
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Setting Up the Stand
Step 1) To set the stand up, release the legs by pulling back the spring
loaded catch.
Step 2) Unfold legs completely and set upright. Make sure the unit is
on level ground and that the leg collar is positioned completely
over hinge point. Securing a Door in a Vertical Position
Standard Door Set door on legs and secure it to bench with door grabber.
Oversize Door Using back of bench, set door on a protective surface on
floor and secure it to bench with door grabber.
Small Door (Bi-Fold) Position risers to correct height and tighten. Set
door on the risers and secure it with door grabber.
GENERAL INFORMATION
You have purchased a Rousseau Door Bench. When in use this bench
can save you valuable time, money, and space. The bench is designed
to give a comfortable, sturdy station for planing, sanding, drilling, routing
hinge mortises, and cutting to exact size.
WARRANTY
This product has a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser. The
warranty applies to defects in materials and workmanship only. We will
repair or replace the product or part(s) at our discretion. This warranty
does not apply to product failure or defects due to direct or indirect
misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, alterations, repairs, or lack of
maintenance. The item must be shipped prepaid to our Clarkston, WA
location and will be returned by standard shipment via carrier of our
choice. Call for return instructions before shipping item(s).

These sections contain important safety information concerning a haz-
ard that may cause serious injury or death, and/or damage to stand or
equipment if not used properly. Please read the following instructions
carefully.
WARNING Always follow the safety recommendations and safety
guidelines from the manufacturer of your tools. When in
doubt refer to your tool’s owners manual.
Always set the Door Bench on level ground. Failure to
do so could result in tipping, causing serious injury to
the operator and/or equipment.
Always keep hands clear of hinge points. Failure to do
so could result in serious injury or loss of fingers.
Always secure the collar over the hinge point on legs
when setting up stand. Failure to do so may allow the
stand to collapse, resulting in serious injury or damage
to self, work piece and/or equipment.
When using risers with a narrow door, always be sure to
lock them down securely. Failure to do so could result
in serious injury to self and/or work piece.
Always plug the power strip into a grounded outlet. To
reduce the risk of electric shock, use indoors in a dry
location.
