4-Attach each strap by
wrapping it around the
rack, threading its end
through its loop, and
pulling tight (Fig 5).
2-If your vehicle has an
antenna in the center
of its roof, temporarily
remove it (Fig 1).
Prepare The Vehicle
The correct attachment of this product is critical and
beyond the control of Rightline Gear. The safe use
and long life of this product depends entirely on
your good judgment and following these directions.
Universal Paddlesports Carrier 100K40
1-Inate both chambers of the Pads (Fig 2).
NOTE: REQUIRES SPACE UNDER THE ROOF RACK SIDE
RAILS FOR THE PADS’ ATTACHMENT STRAPS TO PASS
THROUGH.

1-Clean the vehicle’s
roof of all dirt and debris.

Remove the Car Clips from the (4) attachment straps (Fig 3).

1-Identify the Attachment Straps (Fig 2).
Attach The Pads - WITH A Roof Rack
3-Place the Pads on the center of the vehicle’s roof (Fig 4).

WARNING: DO NOT PLACE THE PADS ON CROSSBARS.
IF USING ON A VEHICLE WITH CROSS BARS, REMOVE
THE CROSS BARS ENTIRELY.

Thread the straps up through slot A and down through slot
B of the buckles (Fig 6) and tighten straps evenly (Fig 7).

6-Tie off the strap ends so they don’t ap in the wind (Fig 8).
1-Identify the Attachment Straps (Fig 2).
Attach The Pads - WITHOUT A Roof Rack

Place the Pads on the center of the vehicle’s roof (Fig 10). If a
4-door vehicle, (1) strap will attach to the door frame weather
molding in each of the (4) doors. If a 2-door vehicle, (2) straps
will attach to the door frame weather molding in each of the
(2) doors.

Start with the Car Clips on the (4) attachment straps (Fig 9).

4-Hold the straps with
the Car Clips facing to-
wards the vehicle (Fig
11). Thread the straps
up through slot A and
down through slot B of
the buckles (Fig 6).
4-Repeat steps 2 and 3
for the second End Strap
at the rear of the vehicle.
Re-Connect The Car Clips To The Attachment Straps

5-Tighten both front and
rear End Straps evenly
and tie off the strap
ends to they don’t ap in
the wind (Fig 18).
WARNING: THE (2) END STRAPS MUST BE USED AT
ALL TIMES WHILE TRANSPORTING A KAYAK OR
CANOE. AT LEAST (1) END STRAP MUST BE USED AT
ALL TIMES WHILE TRANSPORTING A SUP. FAILURE
TO USE THE END STRAPS MAY RESULT IN DAMAGE
TO THE BOAT AND/OR VEHICLE.
Secure The Boat To The Pads
1-Identify the Boat Straps (Fig 2).
3-Connect one of the
Boat Strap hooks to the
desired attachment point
(Fig 13).
2-Place the boat on top
of the (2) Pads. Make
sure the boat is centered
over the Pads.

4-Run the Boat Strap
over the boat to the op-
posite side of the vehicle
(Fig 14).

Connect the Boat Strap
hook to the desired attach-
ment point and tighten.
3-Attach the End Strap’s
hook to an attachment point
at the bumper or frame be-
hind the bumper (Fig 17).

6-Check all straps before driving. Make sure to re-tighten
the straps after a few miles and check them regularly
throughout the trip.

NOTE: IF A STRAP MAKES NOISE WHILE DRIV-
ING, LOOSEN THE STRAP, RE-POSITION IT SLIGHT-
LY, AND RE-TIGHTEN. IF A STRAP CONTINUES TO
MAKE NOISE, LOOSEN THE STRAP(S), PUT A TWIST
IN THE STRAP(S), AND RE-ATTACH ACCORDING TO
THE INSTRUCTIONS OUTLINED ABOVE.

5-Open the vehicle’s doors and hook the Car Clips under
the door frame weather molding (Fig 12).
6-Tie of the strap end so
it doesn’t ap in the wind
(Fig 15).

Repeat steps 3-6 for
the second Pad.
Attach The End Straps
1-Identify the ladder buck-
le strap pieces of the End
Straps (Fig 2).
2-Attach the hook of one
of the ladder buckle strap
pieces to an attachment
point on the front of the
boat (Fig 16).

2-Thread the strap’s end through its loop (Fig 20).
3-Pull the strap’s end to tighten the strap around the Car
Clip (Fig 21).
4-Repeat steps 1
-
3 for the other (3) straps.

6-Tighten the straps evenly and shut the vehicle’s doors
over the clips/straps.
