•Mobile handheld device printing — Simply forwardany e-mail from PDAs or
Internet-enabled cell phones – with or without attachments – to the HotSpot
Printer’s e-mail address. No drivers required!
•Driverless Web-based printing — Surf to the HotSpot Printer Web address
using any browser,and upload a file or enter the Web page URL to be printed.
After submitting each print request, the service automatically replies to the
sender’s e-mail address with a secure release code that is entered at the
keypad attached to the printer.
•Ironclad data encryption — All print jobs are encrypted and transferred using
128-bit secureSSL communications.
•Secure mobile printing — After printing, every job is automatically erased
from printer memory. No worries about unauthorized reprinting.

The Ricoh SP C420DN-KP ships with starter toner cartridges
that yield 3,000 pages; all other consumables ship at full yield.
For maximum performance and yield, we recommend using
genuine Ricoh parts and supplies.

Warranty
The Ricoh Aficio SP C420DN-KP is under warranty against
defects for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
Consumables are under warranty for a period of 90 days from
the date of purchase or until depleted, which ever comes first.

The HotSpot Workflow:
Printing from your PDA, Laptop or Phone is as easy as 1, 2, 3.
1. Documents and Web pages to be printed are sent
from a wired or wireless laptop, cell phone or
handheld device to the PrintSpots™server using
128-bit SSL encryption.
1. The printer’s unique Web page or e-mail address
is noted on a label affixed to the printer.
1. Each job is assigned a private release code
automatically.
2. The receiving server generates a compressed
printable data file and transmits it securely
to the destination printer, once again using
128-bit SSL encryption for complete file
integrity and protection.
3. The job resides safely in the printer's hard
disk drive until the user arrives at the
printer and enters a confidential 4 – 10
digit release code using the attached keypad.
3. The file is decompressed, printed and is
then automatically erased from memory
for total security. It’s that easy!
