omplettes analmodul zum Einbau in eine
horizontal geführte Abluftkanalstrecke, eingebaut
in ein geschweißtes, stabiles und verwindungsfreies
Edelstahl mit RAL 5002-Lackierung. Das Gehäuse
ist innen glattflächig. Die Wartungstür ist mit
Schellverschlüssen versehen. Der Boden ist als öl-
und wasserdichte, geschweißte Sammelwanne
ausgebildet. In das Gehäuse sind patentierte
X-CYCLONE®Abscheidezellen, Typ RMZ eingebaut.
Eine RMZ-Zelle besteht aus zwei Grundelementen
(610 x 610 x 50 mm), die v-förmig angeordnet
sind. Die Luft strömt in die offene Seite ein. Ein
spezieller, patentierter Drainageeffekt sorgt für
das Ablaufen der abgeschiedenen Flüssigkeiten.
Die Sammelwanne ist mit einem Ablaufstutzen
mit einer Ein-Zoll-Anschlussmuffe ausgestattet.
Die Muffe ist für den Anschluss einer bauseitigen
Ableitung mit Siphon vorgesehen. analübergänge
zum Anschluss sind nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten.
➜ Alle Grundelemente und Agglomeratoren können abgereinigt
und wiederverwendet werden, keine Wegwerffilter!
TÜV-geprüfter ➜ Flammdurchschlagschutz nach der
Richtlinie UL 1046 der US-amerikanischen Underwriters Laboratories®.

Special edition:
- Frame of stainless steel 1.4301 / profiles of aluminium
- Frame of stainless steel 1.4301 / profile of stainless steel 1.4301
Complete duct module suitable for the
installation into a horizontal duct line.
The module is incorporated in a completely
stainless steel sheet housing with a lacquer finish
in RAL 5002. It is stable and torsion-free and
has smooth internal surfaces. The maintenance
door is fitted with clip fasteners. The bottom part is
designed as an oil- and waterproof collection pan.
The housing is fitted with patented X-CYCLONE®
separating celle, type RMZ. The RMZ cell consists
of two individual basic modules (610 x 610 x 50 mm)
that are arranged in a V-type layout. The airflow
streams into the open end of the V inside the cell.
A patented, special drainage effect ensures that
the separated liquids run off. The collecting pan
is fitted with a drain connection with a one-inch
socket. It is intended for the connection of an
on-site drain line with a siphon. The duct
junctions are not included in the scope of delivery.
➜ All basic modules and agglomerators can be
cleaned and reused – no throwaway filters!
The ➜ flame arresting capacity of the basic module
type RXZ has been tested successfully by the German TÜV in compliance
with the directive UL 1046 of the American Underwriters Laboratories®.

Die Abscheidegeräte werden ohne Explosionsschutz ausgeliefert. Dies bedeutet,
dass keine Dämpfe, Gase oder Nebel abgesaugt werden dürfen, die explosionsfähig

Absaugen von Medien mit niedrigem Flammpunkt
Durch die zunehmende Verwendung von Öl mit einem niedrigeren Flammpunkt
auf modernen Werkzeugmaschinen ➜ nimmt das Brand- und Verpuffungsrisiko bei
der Werkstoffverarbeitung generell zu. Wenden Sie sich im Zweifelsfall an entsprechende
Fachfirmen für Brandschutzberatung und Brandschutzanlagen.

Bitte öffnen Sie die Wartungstür nicht bei laufendem Gerät. Das Gerät darf bei geöffneter
Wartungstür nicht eingeschaltet werden. ➜ In jedem Fall besteht Unfallgefahr.

Use of the devices in environments with a high risk of explosion
Our separators are delivered without explosion protection. This means that no vapours,
gases or mists that are themselves explosive or might form ➜ explosive media inside
the devices may be extracted.
Extraction of media with low ignition points
The steady increase in the use of oil with a low ignition point in modern machine tools
provokes a ➜ generally increased risk of fire and explosion in the field of material
processing. In case of doubt, please contact a competent specialized provider of fire
protection consultancy services and equipment.
ATTENTI N:
Please do not open the maintenance door when the device is in operation.
Do not switch the device on when the maintenance door is open.

Abscheiderinstallation:
Standardmäßig werden die Abscheidegeräte R M als rechteckige Box gefertigt. Sie werden
im Werk verpackt und je nach Größe auf einer Palette geliefert. Das Gerät kann mit dem
Gabelstapler oder Hubwagen auf der Palette stehend oder, mittels der Aufhängeösen,
hängend transportiert werden. Aufhängungen oder Gestelle für besondere Einbauwünsche
sind gesondert anzufragen. Bei der Aufstellung des R M ist darauf zu achten, dass eine
Ableitung an die Ein-Zoll-Muffe an der Geräteunterseite angeschlossen werden kann.
Außerdem ist bei der Aufstellung sicherzustellen, dass die Bedienseite zugänglich ist.
Einbaulage:
➜Das Gerät muss absolut
senkrecht stehen. Es darf
nicht waagerecht oder
geneigt eingebaut werden.
ACHTUNG:
Bei der Installation der Geräte ist darauf zu achten, dass die Ölrückführung getrennt
ausgeführt wird. ➜Das heißt, die Ablauföffnungen dürfen nicht
miteinander verbunden, also kurzgeschlossen werden!
Luftkanäle:
Die analanschlussmaße der Abscheider entnehmen Sie bitte unserem atalog bzw.
den technischen Daten (Seite 12). Anschlüsse mit abweichenden Maßen sind gesondert
anzufragen. Achten Sie bitte unbedingt darauf, dass der bauseitige analanschluss an
unsere Abscheider öldicht ausgeführt wird. Verwenden Sie zum Abdichten der Verbindungen
z. B. ein öl- und säurebeständiges Dichtmittel.
ACHTUNG:
➜ Das Gerät darf auf keinen Fall mit
geöffneter Wartungstür betrieben werden.

Installation of the separator:
In their standard version, the separator devices R M are designed and delivered as
rectangular boxes. They are packed at the factory and delivered on a pallet, depending on
their size. The devices can be transported in an upright position on the pallet with the help of
an elevator truck or a forklift or in hanging position using their suspension loops. If you desire
special installation options such as suspended mountings or mounting frames, please specify
them separately in your inquiry. Please note that the device is fitted with one-inch sockets at
the bottom for the connection of the siphon, i.e. make sure that the R M device is set up in
such a manner that the drain line can be connected to the one-inch socket. Furthermore,
make sure that the position of the separator provides for easy access to the service side.
Mounting Position:
➜The position of the device
must be absolutely vertical.
It must not be installed in a
horizontal or inclined position.
ATTENTI N:
When installing the device, make sure that the oil recirculation is fitted separately.
➜This means that the drainage openings may not be
connected to each other, i. e. not short-circuited!
Air ducts:
Please refer to our catalogue or the technical data on page 12 for the connecting dimensions
of the separators. Connections that differ from the standard dimensions should be specified
separately in your enquiry. Make sure under all circumstances that the connection of our
separators to the on-site duct system is oil proof, i. e. use oil- and acid-resistant sealant, for
example, to seal the connections.

Anschluss der Ableitungen:
Die Anschlüsse an den Abscheidern
müssen im Betrieb ➜luftdicht verschlossen
sein, da sonst die Funktion der Abscheider
nicht gewährleistet ist.
Dies kann zum Beispiel durch den Anschluss
eines Siphons oder durch eine Ableitung,
deren Ende luftdicht in einen Auffangbehälter
mündet, erfolgen.
Die Siphonauslegung der Maße a und b wird
im Folgenden beschrieben: Die maximale
"Ölsäule" im Siphon hat eine Höhe von 2 x b.
Connection of the drain lines:
The connections to the separators must be

Die Medienvor- bzw. -nachfilter müssen bei Verschmutzung ebenfalls gereinigt werden.
Über die Reinigungsintervalle gibt es keine genauen Zeitangaben, da der Verschmut-
zungsgrad je nach Einsatzfall unterschiedlich ist. Es ist jedoch empfehlenswert, die
Filter von Anfang an einmal pro Woche zu überprüfen, um die Verschmutzung zu
beobachten und die Reinigung dieser Filter in die Reinigungszyklen der Abscheider
einzubeziehen. Da einige Öle zum Verharzen neigen, ist es ratsam, die Wartung in regel-
mäßig kurzen Abständen durchzuführen. Hierdurch kann eine erschwerte Reinigung
vermieden werden.
ACHTUNG:
➜ Bei Bedarf von Austauschfiltern zur Verkürzung der Stillstandzeiten
des Geräts, bitte die Lieferzeiten und Preise anfragen.
The media pre- and/or after-filters must also be cleaned when dirty. We cannot specify
exactly the frequency of the cleaning intervals, because the degree of contamination differs
from case to case. However, we recommend inspection of the filters once a week right from
the beginning to observe the accumulation of dirt. The cleaning of the filters should be
included in the cleaning cycles of the separators. Since oils have a tendency to gumming,
cleaning at regular intervals is advisable and helps to avoid laborious cleaning operations.

Weisen die X-CYCLONE®Aerosolabscheider oder die AGG- Agglomeratoren
Verschmutzungen in Form von Verharzungen oder Filterkuchen auf, sind diese
mit einem Hochdruckgerät oder einer Industriewaschmaschine, z. B., zu reinigen.
Bei der Abscheidung von Medien, von denen eine biologische oder mikrobiologische
Gefährdung durch Bildung von Schimmelkulturen, Viren oder Bakterien,
z. B., ausgeht, müssen
➜ kurze Wartungs- und Reinigungsintervalle unbedingt regelmäßig eingehalten werden.
➜ Zur Reinigung der Filteranlage empfehlen wir den biologischen Entöler Oil-Free V2000.
Cleaning and Maintenance of the Separators
If the X-CYCLONE®aerosol separator or the AGG agglomerators show strong
contamination in the form of gumming or filter caking, they should be cleaned
with the help of a high-pressure cleaner or an industrial washing machine, for

Wenn im Abscheider gesundheitsgefährdende Stoffe abgeschieden werden, muss
vor dem Öffnen der Wartungstür entsprechende Schutzausrüstung angelegt werden.
➜ Sonst besteht je nach Abscheidemedium die Gefahr
von Vergiftung, Verätzung und / oder Verbrennung.
If materials that are hazardous to your health are separated in the device, put appropriate
protective clothing on before you open the maintenance door.
➜ This helps to avoid burns, poisoning and / or caustic burns
depending on the nature of the separated medium.
Vor dem Öffnen der Wartungstür, den Stillstand des Ventilators abwarten.

Die Wartungstür bzw. Abdeckung öffnen, dann die Elemente aus dem Gehäuse herausziehen.
Open the maintenance door or cover and extract the elements from the housing.
Bei der Wiedermontage der Plattenebenen ist darauf zu achten, dass die Elemente in
die Dränageaufnahme ➜ richtig eingeführt werden und die ➜ Filterprofile vertikal
angeordnet sind.
When reassembling the plate levels, make sure that the elements are ➜ reinstalled correctly
into the drainage receiver and the ➜ filter profiles are in vertical position.

Wartungsintervall / Maintenance interval
Wir empfehlen alle 6 Monate eine Routinekontrolle
und alle 12 Monate eine Reinigung der Filterstufen.
We recommend a routine inspection every 6 months
and the cleaning of the filter stages every 12 months.
Wir empfehlen, die Filter anfänglich einmal pro Woche
zu kontrollieren und je nach Verschmutzungsgrad der
ersten Filterstufe die Reinigungsintervalle festzulegen.
We recommend that the filters be inspected once a
week to begin with and that cleaning intervals be set
according to the degree of contamination of the first
filter stage.
Wir empfehlen, gegebenenfalls einen zusätzlichen
Vorfilter am Maschinenausgang (Flansch) zum
Gerät zu installieren. ontrolle einmal wöchentlich.

prefilter at the outlet of the machine (flange) to
