een
warmtebron of in direct zonlicht.
• Gebruik alleen de bijgeleverde kabels en sluit de stroomkabel aan op een stopcontact.
• Plaats het apparaat op een stabiele ondergrond zodat het apparaat niet kan vallen.
Zorgervoor dat de i-See Touch minimaal 10 cm van de tafelrand is geplaatst.

3 Bediening - Scherm
De aan/uit schakelaar van de i-See Touch bevindt zich
rechtsonder aan de achterkant van de monitor. Om het
apparaat aan of uit te zetten, houdt de knop 2 seconden
ingedrukt totdat u het opstart- of afsluitdeuntje hoort.
De bediening van de i-See Touch bevindt zich onder het scherm en bestaat uit aanraak-
knoppen:
3.1 Beeldweergave
Tikken
Tik op dit icoon om door de beschikbare beeldweergave standen te lopen.
Ingedrukt houden
Houd deze knop ingedrukt om te wisselen tussen de laatst gebruikte hoogcontraststand
en de fotostand.
Vegen
Veeg van links naar rechts om naar de volgende beeldweergavestand te gaan.
Veeg van rechts naar links om naar de vorige beeldweergavestand te gaan.
3.2 Vergroten/verkleinen
Tik op het min-icoon of houd deze ingedrukt om te verkleinen.
Tik op het plus-coon of houd deze ingedrukt om te vergroten.
Het vergrotingsniveau wordt op het scherm weergegeven.
3.3 Auto focus vastzetten
Tik op het vergrootglasicoon om de autofocus opnieuw in te stellen op uw
leesmateriaal en de autofocus vast te zetten op dat niveau.
Tik op een het min- of plusicoon om deze op te heffen.
3.4 Helderheid
Tikken
Door op dit icoon te tikken kunt u door 5 helderheidniveaus lopen.
3.5 Contrast
Vegen
Veeg van links naar rechts en houd uw vinger op de rechter zijde van het icoon om het
contrast te verhogen.
Veeg van rechts naar links en houd uw vinger op de linker zijde van het icoon om het
contrast te verhogen.
Contrast kan alleen worden aangepast in hoog contraststanden, niet in fotostanden.

3.6 Witbalans
Vegen
Veeg van links naar rechts en houd uw vinger op de rechter zijde van het icoon om de
witbalans kouder/blauwer te maken.
Veeg van rechts naar links en houd uw vinger op de linker zijde van het icoon om de witba-
lans warmer/geler te maken.
Witbalans kan alleen worden aangepast in fotostanden, niet in hoog contraststanden.
Helderheid, contrast en witbalans kunnen niet worden aangepast wanneer een lees-
hulp in gebruik is.
3.7 Geavanceerde leeshulpen
Ingedrukt houden
Houd dit icoon ingedrukt voor het geavanceerde leeshulpen menu.
De volgende leeshulpen zijn beschikbaar:
Veeg omhoog of naar beneden over dit icoon om de gewenste leeshulp te selecteren.
Iedere leeshulp heeft vervolgens 5 instellingen die worden aangeduid met een nummer.
Wanneer u de gewenste leeshulp heeft geselecteerd, tik op het icoon om de gewenste
instelling te selecteren of veeg van rechts naar links.
Om het geavanceerde leeshulpen menu uit te gaan, houdt het icoon ingedrukt gedurende
2 seconden. De leeshulp zal verdwijnen.
3.8 Tableau
De i-See Touch beschikt over een tableau waarop u uw leesmateriaal kunt plaatsen. Het
tableau kan van links naar rechts en van voor naar achteren bewegen.
3.9 Remhendel
Aan de voorkant van het tableau vindt u een remhendel waarmee u de beweging van het
tableau kunt bepalen. De hendel heeft 4 posities:
Links = Het tableau kan vrij bewogen worden.
Midden-links = Vrije beweging van links naar rechts.
Beweging van voor naar achter in stappen van 5 millimeter.
Midden-rechts = Vrije beweging van links naar rechts.
Beweging van voor naar achter geblokkeerd.
Rechts = Alle beweging geblokkeerd.

4 Bediening - Afstandsbediening
De i-See Touch kan gebruikt worden met een afstandsbediening. Deze afstandsbediening
wordt los verkocht. Een overzicht van de beschikbare afstandsbedieningen en hun functies
vindt u op pagina’s 42 en 44 van deze gebruikershandleiding. Neem voor meer informatie
contact op met uw leverancier.
5 Geavanceerd Menu
De i-See Touch bevat een geavanceerd menu waarmee u bepaalde functies kunt
(de)activeren. U kunt het geavanceerde menu bereiken door - wanneer het apparaat staat
- de aan/uitknop 10 seconden ingdrukt te houden totdat u het geavanceerde menu ziet.
Door op de helderheidsknop te drukken kunt u wisselen tussen de verschillende schermen
van het geavanceerde menu.
Met het plus- en min-icoon van de zoomknop kunt u de verschillende functies selecteren.
De actieve selectie is te herkennen aan de witte afgeronde rechthoek rond het icoon en de
status.
Druk op het vergrootglasicoon van de zoomknop om de huidige selectie aan of uit te zetten.
Om het apparaat uit te schakelen en de instellingen op te slaan houdt u de aan-/uitknop 2
seconden ingedrukt.
Beeldweergavestanden
Op het eerste scherm kunt u kiezen
welke beeldweergavestanden u
geactiveerd wilt hebben.
Bij stand A kunt u kiezen tussen de
standaard fotostand of fotostand
met hoge saturatie. Deze laatste
wordt aangeduid met een gele vink
naast het icoon.
De andere standen, de hoog
contraststanden, kunnen naar wens
individueel aan of uit worden gezet.

Bijgesneden beeld
De bijgesneden beeld-
functie snijdt het beeld tot
50% zodat een vergroting-
sniveau van 1x gebruikt kan worden
bereikt. Deze staat standaard uit.
Geluid
Wanneer deze functie aan
staat hoort u een piepsig-
naal wanneer u een functie
bedient. Deze staat standaard aan.
Vergrotingsindicator
Wanneer u in- of uitzoomt verschijnt er rechtsboven een vergrotingsindicator die
aangeeft wat de vergrotingsfactor is. Deze functie staat standaard aan.
Vergrotingsinstellingen
Wanneer deze functie aan staat zal het apparaat automatisch naar de laatstge-
bruikte vergroting gaan van de desbetreffende beeldstand gaan wanneer u wisselt
van hoog contrast naar fotostand of visa versa. Deze functie staat standaard aan.
Leeshulpen
Hier kunt u de leeshulpen individueel aan of uit zetten.
Standaard staan ze allemaal aan.
Verversingssnelheid/frequentie
Afhankelijk van uw locatie kan de frequentie van het lichtnet verschillen.
Door de frequentie in te stellen op de frequentie die bij gebruikelijk is, 50
of 60 Hertz, kan het zijn dat u door omgevingslicht veroorzaakte ikke-
ringen in het beeld kunt verminderen. Deze instelling staat standaard op
50 Hertz.
Contrast
Hiermee is de contrastregeling in of uit te schakelen. Dit staat standaard aan.
Witbalans
Hiermee is de contrastregeling in of uit te schakelen. Dit staat standaard uit.
Terug naar fabrieksinstellingen
De functie om terug te
gaan naar de fabrieksin-
stellingen wist alle instel-

6 Switch Screen
Sluit de HDMI-kabel aan op een van de HDMI-poorten op de achterkant van de i-See Touch
met Switch Screen functionaliteit en op uw computer. Druk eenmaal op de aan/uitknop om
te wisselen tussen de i-See Touch met switch Screen Functionaliteit en uw computer.
7 Richtlijnen
Producten met CE-markering voldoen aan het EMC Directive 2014/30/EC en het Low
Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU uitgegeven door de Commissie van de Europese Gemeen-
schap.
Nakoming van deze richtlijnen impliceert conformiteit aan de volgende richtlijnen:

1 Introduction
Congratulations with your i-See Touch; a desktop video magnier of high quality that is
especially user friendly with its touch sensitive input method.
Read this manual thoroughly before you start to use your i-See Touch. Information in this
manual refers to both the i-See Touch and i-See Touch with Switch Screen models.
This manual contains instructions on how the device needs to be installed, and describes
all of the functions of the i-See Touch.
2 Installation, safety and maintenance
Package contents
The package of the i-See Touch contains the following:
• i-See Touch or i-See Touch with Switch Screen
• Power adaptor
• Manual
• Remote Control and Remote Control Receiver (optional accessory)
• HDMI Cable (for i-See Touch with Switch screen function only)
Installation
Never open up the device yourself; this will void your warranty. If you
suspect the device is in need of service or repairs, please contact your
supplier.
The i-See Touch will be delivered to you in a pre-assembled state. All you have to do is slide
the screen up to your preferred height, connect the adapter and switch on the device.
Adjust the tilt of the screen
The screen can be tilted by rmly holding the screen on the left and right side, and tilting
the screen in your preferred position.

Adjust the height of the screen
The height of the screen can be adjusted by rmly holding the screen on the left and right
side, and pulling the screen up or down to your preferred position.
Connecting the cables
The only cable required to be connected is the power cable. Insert the power cable into the
back of the device and then into a wall socket.
Transporting the i-See Touch
If the device needs to be transported it is adviced to transport it in its original packaging in order
to avoid any potential damage to the device.
Tips for usage
• Avoid direct sunlight on the screen and tableau.
• Be careful when handling the moving parts of the reading table.
• The i-See Touch requires little or no maintenance. If you want to clean the exterior of
the device, only use a dry cloth. The use of aggressive cleaning products like alcohol,
acetone or other chemical substances is prohibited.
• Do not use the i-See Touch as a support for walking, sitting down or getting up.
• Switch off the device if you do not intend to use it.
• Ensure that the i-See Touch is placed in a well ventilated room.
• Place the i-See Touch on a stable surface to prevent it from falling.
• Only use your i-See Touch indoors. Do not expose the device to extreme temperature
uctuations or humidity. Do not place your i-See Touch next to a heat source.
• Only use the supplied cables and connect the adaptor to a wall socket outlet.
• Ensure that the i-See Touch is placed at a minimal distance of 10 cm / 4 inches from the
edge of the table.

3 Controls - Screen
The on/off switch of the i-See Touch is located at the lower
right hand side on the back of the monitor. To start up or
shutdown the device, hold it for 2 seconds until you hear the
start up or shutdown tone.
The controls of the i-See Touch can be found below the screen and consist of touch sensi-
tive pads:
3.1 Display Modes
Tap
Tap this icon to cycle through all available display modes.
Press-and-hold
Press and hold the Display Mode icon to quickly switch between your last used high contrast
mode and the full colour mode.
Swipe
Swipe from left of right to go to the next display mode in the cycle.
Swipe from right of left to go to the previous display mode in the cycle.
3.2 Zoom
Tap or press and hold the minus icon allows you to zoom out.
Tap or press and hold the plus icon allows you to zoom in.
The magnication level will be shown on screen.
3.3 Block auto focus
By tapping the magnier icon the device will refocus on your reading material
and block the auto focus on that level.
Tap a zoom button to unblock the auto focus.
3.4 Brightness
Tap
By tapping this icon you can cycle through 5 brightness levels.
3.5 Contrast
Swipe and hold
Swipe this icon from left to right and hold your nger on the right side of the rounded
rectangle to gradually increase the contrast.
Swipe this icon from right to left and hold your nger on the left side of the rounded rectangle
to gradually decrease the contrast.
Contrast can only be adjusted in high contrast modes, not in photo modes.

3.6 White Balance
Swipe and hold
Swipe this icon from left to right and hold your nger on the right side of the rounded
rectangle to gradually change the white balance to the colder, bluer side.
Swipe this icon from right to left and hold your nger on the left side of the rounded rectangle
to gradually change the white balance to the warmer, oranger side.
White balance can only be adjusted in photo modes, not in high contrast modes.
Brightness, contrast and White balance can’t be adjusted when reading aids are in use.
3.7 Advanced Reading Aids
Press-and-hold
Press and hold this icon to enter the Advanced Reading Aids menu.
The following reading aids are available:
Swipe up or down over this icon to select the desired reading aid required. Each reading aid
has 5 settings that are indicated by a number shown in the icon.
To change the setting value you can tap this icon to go to the next level or you can swipe
from right to left.
To change to a different reading aid then swipe up or down over this icon and then tap to
set the desired level of the reading aid selected.
To exit from the Advanced Reading Aids menu press and hold this icon for 2 seconds. The
reading aid will now disappear from the screen.
3.8 Tableau
The i-See Touch contains a tableau on which you can place your reading material. The
tableau can move from left to right and from front to back.
3.9 Brake Handle
In front of the tableau of the i-See Touch you will nd a single brake handle with which you
can control the movement of the tableau. The handle has 4 positions:
Left = The tableau can be moved freely.
Middle-left = Free movement from left to right.
Front to back movement can be adjusted by 5 millimeter increments
by moving the tableau.
Middle-right = Free movement from left to right, front to back movement is blocked.
Right = All movement of the tableau is blocked.

4 Controls - Remote Control
The i-See Touch can be used with a remote control. This remote control is sold seperately.
An overview of the available Remote Controls and its functions can be found on pages 42
and 44 of this User Manual. Contact your supplier for more information.
5 Advanced Menu
The i-See Touch contains an advanced menu with which you can (de)activate certain func-
tions of the i-See Touch. You can access the advanced menu by ensuring the device is
switched off, then holding the on/off button approx. 10 seconds until you hear a beep after
the start up tone.
By tapping the brightness icon you can cycle through multiple screens of selectable options.
Tap the plus icon of the zoom button to highlight which mode you wish to change.
You can recognize the highlighted function by the white rounded rectangle around it.
Tap the magnier icon to activate/deactivate your selection.
To save any changes, or to exit without making changes power off the device and power it
on again.
Display modes
On the rst screen you can select
whether you want the photo mode
to have realistic or high saturation
colors and which high contrast
mode you want available in your
i-See Touch live mode.
The second screen shows advanced
functions.

Crop zoom
The crop zoom function
crops the image on screen
to 50% so that a zoom le-
vel of 1x can be achieved.
This function is originally off.
Sound feedback
When this function is on
you hear a beep when you
change a function. This
function is originally on.
Magnification indicator
When you zoom in or out a magnication indicator shows up in the top left corner
that shows what the magnication factor is. This function is originally on.
Zoom preset
When this function is on the device will go to the last used magnication in high
constrast modes and photo mode when you switch to these functions.
This function is originally on.
Reading aids
This will let you turn reading aids on or off individually.
These functions are originally on.
Refresh rate / frequency
Depending on your location the mains power frequency will be 50 or 60
Hertz. By selecting the right setting you will supress ickering caused by
surrounding light. This function is originally set to 50Hz.
Contrast
With this function you can turn the manual contrast adjustment on or off. This
function is originally on.
White balance
Select whether you want the ability to manually set the white balance in the photo
modes. This function is originally off.
Factory reset
By turning this function on
you will reset the device to
factory settings.
This counts for all advanced func-
tions and the last used magnifica-
tion presets.
Software version
You will nd the installed software
version of the main board and its
camera.
