4.4. LCD Error Messages
4.4.1. “Hi” or “Lo” is displayed when the temperature being measured is outside the range of the instrument.
4.4.2. “Er1” is displayed when the ambient temperature of the thermometer is below -10°C or above 50°C. In both the cases the
thermometer should be allowed time to stabilize to room temperature 0°C to 40°C.
4.4.3. “Er2” is displayed when the thermometer is exposed to rapid changes in the ambient temperature.
4.4.4. For all other error messages it is necessary to reset the thermometer. To reset the thermometer turn off, remove the battery, wait a
minimum of 1 minute then replace the battery and turn on.

dry before use. The thermometer is not water proof, Do Not submerge in water.

Environmental Protection
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be
sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment.
When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain off any fluids (if applicable)
into approved containers and dispose of the product and the fluids according to local regulations.
WEEE Regulations
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed
of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.
