Supported Editors
These setup instructions apply to any editors using the Ross
Automation editor protocol.
Requirements
• Editor Interface Software Option
• Ethernet Cable
Port Connections
Switcher Setup
1. Press HOME Setup Installation Com Setup 
Type.
•UsetheCom Port knob to select the PERIPH Xport that you
connected the Ross Automation editor to.
•UsetheDevice knob to select Editor.
2. Press Editor Protocol.
•UsetheDevice knob to select RossAuto.
3. Press Com Type.
•UsetheType knob to select Network TCP.
4. Press Com Setting.
5. Use the Client/Server knob to select Server.
•IntheLocal IP Address field, enter 0.0.0.0.
•LeavetheLocal IP Port field as is
6. Press HOME Confirm.
Note: The Editor remote enable, or button, must be turned on for the
editor to control the switcher (Home More Remote Enables).
Device Setup
Ensure the port on the Ross Automation editor that is connected to
the switcher is configured for Network TCP.
