NewFixed™ HEIGHT ORKSTATION ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP 1: LAY THE WOR SURFACE 1 ON A PROTECTED SURFACE WITH THE
PILOT HOLES AND INSERTS FACING UP. DETERMINE FROM DIAGRAM 1
BELOW WHICH PILOT HOLES YOU WILL USE TO ASSEMBLE YOUR WOR -
STATION. THE WOR SURFACE IS A UNIVERSAL DESIGN WITH HOLES PRE-
DRILLED FOR MULTIPLE WOR STATION MODELS. FOR NewFixed WOR -
STATIONS, USE ONLY THE PRE-DRILLED PILOT HOLES AS INDICATED.
DISREGARD HOLES INDICATED "DO NOT USE." THESE ARE NOT APPLICABLE
TO THIS MODEL.

STEP 2: PLACE THE COLUMN ASSEMBLIES 2 AND 3 ON THE WOR -
SURFACE WITH THE FEET FACING UP. THE WIDELY SPACED HOLES IN
THE WOR SURFACE SUPPORTS FACE THE CENTER OF THE WOR -
SURFACE.
STEP 3: WITH THE HELP OF AN ASSISTANT, PLACE (4) STAR WASHERS
5
ON (4) SOC ET SCREWS 6 . INSERT THESE THROUGH THE HOLES ON
EACH END OF THE CROSS SUPPORT 4 . THREAD THEM INTO THE
HOLES IN THE T-SLOT PLATES THAT ARE PRE-INSTALLED IN THE COLUMN
ASSEMBLIES 2 AND 3 . SEE DETAIL A. DO NOT FULLY TIGHTEN.
STEP 4: LEVEL THE CROSS SUPPORT 4 AT 4" FROM THE BOTTOM OF
THE WOR SURFACE SUPPORTS AS SHOWN IN THE DETAIL AT THE
LOWER RIGHT. FULLY TIGHTEN THE SOC ET SCREWS 6 . USE THE HEX
HEAD DRIVER BIT OR THE ALLEN WRENCH PROVIDED 10 . SPECIAL
EXCEPTION: ON WORKSTATIONS ON WHICH THE LifeBalance
STATION IS BEING INSTALLED, THE CROSS SUPPORT SHOULD BE
ATTACHED RESTING ON THE FEET OF THE COLUMN ASSEMBLIES TO
ALLOW FOR CLEARANCE OF THE EQUIPMENT.
STEP 5: INSERT (2) END CAPS 7 INTO THE ENDS OF THE CROSS
SUPPORT 4 .
READ ALL OF THE
INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE BEGINNING.
NOTE: SOME OF THE SCREWS IN THE HARDWARE
PAC SHIPPED WITH THIS WOR STATION WILL NOT
BE NEEDED.

STEP 5: ALIGN THE HOLES IN THE WOR SURFACE SUPPORTS WITH THE PILOT HOLES IN THE WOR SURFACE

DO NOT USE THE METAL MACHINE SCREW INSERTS IN THE WOR SURFACE TO ATTACH THE WOR SURFACE
SUPPORTS. SEE THE DIAGRAM ON PAGE 1. THESE ARE USED FOR A DIFFERENT STYLE OF WOR STATION.
ATTACH THE COLUMN ASSEMBLIES 2 AND 3 TO THE WOR SURFACE USING (16) WOOD SCREWS 8 . DO
NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE SCREWS. USE A LOW TORQUE SETTING ON THE DRILL.
STEP 6: WITH THE HELP OF AN ASSISTANT, STAND THE WOR STATION UPRIGHT IN ITS FINAL LOCATION. LEVEL THE
WOR STATION IF REQUIRED BY TURNING THE LEVELING GLIDES CLOC WISE (FROM THE TOP) ON THE LOW
CORNERS OF THE UNIT. IF YOUR WOR STATION HAS CASTERS, TURN THE BOLTS AT THE TOP OF THE CASTERS
CLOC WISE TO LEVEL THE UNIT.
