5. Disconnect the cables (Qty. 2) from the recorder.
nCaution! Some cables in this system are
latched. Equipment damage may occur if
cables are not disconnected appropriately.

-Important! Disconnect the cables at the
positions indicated. Do not allow the cables to
fall back into the system.

Install the Recorder
1. From the front of the Producer IIIN, position the new recorder close to the recorder opening.
2. Connect the cables to the new recorder.

3. Slide the new recorder into the Producer IIIN.
4. Tighten the thumbscrews (Qty. 2).
5. Close the door.
6. Connect the power cord to the power outlet.
The system is ready for use.
Tip: You should not need to align the new recorder unless you are experiencing disc picking problems.

Update the Rimage Software
-Important! Install the appropriate service pack included with the recorder. This ensures that the new recorder
is supported by your Rimage system.
If no service pack software was included with the recorder, be sure you have the most recent service pack
already installed.
