Connection
A satellite receiver can be directly connected to each of the four outlets of the Quad LNB. No
multi-switch or the like is necessary. Of course you can also use two random outlets to connect a
satellite receiver with twin tuner.
However, if there are more than four users to be connected to the Quad LNB, you need
a suitable multiswitch that is compatible to the Quad LNB.
If the multiswitch that you use only support a Quattro-LNB, you must change the multi-
switch.
Connect each outlet of the Quad LNB with the inlet of your satellite receiver via a suitable antenna
cable and corresponding F-plug.
It is absolutely necessary to use a high-quality, doubly shielded antenna cable suitable
for satellite signals so that the signals of the LNB are optimally routed.
If the cable between the LNB and the satellite receiver is very long, make sure that the
cable has a low damping.
The F-plug that is used to connect to the LNB must be suitable for operating outdoors
so that no moisture can penetrate.
In any case connect four cables to the Quad LNB and lay them in the interior even if you
want to connect less than four users to the LNB.
Slide the weatherproofing plastic cover of the LNB over the four F-plugs. It protects them addition-
ally from precipitation.
Disposal
The product must not be disposed of in the household waste.
Please dispose of the product at the end of its service life according to the current
statutory requirements.

Intended use
The product is designed to be installed on the LNB bracket (Ø 40 mm) of a satellite antenna and is
used to receive the appropriate digital satellite signals (TV, radio).
A satellite receiver can be directly connected to each of the four outlets of the Quad LNB. No
multi-switch or the like is necessary.

• Handle the product with care; it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental
falls, even from a low height.
Assembly
Attention, important!
If you do not have the expertise to install the device correctly, please contact an expert
or a specialist workshop and let them carry it out!
A suitable measuring device is necessary for the optimal setting of a satellite antenna
with the LNB for digital TV/radio reception installed inside.
Install the LNB to the appropriate bracket (feed reception) of your satellite antenna. The bracket
must accordingly have an opening diameter of 40 mm.
The round side of the LNB must point towards the satellite antenna. Additionally, make sure that
the ports of the LNB lie downwards.
There is a degree indicator on the side of the LNB. The LNB is to be rotated depending
on your location and the satellite you would like to receive.

Raccordement
Un récepteur SAT peut être connecté directement sur chacune des quatre sorties du LNB Quad,
aucun contacteur multiple ou analogue n’est nécessaire. Vous pouvez également utiliser deux
sorties au choix pour le raccordement d’un récepteur SAT avec double tuner.
S’il s’agit toutefois de raccorder plus de quatre abonnés sur le LNB Quad, vous aurez
besoin d’un contacteur multiple approprié supportant LNB Quad.
Dans le cas où le contacteur multiple que vous utilisez ne supporte qu’un LNB Quattro,
vous devez changer le contacteur multiple.
Reliez chaque sortie du LNB Quad à l’entrée de votre récepteur SAT au moyen d’un câble d’an-
tenne approprié et d’une fiche F correspondante.
Pour que les signaux du LNB soient transmis de manière optimale, il convient d’utiliser
impérativement un câble d’antenne de haute qualité à double blindage et supportant
les signaux de satellite.
Si le câble entre LNB et récepteur SAT est très long, veillez à ce que l’atténuation du
câble soit faible.
Les fiches F utilisées pour le raccordement au LNB doivent convenir pour l’utilisation à
l’extérieur et être conçus de sorte que l’humidité ne puisse pas y pénétrer.
Raccordez dans tous les cas quatre câbles sur le LNB Quad et posez-les à l’intérieur du
bâtiment, même si vous raccordez moins de quatre abonnés au LNB.
Glissez la protection plastique contre les intempéries sur les quatre fiches F du LNB. Cela protège
en plus contre les précipitations.
Élimination
Le produit ne doit pas être jeté dans les ordures ménagères.
Il convient de procéder à l’élimination du produit au terme de sa durée de vie confor-
mément aux prescriptions légales en vigueur.

Montage
Attention, important !
Au cas où vous ne disposez pas des connaissances techniques requises pour le mon-
tage, confiez-le à un spécialiste ou un atelier spécialisé !
En vue du réglage optimal de l’antenne satellite avec le LNB intégré pour la réception
TV / radio numérique, il faut un appareil de mesure approprié.
Montez le LNB sur le support correspondant (diamètre) à votre antenne satellite. La fixation doit
avoir un diamètre d’ouverture de 40 mm.
Le côté rond du LNB doit être orienté vers l’antenne satellite. Par ailleurs, il convient de veiller à ce
que les raccordements du LNB soient situés vers le bas.
Sur le côté du LNB se trouve un affichage des degrés. Le LNB doit être tourné en fonc-
tion du lieu de votre domicile et du satellite de réception.

Aansluiten
Aan elk van de vier uitgangen van de Quad-LNB kan een satellietontvanger direct worden aange-
sloten, er is geen multiswitch, etc. vereist. Uiteraard kunt u ook telkens twee willekeurige uitgan-
gen voor het aansluiten van een satellietontvanger met een twin-tuner gebruiken.
Wanneer echter meer dan vier deelnemers verbonden zijn met de Quad LNB, dan heeft
u een geschikte multi-switch nodig, die met de Quad LNB compatibel moet zijn.
Als de door u gebruikte multiswitch alleen een Quattro LNB ondersteunt, dan moet u de
multiswitch vervangen.
Sluit elke uitgang van de Quad LNB via een geschikte antennekabel en bijbehorende F-connector
met de ingang van uw satellietontvanger aan.
Voor het optimaal routeren van de signalen van de LNB, is het absoluut noodzakelijk
om een hoogwaardig, voor satellietsignalen geschikte, dubbel afgeschermde anten-
nekabel te gebruiken.
Als de kabel tussen LNB en satellietontvanger erg lang is, zorg er dan voor dat de kabel
een lage demping heeft.
De voor aansluiting aan de LNB geschikte F-connectoren moeten geschikt zijn voor
gebruik buitenshuis, zodat geen vocht kan binnendringen.
Sluit in ieder geval vier kabels aan de Quad LNB aan en verleg ze naar het interieur van
het gebouw, zelfs als u minder dan vier deelnemers aan de LNB wilt aansluiten.
Schuif de weerbeschermende plastic afdekking van de LNB over de vier F-connectoren. Dit be-
schermt bovendien tegen neerslag.
Afvoer
Het product hoort niet bij het huishoudelijk afval.
Voer het product aan het einde van zijn levensduur conform de geldende wettelijke
voorschriften af.

• Houd bij het monteren en aansluiten alle noodzakelijke voorschriften ter voorkoming
van ongevallen in acht, bijvoorbeeld als u een ladder gebruikt om de LNB op een sa-
tellietantenne te monteren. Gebruik alleen het juiste gereedschap voor de montage
en het aansluiten.
Laat in geval van twijfel het monteren en aansluiten aan een vakman over!
• Laat het verpakkingsmateriaal niet rondslingeren, dit kan voor kinderen gevaarlijk
speelgoed zijn.
• Behandel het product voorzichtig: door stoten, schokken of een val - zelfs van gerin-
ge hoogte - kan het beschadigd raken.
Montage
Let op, belangrijk!
Indien u geen vakkennis bezit voor de montage, laat dit dan over aan een vakman of een
gekwalificeerde werkplaats!
Voor een optimale instelling van een schotelantenne met een daarin geplaatste LNB
voor digitale TV/radio-ontvangst is een geschikt meettoestel vereist.
Monteer de LNB op de juiste beugel (feed-diameter) van uw satellietantenne. De beugel dient
hiervoor een opening met een diameter van 40 mm te hebben.
De afgeronde kant van de LNB moet in de richting van de schotelantenne wijzen. Let er ook op dat
de aansluitingen van de LNB naar beneden toe moeten liggen.
Aan de kant van de LNB bevindt zich een gradenindicatie. Afhankelijk van uw locatie en
de te ontvangen satellieten moet de LNB dienovereenkomstig worden gedraaid.
