Using the Jig
1. Make a mark on the face frame or front edge of the
cabinet to indicate where the bottom of the installed
slide will be. You will use this mark to align the jig.
2. Place the slide’s cabinet member on the appropriate side
of the jig, taking care to orient it as it will be installed in
the cabinet. Make sure the front of the slide is tight
against the setback stop. Then slide the Locking Wedge
down to secure the slide cabinet member in the jig.

3. Aligning the beveled edge on the jig with the mark you
made earlier to locate the bottom of the cabinet
member. Fig 1.
4. Hold the jig firmly in place, tight and square against
the cabinet. Clamp the jig to the cabinet or face frame
if desired.
5. Working through the cutouts in the jig, attach the
slide cabinet member to the cabinet with at least
two screws. Fig. 2.
6. Slide the Locking Wedge to release the jig. Install
additional screws as necessary to fully secure the
slide cabinet member.
Quick Positioning with the Indexing Rod
1. Remove the Indexing Bar from its storage area on top
of the jig.
2. Install it from the top or bottom of the jig, depending on
whether the reference surface is above or below the
location of the slide.
3. With the slide cabinet member secured in the jig (as
described above), position the jig and hold or clamp
it in place.
4. Slide the Indexing Bar until its plastic foot makes
contact with the reference surface.
5. Tighten the brass knob to secure the Indexing Bar.
6. For subsequent installations, position the jig using
