HE01S
Introduction
HE01S is an HDMI extender that can use Ethernet cable to send an HDMI signal for up to 50 meters. Its RX
unit requires no power when the transmissions distance less than 30M. Its transmitter unit has EDID auto
backup function that can save desired resolution and restore it whenever.
Features
Resolution up to 1080p@60Hz.
Signal extension up to 50M over CAT5e cable.
No external power required at RX unit under a distance of 30M.

EDID Setup
Default EDID
1. move DIP switch 1 off ↑
2. move DIP switch 2 off ↑Select the first default EDID: support 1080i / LPCM 2 Channel.
3. move DIP switch 2 on ↓Select the second default EDID: support 1080p / LPCM 5.1 Channel.
Copy EDID
1. move DIP switch 1 on ↓, HE01ST unplug the power.
2. HE01ST connect to HDMI connector of TV for auto backup.
3. Plug the power for HE01ST, TV EDID back up completed (Blue Power LED keep flash)
4. After complete TV EDID backup, HE01ST power must be reset (unplug and plug) to activate the new
EDID.

After complete Dip Switch setting, power must be reset (unplug and plug) to activate the new EDID.

Caution
The cabling must be away from any equipment with electromagnetic wave, such as microwave
ovens, mobile phones, radio equipment, power lines.
It’s recommended using high quality CAT5e UTP or CAT6 UTP cable for link cable.
If distance exceeds 30 meters, using CAT6 cables is recommend.
DD NOT use STP cable, or it will caused no picture.
