Replace the USB hub on a DL5200
Use this procedure to replace the USB hub on a DL5200™.
Rimage approved parts must be used for this process. The product warranty may become void if parts not approved by Rimage are
used; equipment or parts are tampered with, misused, neglected, or modified in any respect without the written consent of Rimage.
Before you begin
1. Stop or pause all jobs.
2. Power off the external control center.
3. Power off the DL5200.
4. Disconnect the power cord from the power outlet.
#Required tools:
•Torx T10 screwdriver
•Small Phillips screwdriver
Remove the USB hub
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the back of the DL5200.
nCaution! Some cables in this system are latched.
Equipment damage may occur if cables are not
disconnected appropriately.
2. Remove the left side panel.
a. Remove the Torx T10 screws (Qty.8) securing the left side panel.
b. Remove the left side panel.

3. Disconnect the cables (Qty. 3) from the
USB hub.

of the back panel so that the connector is on the
left when looking at the rear of the system.
2. Insert the Phillips screws (Qty. 2) to secure the
USB hub.
