Align the hole on the speaker stand to the hole on speaker.
Fix them securely with the special screw provided.
Route the speaker wire through the speaker stand hole. Connect
the wire without insulation tube to the speaker minus (
-
) terminal,
and the wire with red insulation tube to the speaker plus (+)
terminal.
Connect the other end to the main unit. Attach the stand cover.

Listening to the DVD sound
START
Turn on the TV, and switch the input to the “VIDEO 1”,
“VIDEO 2”, etc. accordingly.

Press the ON/STAND-BY button
to turn the power on.
Press the DVD/CD button to
set the input to “DVD”.
Insert the disc into the disc
slot, label side up.
Press the ON/STAND-BY button again
to set the unit to the stand-by mode.

When this product is subjected to strong external interference (mechanical shock, excessive static electricity, abnormal supply
voltage due to lightning, etc.) or if it is operated incorrectly, it may malfunction.
This operation will erase all data stored in memory including clock, timer settings, tuner preset and CD programme.
L If trouble occurs
L Factory reset, clearing all memory
If such a problem occurs, do the following:
Caution:
1 Press the ON/STAND-BY button to enter the power stand-by mode.
2 Whilst pressing down the cbutton, press the ON/STAND-BY button until “CLEAR ALL” appears.
1 Set the unit to the stand-by mode and turn the power on again.
2 If the unit is not restored in the previous operation, unplug and plug in the unit, and then turn the power on.
Note:
If neither operation above restores the unit, clear all the memory by resetting it.
If playback does not start, press
the DVD/CD button.
Use 2 “AA” size batteries (UM/SUM-3, R6, HP-7 or
similar).

Select any of the 8 preset modes already set to the optimal sound quality levels.
Select a desired sound mode by pressing the SHIFT and SOUND MODE buttons simultaneously.
